This one may be a bit technical, or maybe I am thinking to hard about it...How does Shawn Michaels get the "pop" when he does Sweet Chin Music? Does he really hit them on the cheek, and just times it perfectly or what?

Does anyone know the story on Val Venis? I've been watching him do the j-o-b on Heat a lot lately and I was just wondering if WWE has any plans for him beyond that. I've always enjoyed watching him work in the ring, he's not real flashy and has fairly good mat skills, and I've always loved the Money Shot finisher for some reason or another. He always seems to get a pretty big pop when he makes an appearance and as a former 2 time Intercontinental Champion and 1 time European Champion, its not like he doesn't have credentials. Hell, he might just be content to help the younger guys improve on their way to the top. I was just wondering if there was an explanation beyond it just being his personal preference to take a lighter work load and help the young guys. Thanks for any input.

Well Val Venis is pretty much dead to VKM at this point. The only time you'll ever see him is on Heat or backstage on RAW doing random ass things.

I too have always liked Val's style ever since his debut back in '98. I still distinctly remember an awesome match he had with D'Lo Brown at Summerslam 98, truly an underrated match that always got me pumped up whenever I popped that tape in.

I think the reason he's not really on TV anymore is simply because Vince has run out of ideas for him. All of this I think can be traced back to when he changed his gimmick to Morley, the suck up assistant boss. That gimmick just killed him, where the hell was he going to go after that? Sad really cause the guy's only been wrestling for about ten years, and thats pretty short compared to most of the WWE roster.

does anybody know for sure about the whole underataker injury story? i was suppose to go to Summerslam and he's my favorite wrestler so i wanted to see him as champ for the first time in years now he might not even be there at all and might start thinking about retiring earlier

Yes it's definately a true story and not a fake Deadman741. Taker is injured pretty damn badly and will definately be out for anywhere from 6-10 months. Sorry that you can't see him at SS now mate.

How do you PM someone?

Once you have got 10 posts you will have permission to do so. The system may take a little while to be updated though, couple hours, tops.

Though, this is the wrong 'ask a question' thread. :p

I doubt it. I dont think they would just film one hour of ECW. Unless they taped it on Monday or did a few episodes in advance. They probably just haven't had anyone send them in.

Okay, I have two questions.

1. Do you think it hurts Undertaker's eyes when he does the rolling back thing? I can't do it as far back as him, but it hurts when I do it :D

2. Which came first, the Rock Bottom or the Bookend?

I doubt it i can do it,I wouldnt think he'd do it if it hurt. And i think the rock bottom was first.

A) It doesn't hurt me when I do it.

B) Rock Bottom. WCW went through a stage of ''borrowing'' WWE finishers. Disco Inferno had the stunner, Juvi had the peoples elbow etc.

It's to fill up time. In America they have ads ever 5 or so minutes. In England there generally every 15 minutes. So they need to plug the gap.

Wow, i bet its hella annoying to watch something and for it to have ad breaks every 5 mins. In fact, watching Raw Live on SS3 is bad enough!

Does a superstar have a say in their gimmick? And do they choose whether they are a heel of face or do other higher powers do that?

Unless they have creative control I don't think they have control over the gimmick. Bookers choose whether they are face or Heel. I think that Wrestlers have some say in their gimmick like saying how far they can go in terms of religious beliefs, like Shawn Michaels. But on the whole I don't think that the Wrestlers have much say when it comes to their gimmick in WWE or TNA, but in the Indies there is some latitude for the gimmick being on the Wrestler.

Wat is up with the wwe making a show that is not televised so important ot the story line? Last tuesday smackdown! was in pittsburg and they has a steel cage match for the heavyweight championship! Not only that, they had mark henry's return and the has edge cash in money in the bank and become the new world heavy weight chapion. How could they let this much happen on a non-televised show? usualy you don't even here about those shows becasue they usualyl dont have any effect on the 'normal' shows

It's called taping. Smackdown is taped on Tuesdays.

You're going to have a rough time here, I can tell.
