NFL Week 8 LD.

Washington's secondary is a turnover machine. The Lions DO have Stafford and Johnson (no doubt they're a big threat), but I'm confident that their run game will definitely be hampered by the 'Skins. If the Lions's O-line is even the least bit porous, then I see this being a good day for Washington.

According to nfl.com, McNabb has a better passer rating against Detroit than any other team he's faced. The only problem with that, is that was when he was an Eagle - with different weapons, against different Defensive players.

With each passing year, teams upgrade/downgrade/change overall. So I find it amusing when people claim selective teams will do good/bad against others, simply because they've done so in the past.

nfl.com is saying McNabb is going to have a huge game, simply because he's been so dominate against Detroit so much in the past. I don't buy it. Detroit's Defense is better this year than they were last year. McNabb has been hit or miss with Washington, and still hasn't found a solid middle ground.

The keys to victory for Washington here are as follows.

(1.) Run the ball - Torain is good enough to be your winner here. Detroit sucks against the run.

(2.) Defend the pass. If I'm Washington, I could honestly care less if Best kills us rushing. It's Calvin Johnson and the dynamic passing attack that's the true threat. Keep the ball from finding WRs and you win the game. Pretty simple as that.

Since my Falcons aren't playing this week, I've got nothing to focus on but my fantasy teams in which one of them have Ryan Fitzpatrick as my starting qb damn why did Romo have to get hurt. I don't like the Cowboys but Romo was putting up some numbers for my fantasy team.

Carolina's Defense on the first series caused a beautiful 3-out. Bradford couldn't do anything, and has negative yards passing.

Carolina's 1st play on Offense is a flee-flicker for an INT.

St. Louis was in FG range to begin with, and the Panthers D continued to stay stout, knocking them back - helping them to miss a 50+ yd attempt.

I swear, that INT better be out of Moore's system now. I'm begging Carolina to (for once) start a damn game and actually play like you want to do something other than cause me to break the stuff around me.

Thankfully, I have the NFL ticket b/c people in this area will only see DEN/SF on CBS but not me. I guess I'll stick to MIA/CIN or GB/NYJ.

How were you not playing Fitzpatrick to begin with? Fitz > Romo in fantasy points.

Awesome. Found a stream. Bad quality, but better then nothing.

And the D-Line has been all over McNabb early. hopefully it continues.

A flea flicker on the first play for your offense? Well that's gutsy to say the least. Cincinatti just scored a TD with the Palmer to T.O. connection.

Actually, it was a very smart idea. EVERYONE who plays us loads up the box and plays 9 guys to the run. Leaving one-on-one coverage on our WRs.

He had David Gettis wide open, deep; but for some reason (*cough* the fucking O. Coord *cough*) he was more interested in throwing to Smith, who had a guy over top of him and underneath him. Had he of lofted it deep, it'd be 6.

I'm a fan of the trick plays when they actually work of course but the Jacksonville Jaguars just easily drove on down the field on 5 plays 63 yards and end it with a 10 yard TD from Garrard to Sims-Walker. I swear if they beat the Cowboys today :lmao:

Kitna's only thrown 1 inc. 5/6 for 45 yds. Decent numbers, but it seems as if he isn't trying down field so far. Also, the RBs for Dallas need to discover how to run.

WTF! Directv's stat tracker has..

Matt Moore - 1/2 4 yds & 1 INT
Jimmy Clausen - 0/1 & 1 INT

:lmao: Do they know something I don't? Clausen hasn't been in, and we just sacked St. Louis and got the ball back. LOL

What the fuck is with all the trick plays, Carolina?! First play of the game - Flee Flicker. 2 series later, double end around.

It was Felix's fault on that INT though but how can you let the Jaguars offense look that good no wait how can you let their PASSING offense look that good?

Yeah remember when we were talking earlier and I said Kitna may be the best thing to happen to Dalls this year... yeah I think I'm going to take that back:lmao:

:( Remember when I said I benched Schaub in favor of Kitna, because Jacksonville sucks against the pass and the Texans will likely try to run against Indy? Kinda regretting that right now, too.

By the way, St. Louis is wearing throwback Yellow & Blue, and it's apparently "Isaac Bruce Day". Why the hell do they have to stack the odds against us like that? :lmao:
