TNA Ask a Question Thread

Bubba The Love Sponge posted the following comments on his official Twitter page after last night's three-hour TNA Impact special on Spike TV:

"I want to apologize to each and every fan that got fucked with and turned away and talked down to today at tna trust me Dixie Carter would be as upset as I am if and when she finds out. If there is one thing I did learn it's she's a very very remarkable and honest business woman. I don't know what my future holds with tna right now but I'll never speak a bad word about Dixie. Again I'm sorry. Please forgive me."

Then he followed it up saying he was lied to. Does anyone know why he is so upset?

Apparently somebody in TNA told him to give out 2,000 VIP passes or something, and I'm guessing he did, and the VIPs got turned away at the door, couldn't enter the building.

Which is surprising since Foley, Hall, Xpac and Nasties all got in so security couldn't have been that great ;)

Yup. That's pretty much what happened. TNA asked him to give out 2000 VIP passes, he was on the air at the time he was supposed to hand them out so he hired a street team out of his own pocket to go hand them out, hyped them up really big, and then all "Bubba Passes" were rejected at the door.

It's going to be a replay of Monday. I think it's going to be a replay of all three hours, not just the regular two.

This impact onThursday is a new episode.

Regarding nWo and the Kliq.

nWo is copyrighted to WWE with regards to sports entertainment, the Kliq is not.

This impact onThursday is a new episode.

The Impact on Thursday (January 7, 2010) is NOT a new episode. It's a replay. There will be a new episode for Impact on January 14, 2010 which is next week. It has already been taped (the taping for it was today) and you can find spoilers for it on the main page.

According to TV Guide (http://www.tvguide.com/listings/default.aspx), the description for the episode on Thursday says that Hulk Hogan makes his first appearance which has obviously happened already. I'm guessing the main page got the date wrong because every other website I've been to is saying that the episode that was taped tonight is for next week.

Who is really running TNA right now? Is it Dixie Carter and a board or does Jeff Jarrett still run the show, is that whole Karen Angle thing part of a storyline?

I'm not sure anyone really knows the specifics of it.

Dixie is indeed the "President", but Hogan and Bischoff have a lot of power, and Dixie's father is actually the majority owner.

I apologize if I'm repeating a question, but my Big Brother continually verbally rips Mick Foley to shreds on a daily basis. I think he believes foley soley is responsible 4 all the booking and storylines. If you could provide some clarity on the "TEAM" that handles either of these I'd appreciate it.

Thanks guys!

Foley was making all the decisions, but only kayfabe-wise. His role was similar to what the GM was/is on RAW.

The peole really making the decisions right now, are Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff mainly, with Vince Russo doing most of the writing.

Hope that helps.

Was Diamond Dallas Page's time in TNA worth remembering? I remember he had a world title match at Destination X 2005 against Jarrett, but I didn't watch TNA regularly back then so I don't know what happened to him after that.

Whether or not his time there was "worth" anything is subjective.

He ran a program with the Kings of Wrestling, and he worked with 3 Live Kru a little, but he never main evented a pay-per-view or won any gold. If you're a fan, there's some matches to watch, and some good promos, but if you're not, it's just more DDP in a wrestling ring.

Thanks, NSL! Yeah I am a fan of DDP. I loved this guy when I was a kid. That's why I asked.

I've read a lot about TNA not showing PPV's on Bravo 2 anymore. Is this true? I want to throw my remote at the TV out of frustration because if it is true then it is a shocking decision. I can't find it on the current Sky programme listings.

If so, what are the curremt options for watching TNA PPV's. BT Vision? BS...

Will we see the release of half of the origional tna roster to make room hogans wrestling buddies?

This thread is for closed questions only, as in ones that have a definite answer. There is no way to know for sure, but I would guess no. That would be crazy and dumb.

I just found out what a WWE grand slam champ was and I was wondering is there such thing as a TNA grand slam champ?
