NFL Week 4 LD

Too bad awards aren't handed out after a handful of games. Otherwise the Steelers and Broncos would've made the playoffs after week 9 last year. You don't know how good these teams really are gonna be. It's speculation. At the end of the year he's doing this, fine, but I'm not gonna go and proclaim he's so great after 3 games, since you DON'T know how these teams are gonna finish.

And obviously Stafford isn't there yet. I never said he was. He has the talent to make it there, but until he goes out and does it for a full season (and no a full season isn't 4 games) then I'm not gonna go out and say how great he is. Obviously Mark has potential, but he's probably not even a top 15 QB yet. Same as Matt. You can't give guys a whole lot of praise and crown them through a little time frame. Needs a larger body of work and continue to do it more consistently this year and on before he should even be mentioned.

Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco were well ahead of where Mark is their sophomore year, but neither is a top 5 and might not even be a top 10 QB yet. Sorry I don't like to jump to conclusions.

And David Garrard was a pro bowler last year. It's not that great of an accomplishment.

And the G-Men are destroying Cutler so far. Like 8 or 9 sacks before half :lmao:.

Holy shit, if the G-men's receivers could actually hang on to the ball they might have had this game sown up already instead of it being a giant fucking circus

This game is ungodly boring. Both teams are shit on offense, the defense for the Bears is the only thing trying to keep this within striking distance. If the Bears win it will be due to Special Teams and Defense.

And I've never once said you should say he's great. All I said is that he PLAYED great, which he has now 3 fucking weeks in a row (and in the playoffs last year as well). And none of what I said was speculation. All I said is that at the quarter way point of the season, Sanchez has been one of the best QBs in the AFC.

And obviously Stafford isn't there yet. I never said he was. Hey, for the first time you admitted that he isn't total shit, it's about fucking time. Too bad you're about the last person on earth to admit that. And again, all I'm giving him credit for is what he's doing, which is playing at a very high level in 3 2010 division games (one of which was against an excellent defense) and in the 2009 playoffs, where he greatly exceeded expectations. He has grown a shit-ton as a QB since the middle of last year, which is not surprising given that he's a talented QB that has a great O-Line, running game, and receivers.

Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco were well ahead of where Mark is their sophomore year, but neither is a top 5 and might not even be a top 10 QB yet. Sorry I don't like to jump to conclusions.
I'd disagree. Mark is right with Flacco's career path so far. Both went to the AFC Championship game as a Rookie on the backs of the D and running game. Did Flacco have a better statistical year in 2008 then Mark in 2009? Maybe, but that means fuck all. Both their seasons ended the same way, losing the Conference Championship.

And David Garrard was a pro bowler last year. It's not that great of an accomplishment.
Garrard was named to the Pro Bowl after about 9 QBs refused it. I think Sanchez was the next in line after Garrard. What I was saying is that he would be voted in, not be selected as an alternate. Getting voted in IS an accomplishment. I didn't specify that clearly enough, my bad.

Shit game. What did Cutler go out with, a concussion? Sucks if it's true for them. But they haven't gotten shit and the G-Men have looked dominant today.

And ST, I'm not gonna go into this debate with you after each Sanchez game. That's my last comment on the subject until we at least get into the double digits in weeks.

Now Collins goes out. Don't the Bears have CMU alum Dan Lefevour on the bench? Bring his ass in.

Well I'm going to fucking bring it the fuck up every fucking week until you fucking come to your fucking senses and admit that he played fucking great the past 3 weeks and has improved greatly since last season, which even though it's the fucking truth you fucking fail to fucking admit it becuase you're a fucking stubborn fuck who just wants to hate on the kid because he either
A) Played at USC
B) Playing in New Fucking York (Jersey).

Fucking fuck man, how fucking stupid are you? I don't give a fucking shit if you never fucking comment. I will fucking say it every week, and even it if it's only 1 fucking person at a fucking time, they will all fucking agree with me (at least so far) since everything I've fucking said is a fucking FACT.

Asshole.

Fuckin Steelers. O well, costly mistakes, keeping Batch on shackles and poor special teams. O well Ben's back next game....

I said he had a good 3 games, even though none of the defenses were all that special. I'm not gonna say a whole lot more about it, since it's only week 4.

But continue to get pissy and make your paragraph answers for my one sentence responses. I find it hilarious you're bitching at someone who really couldn't care less. I don't give two shits about anyone aside from the Lions and partially the Pats.

The Bears put LeFevour on waivers hoping to sign him to the practice squad but the Bengals claimed him so he is currently backing up the Palmer's. Caleb Hanie is next in line for Chicago.

Let's start the MNF party early.

Are you ready for some FOOTBALLLLLLL? You know I am, Hank Williams Jr.

Bastards. He was actually quite awesome in college.

He was the fucking man. One of only two qb's the ever throw for over 3,000 yards and rush for over 1,000 yards in a season. He is the MAC's all time leader in total offense. He is the only qb to ever throw for over 12,000 yards and rush for over 2,500 in his career. He is second all time in college football history in total yards and he has the FBS record for most touchdown in a career with 149.

