Rivers also doesn't even have a running game and you also have to give credit to Norv turner for some of those big plays the chargers make. he does a good job designing plays to get guys wide open. he was an offensive genius before becoming a head coach.

kyle orton and rivers are good qbs, but those passing yards they're getting are a bit skewed given the situation

Stewart was blasted by a helmet-to-hemlet hit from Sharper, but no flag was thrown. Stewart fumbled the ball on the way to the ground - and they stopped because Stewart was motionless (ultimately helped off the field), upon returning from break - NO's had challenged the play because of the fumble.

On the replay, the slow-motion replay mind you, they showed the huge (illegal) hit, and yet awarded NO's the ball - still with no flag.

We're only losing by 11, Matt Moore & Jonathan Stewart have been knocked out of the game w/ injuries (which is actually a plus, at this point) and our Defense has only allowed Brees to get 2 TDs so far with the half coming up.

So.. better than normal, as far as this year's concerned.

Honestly though.. 1 of the 2 TDs NO's got was off that BS challenge in which Sharper had that illegal hit, which caused a fumble, and yet they failed to see it even in slow motion - but I can almost bet a fine will be given out come Monday/Tuesday.
