lol sorry guys, i must sound like an idiot, but if smackdown was taped before ecw how come there arnet any spoilers?

Does anyone remember several years ago, back around the time of a MLB strike, that the WWE was beginning to introduce a ridiculous looking character with a baseball theme, but I assume the storyline was nized when the MLB strike occurred.

He was obviously going to be a heel character, and in his promos he used to verbally deride the baseball stars of the time.

Does anyone know who this guy was, and what ever became of him? Did he surface, either in WWE or elsewhere, with a new gimmick, or was he just some new guy who never made it to the business afterall?

Also, can anyone tell me, did anyone other than Glen Jacobs ever play the character of Kane? Years ago, when he still had the mask and the hair, he seemed to have a different build than the Kane of today. Especially after he disappeared for a while and then re-surfaced again. He seemed to be bigger than Kane is today. I thought this before, and just recently I was watching footage of a Royal Rumble from years ago, and I thought the same thing. Yet I'm told that Kane has only ever been portrayed by the one guy, the same guy portraying Kane today.

Does anyone know?

Glen Jacobs Played, Isaac Yankem DDS and a couple of minor roles at a survivor series. As for the guy you are talking about that is the king of all Jobbers Steve Lombardi better known to everyone as The Brooklyn Brawler. The Gimmick he played was MVP as well as Abe "Knuckleball" Scwartz. I think they were one in the same but Im not sure. And as to your other Question in there Steve Lombardi is the King of the Jobbers as he has been a jobber all of his career except when he randomly one a battle royal to take on Shawn Michaels for the Title on an episode of RAW.

Alot of people thought that the WWE brought in a new Kane when he made his return. But the truth is that Glen Jacobs has always played Kane. What happen was when Glen took some time off he got very very sick and lost alot of weight. So when he did return with his new attire(the tiny mask and sleeveless top)you could really tell how much weight he had lost. But to answer your question Glen Jacobs has always been Kane.

I beliee that there will be i mean with the recent divorce from his wife i am sure vinnie mac is tryin to get him bak because imo they really need him or jericho back right now

From a on paper stand point, The Rock has said time and time again that he has no plans of returning to wrestling. So in an opinion it could happen, but from countless interviews and countless times being asked if he will return, it seems unlikely.

hi everyone:
in ecw taz once had that title ...i dont know.....ftw title or something .....what is the story about it?
thanks

Taz created the FTW Heavyweight Championship in 1998 because he was Frustrated by his inability to win the ECW World Heavyweight Championship from Shane Douglas, who was at the time absent and refusing to face him, Taz created and defended his own World title, billing himself as the "real" World champion. It was also known as the Brooklyn World Championship.

Yes, the show did go on. That's why there is so much controvesy surrounding his death.

I'm guessing it got caught on camera, but probably got destroyed afterwards. There is no record of it on the internet, although some claim, the New Jack/Vic Grimes incident at an XPW show is Owen's death.

That wasn't ever actually caught on tape apparently. JR and King were talking to the camera as it happened, which is a very good thing.

And extremely controversially, the show did go on, and even more saddening was the fact that 'the Deadman' won the title that night. They got a lot of heat for keeping the show going, and after it happened, they basically just got him out of the arena quickly, and actually went on with the show.

When did he actually die then? was it in the arena or later in hospital. Thats sick if he was dead in the arena.

Also, How come the Punjabi prison match was between Taker and Big show? I thought it was supposed to be Taker and Khali??

Owen was announced dead on the ride to the hospital. His last words were to Jerry Lawler in the ring telling him to tell his wife and kid that he loved them.

In anther bad move by the wwe to keep the show going was they used the excuse that Owen was a show man and brought up his match aganist stone cold as an example that Owen would want the show to go on. But the truth was that Owen was outraged that they wanted Austin to try and keep wrestling with a broken neck.

Khali was taken out because some elevated Enzyme problem on his liver, the storyline was that Khali was suspended for assaulting the Undertaker before the match took action, Big Show witnessed all the action and Teddy Long ordered him to take Khali's place.

Just like to ask 2 questions if its not allowed sorry.
1. Now that Roddy Pipper is getting back to health will we see him on WWE again
2. I heard the ECW Tag titles might be revived sometimes not soon but in the future is there a posiblilty of this happening

1. Piper may be getting better but he is in no shape to be a part time wrestler. Right now he will be only used in guest appearances and when they need Pipes crazy antics in the ring. But he will be there but only for a special appearance.

2. They have talk about getting ECW tag belts with Dusty pushing for it, but right now it still in the beginning phase. I doubt it will happen as ECW is only an hour and there are no real tag teams
