The Colts defense is rarely better than "above average".
Sly said:Because the entire team wants him to be. Because the entire team thinks he still gives the Vikes the best chance to win.
Using that theory, the WWE should take Cena and Orton out of the main event and put Santino in there.I have a very hard time believing that Jackson could do much worse. If not for the Cowboys they would be the biggest joke in the league. What they have with Favre isn't working. At worst it could not work with Jackson at the helm and at best he's better than Favre. How can they know for sure until they try?
And they've lost their last two, and I haven't heard any commotion about the coach. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, they LIKE their coach.
And have lost two straight, and won those game by playing for a coach they like, I do believe.

At worst, their ratings keep dropping, and at best, Santino becomes the next Hulk Hogan. How can they know for sure until they try?
Seems kind of silly to me, too.
Surely, you mean the Panthers. Dallas has 3 wins under their belt. Hell, even the Bills picked up a 2nd win today allowing Carolina to become the official worst team in the league.
The Panthers weren't early Super Bowl picks either.
No offense to Dallas, but when aren't they "early Superbowl picks". They've constantly had everyone thinking they're better than they are.
Its hard to look at them as less than, even with all the "early predictions" when they haven't been a real Superbowl threat since the 90's.
By this point, I don't think anyone is truly shocked at them not being a Superbowl contending team; its just people are likely more shocked they had a bad offense under Romo and co. early in the season.
The blind hate for Favre is what never ceases to amaze me. If people would quit being so stupid when it comes to Favre, I would probably wouldn't defend him as much.Sly's endless love of Favre never ceases to amaze me.
But you can't deny that over the last couple of years, the WWE ratings have gone down and never rebounded. With your line of thinking, the WWE should be putting Santino in the main-event, just to see what happens. When Cena and Orton in the main event drop them to a far cry from what they consider a success, I'd agree. Favre has the team at a bad record. Cena and Orton have given them success. This would be more like TNA bringing out the same stuff and being surprised when the ratings go up once in awhile and then come tumbling down again slowly.

It's not like we haven't seen Tavarus Jackson before. In fact, the reason the Vikings signed Favre in the first place is because Jackson couldn't get the job done. Now, all of a sudden, he's the answer?
That was a big TD before the Half for the Colts
And when they brought Favre in, they went 13-3 last season. Clearly, Favre's season last year is better than Jackson's season two years ago. And if Rice, Berrian and Harvin had been at full strength, and the defense was playing up to their potential, do you doubt the Vikings would be in the thick of the NFC North race?Jackson got them to the playoffs in his last season as a starter. That's better than what Favre is doing this season. It's not like Jackson was a total bust. He went 8-4 one year and then got them to the playoffs the next. He has a decent record in the NFL so it's not like they're throwing some rookie or guy that has never done anything at all to the wolves.
