"I didn't know how fast I was going to recover but I just did everything from ultrasound to blood letting where they draw blood out with cupping. I did that for like three weeks straight. I've kicked a couple of training partners in the head and that hurt but was ok. I'm hoping by fight time I'll be 100%. Definitely if this fight wasn't in Macau, China, even if I was in a main event somewhere else, I'd give myself the right amount of time so my foot could really heal. I feel like martial arts basically started from China and my roots are the Chinese martial arts. This is why I do it. I could just be doing movies, but I love to compete. I love to train martial arts. This is what I love to do. Here's my opportunity. To do it in China, it's awesome.

Guy, all that shit you posted is completely irrelevent. Do you not realize who has a fight this month? It's the only thing that matters....

Typically this is where I would razz you and bust your balls about Gomi losing but I can't even do that in good conscience because come on, he's fighting Mac Danzig

I hope you're right man, I wanna see that and have Bonnar go out on a win in their rubber match. Then again I got what I asked for with Forrest and Tito, that didnt end well.

:lmao:

So Stephan and Herman both got flagged for illegal substances at 153. I assume Bonnar's is chalked up to TRT and Herman's was Pot. Can we please not suspend and fine guys for something that is not a performance enhancer?

Bonnar got flagged for an anabolic steroid, not elevated testosterone. As for Herman, he should be both cut and suspended. No matter your personal views on pot, it is illegal. You smoke it before your fight, with full knowledge it is illegal, you deserve to get suspended.

Sergio Pettis (Anthony Pettis little brother) fight just ended and he looked fantastic. Only 19-years-old. He definitely has a very bright future ahead of him.

Tyrone Spong looked phenomenal as expected tonight.

Man, if he's really developing a decent ground game and good TDD, I really see him being a future UFC Heavyweight Champion. That dude is a fucking MONSTER.

Yes he did, he has incredible potential in the cage if he is covered on the ground. Happy to see Arlovski pick up another win. Just hope Johnson can keep his shit up and stick to an ideal weight.

So, Bellator is trying to get interactive, by letting fans vote on the first fight the promotion will air on Spike.

“Vote for the Fight” is a “web series” that premieres Thursday at Spike.com. It will follow four of the promotion’s top welterweights, and fans then can vote for the fight they want to see in the Season 8 premiere’s opening fight in January. Paul Daley, Ben Saunders, Douglas Lima and Jon “War Machine” Koppenhaver are the four fighters profiled in the web series and on the ballot.

I'm all for seeing War Machine get decapitated and seeing funny fights, so let's stuff the ballot for Daley vs. War Machine!

Belfort vs Bisping is official for an FX card in January.

Bisping has looked great lately but this is still a dangerous matchup for him. He has a tendency to leave himself wide open.

I haven't watched an episode of TUF this season (thank God), but it looks like one good thing from this absolutely pathetic piece of shit show: MMA has a new meme.

There better be a huge co-main event because any and all MM fights will lose fans.

For those who don't realize, the prelims for Saturday's UFC on Fuel show start at 6 AM Central. The main show on Fuel starts at 8 AM Central.

I'm definitely getting up early to watch. I know Takanori Gomi isn't what he's used to be, but he's still my 2nd favorite fighter of all time and I can't help but get absolutely pumped whenever he fights. I also dig the idea of getting up early to watch MMA... takes me back to my childhood days when I would get up early on a Saturday just to watch wrestling and cartoons.

Hatsu Hioki vs Clay Guida has been added to UFC on Fox 6. Well, looks like another loss for Hioki.

Hioki's going to clown that douchebag. Guida will be overly aggressive after the shitfest he put on against Maynard and it'll cost him big time.
