Live Discussion - TNA 1/4/2010

It's not going to be Shane McMahon. There would be ZERO point in Shane McMahon going to TNA. If he wanted to do wrestling, he would have stayed in the WWE, and made a LOT more money, and had a LOT more influence on the product.

It's obviously....nevermind. :)

Let's see, TNA has already shown Jeff Hardy and Ric Flair, two huge names to wrestling fans, promised some skin from three of the hottest women on the planet, Hogan is coming. Yes, they've won people over.

Anyone who tuned in expecting a wrestling show didn't think too hard about it.

I'm starting to expect another limo to come out of the limo with Hogan down from the rafters, Sting style just to swerve us.

Quick questions:

1) Has TNA won anyone over yet?

2) Have they made the 'Impact' that they need to?

It hasn't turned me from Raw tonight, none of these "returns" are as big as Hart to me. But this was my first time watching TNA and they've made me sorta curious to tune in in the future, the only problem is I'm usually not free on Thursdays.

So it's 10 minutes till Raw. Anyone switching over?

Nope. TNA all night for me thanks, they need my ratings a thousand times more than the WWE does. That and aside from Bret Hart Raw is going to be it's usual awful-ness. I'd rather see the 90th NWO reunion than one more fucking segment with Hornswoggle.

Oh man Hall is bombed.

3 commercials in 8 minutes. That has to be a record. I hope they're doing something to keep the fans conscious.

Honestly, the show hasn't been that good... but I havn't enjoyed an evening of wrestling this much in years.
Not knowing what is going to happen next is such a rare luxuary in pro wrestling... and I absolutly cannot wait to find out.

The one thing that's really coming across to me as being better than the WWE is the energy. In comparison the WWE looks really sedate, I guess that's what happens when you fill your crowd with kids.

I'm guessing all of the commercials are so they can go with a LOT fewer commercials in the main two hour head-to-head battle with Raw.
