As long as he's got Dolce I have faith, and I already have faith in Chael alone as a wrestler and a fighter to make weight for a title fight. I'm more excited for this than the super bowl, if the steelers were in it then it'd be close but goddamn it this is way up there.

I think it was early in the sense that Chael wasn't out of it. He wasn't defending like he should have been, but I think he could have continued. I had Silva winning from the start and I'm glad we won, it just seemed like Chael still had something left.

As a diehard Chael fan, I thought the stoppage was pretty justified too.
I'm just glad I didn't throw money on the fight as I was so close to doing so.

Eh, I'll go sit in the corner now.
He would have eaten multiple shots, he didn't do anything to give any indication that he had anything left. The referee realized Chael wasn't moving, he would have laid there taking unnecessary shots, risking serious injury. I don't want any fighter subjected to extra punishment and when somebody is on the ground, turtled up, taking punches from a guy like Anderson, i think you need to stop the fight or risk permanent injury to Sonnen. He may have had something left, but with a few more shots, Anderson would have likely knocked him out completely. I don't think anybody would be ok with that happening.
In the end, it was a great fight and Anderson showed why he is the GOAT. I'm just glad nobody is bitching about the knee on our website, unlike Shitdog and the UG. That's the reason I love our community, nobody is unreasonable or blind to what actually happens during fights.
I had some trouble with my DVR as well, the HD PPV goes on for 10 hours for some reason and my DVR would only let me record the entire 10 hours, I couldn't select certain times. I just ended up turning the cable box off once the Anderson/Sonnen fight was finished and that cut the recording off right after the post fight speeches.

I talk more actual MMA here than on Sherdog. Most of my posts there were in Mayberry and chat threads. My nice green platinum account is just wasting away over there, haven't logged in but once this week
I made an account once when I was first getting into MMA. I asked JMT what websites were a good source of information and news to help me get an understanding on the sport and he told me about Sherdog's main page. I still use Sherdog for news, interviews and fight finder, I think their main page is the best out of all MMA news websites(not including the UG IPhone App which is my main source of everything MMA.)

I laughed at the thread title change.
I don't think I will end up repeating as champion in the prediction contest. If memory serves I was third heading in and I missed too many to retake the lead. I doubt the Munoz/Weidman and Rockhold/Kennedy cards will boost me back.