1. Great, not good.
2. Again, you're a fucking moron if you think the Dolphins have a bad D. You're the only person to think that. But you're the all knowing Megatron/Papa Grande/Detroit Sportsman Nickname.
3. Until today, you never even said anything other then he sucks, so don't go acting like you said he even had good games.

But continue to get pissy and make your paragraph answers for my one sentence responses. I find it hilarious you're bitching at someone who really couldn't care less. I don't give two shits about anyone aside from the Lions and partially the Pats.
Yeah, it's called defending your team against blind haters. I do that because I actually give a shit about my team, and because my team isn't as shit as you make them out to be, unlike your team which seems to be shit (unfortunately). See, I have no ill will towards the Lions, or really any team for that matter that aren't the Patriots (hated division rival) or Steelers (local team with shit fans). You obviously do hate the Jets, for whatever reason I don't know.

Dude seriously this is already getting old, if you're gonna bring this shit up every fucking week, I'm going to start red repping you every fucking week

I said Miami's D was average at best. Buffalo's and NE's ARE terrible. And I said he had 2 good games after last week, and he had another one today, but it was against Buffalo.

I said the Pats are the only other team that I care about. And the Jets are cocky for not winning anything. Sorry I don't like teams that run their mouth when they have no reason to. Where's their titles? Oh right, back at Joe Namath's house.

I never said the Jets were shit. I've said before they have one of the best D's in the leauge. Doesn't mean I have to like them though.

But continue to be awesome man. I appreciate it. (Y)

Unfortunately I have to spread my rep around before I can red rep him for that ridiculous post.

GO FINS!

So you'd rep me if Mark Sanchez keeps playing at the level he's playing at now? All I said was that I would keep saying Mark Sanchez had a great game when he has a great game (which I see him having more then not). And again, all I want is for the damn kid to admit that Sanchez is playing good.

I said Miami's D was average at best. Buffalo's and NE's ARE terrible. And I said he had 2 good games after last week, and he had another one today, but it was against Buffalo.
SERIOUSLY, DUDE, MIAMI HAS A VERY GOOD DEFENSE. NOT AVERAGE AT BEST. HE RIPPED A GOOD DEFENSE TO SHREDS, BUT SINCE YOU DON'T LIKE THE KID YOU TRY AND DOWNGRADE THE OPPOSING D. WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR MALFUNCTION?

I said the Pats are the only other team that I care about. And the Jets are cocky for not winning anything. Sorry I don't like teams that run their mouth when they have no reason to. Where's their titles? Oh right, back at Joe Namath's house.
They were the 2nd best team in the AFC last season, and the 4th best team in the NFL. So what if they were "only" 9-7, they beat 2 legit playoff teams in January, which is more then most other teams can say. They have every right to be boisterous, since they fixed EVERY hole they had last year (pass-catching runner, another playmaking Wideout, corners not named Revis, pass rushers).

I never said the Jets were shit. I've said before they have one of the best D's in the leauge. Doesn't mean I have to like them though.
You did rep me saying "Jets blow. Sanches Blows. Seriously." So don't tell me you didn't say they suck, when you CLEARLY said weren't good (blow=not good). And I don't want you to like them. I want you to respect them, because they EARNED it.

In Stormtrooper85's defense, I was the one to bring up Mark Sanchez this week, not him.

Besides, he's just defending his QB. Pretty much every week last year I would do the same with Becker over Brees, who Becker CONSTANTLY denied was a top level quarterback. Becker ended up looking like a dumb fuck in that one, and Megatron might be headed down the same path if Sanchez continues to play as well as he has, which he should since the defenses he's playing well against are average quality defenses in the league. I mean, let's face facts... people scream, "But he's not playing a great defense!!!", but exactly how many great defenses are there in the NFL? 5 at MOST, and that's without injuries.

Last year, the Dolphins were 25th in points allowed and 22nd in Yards allowed. They are up this year, but that's only through 3 games, with one of those being against Buffalo. They played well against Minny, although they aren't the same without Rice, and New York torched them. It's too early to see how good they are this year, but judging from last year, they were a poor defense.

So you really think Arizona was the best NFC team in 09 because they got hot at the right time and won the Super Bowl? Fuck no. You think the Giants were really better then New England in 07? Fuck no. They got hot at the right time, and had some breaks go their ways (both Indy and Cincy tanking at the end, otherwise we wouldn't even be having this discussion). I'm pretty sure you don't get medals for making it to the AFC Championship game. They didn't even win their division last year. They got lucky at the right time.

Clearly the first part was to get under your skin. You're a Jets fan. Saying Jets blow = you unhappy. I've said in the NFL thread they have one of the best D's in the leauge.

And I've said Sanchez has had 3 good games. That's all that needs to be said. Is the season over yet? A lot of things can happen with 12 games left. I'll hold out my judgment until then, thank you very much.

Watched bits and pieces of various games yesterday, glad to see McNabb get the win in Philly. NFL Sundays just aren't the same when your team isn't playing though, so I'll be all up in this bitch tonight for MNF. Let's go Pats.
