NFL Week 12 LD

Go Chagas GO!

This might be the end of the line for Indy. They're lucky that the division is full of a bunch of average teams. the injuries have been too much of a burden.

Fuck you, Vincent Jackson, you piece of shit. It's such a good thing I had my game locked up before deciding to take a chance on your worthless ass.

Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my Gridiron League - in which I replaced Maclin for you; and he actually got points through another week.

Also, illegal hits (which, helmet to helmet's are) or not - ever since his so-called "unfair fines" all Harrison's managed to do is bitch, whine and complain.

Maybe if he'd just shut the hell up, play the damn game like (ya know) every other player getting paid (probably less than him); maybe he'd have more fun and not end up in the locker room crying on some guy's shoulder about how unfair the league is to him.

Fuck you. It could be worse. At least the other team had to make a play, unlike having your STAR WIDE RECEIVER bring in game winning TD inside 2 minutes only to intentionally drop it, forcing a good incomplete call and a Lions loss. I know you'll enjoy that

You're making shots at the Lions? Who doesn't?

And I knew the season was over once Stafford went out. I'm not bothered by losses here late in the season. Nice try, though.

I suddenly feel so much better about my decision to drop him:lmao:

He, from what I read, was injured. I have enough back-up WRs in that league that it won't hurt me. Assuming, of course, I know to bench him before the game.

If he's good to go next week, I'll consider starting him again since they play Oakland. And he'll come in handy, should I make the playoffs. As they play Cinci.

Still, this is pretty much what he gets for sitting out over half of the season.

Wayne needs to stop dropping passes, that shit is killing me

and the Insayne Asylum is going to lose by 18 pts., had I started Manningham (15 pts.), & Keller(9 pts.) instead of Floyd (0 pts.), & Crapnandez (2 pts.) I would have won:disappointed:

While I'm not a Chargers fan, I have to say I'm rather glad Peyton just tossed up a 4th pick. His garbage throwing here in the final minutes was fucking with my distance over my opponent. That -2 pts is gonna help take care of any crap he got over the course of the past 2 minutes.

Ah the sweetness of being one of the Top 4 teams once again in my money league. And if things shake out the right way, I may just be the top team going in.

I feel your pain, go figure Carolina would actually show up with an offense when we decide to go for the matchup start rather than the better defenses overall.

Jake Delhomme was named the starter on Tuesday or Wednesday. Assuming you planned on either the Giants or a mystery team, I'm purely assuming you just overlooked Delhomme as a starter.

Carolina's Defense, from a stand-point of which one got more plays, out-performed Cleveland's. Soooo glad I went with Carolina this week. They'll be dropped A.S.A.P. now. :lmao:

EDIT: On second thought, Carolina plays Seattle next week. That may be another decent match-up for us.

Well I'm stuck with the Giants D and the Browns D from here on out. No more pickups, but honestly there was nothing worth picking up otherwise, so I'm gonna roll with the Giants and pray they can get back to being good again.

Nobody is saying the Pats were gonna blow the Jets out. Most people are saying the Pats will win because it's A) at NE and B) Brady's playing at his best. Nobody said it was gonna be a blow out. No idea where you got that from.
Point me to where I said everyone is saying it'll be a blowout. I never once did. All I said is that everyone is saying that New England is gonna win, and no one is giving the Jets a chance at winning. That doesn't mean blowout.

Oh, and Will, Claussen will be good for Carolina eventually. He's an early entry into the Draft. Most every early entry QB struggles early. Give him time, and Carolina will have a great QB. And yes, I'm saying that because I'm a Notre Dame fan and am rooting for him to succeed. However, I also saw him play in college a shitload, and think he will be very successful.

Certainly have a good set of match-ups coming up.

Washington
Minnesota
Philly
Green Bay
.....

Meanwhile, Cleveland is

Miami
Buffalo
Cinci
Baltimore

Looks like Giants should get a start against Washington, then benched in favor of Cleveland taking on Buffalo & Cinci. (unless you believe NY will find a way to not fail massively to MN, like they always have late in every season they meet.)

I'm fucked next week. I have Flacco and Baltimore's defense, Mendenhall, and Miller. I don't know whether to bench Baltimore or start them. I want the Steelers to do bad and good at the same time.

We'll be picking up the 1st overall Draft pick. While I'd say use it and replace Julius Peppers.. the fact is, trading down for multiple picks and completely rebuilding all over is a better idea.

We NEED a 1st round WR, one that won't shit on us like every other mid-round WR has. We NEED some DE/DT's.. but the ones we have can work. The fact is, our Defense has been great this year. They've kept us in every single game; and if our Offense could've managed to move the ball even remotely in any of these games - we'd have a better record.

Clausen has shown change, and even admits when he was pushed into starting earlier this year that he was scared and shaken. He said he felt better for today's game, and had it not been for a missed FG - would've had his 1st victory, and 1st comeback all in one.

In other words, you'd absolutely LOVE to see Mendenhall and Flacco get 2-3 TDs a piece.. yet also, equally love to see Big Ben toss up 2 possible return TDs to that Baltimore D, only to drive a comeback with Miller getting 80+ yds and a TD to win them the game?

Seattle will likely win the next two, they're occasionally a good team, especially nwhen at home, and with Hasslebeck at QB

I'd rather have Flacco and Mendenhall have big games. I'm not that fussed about defensive points. I'll probably start SD since they have been better this season.

Well Favre will likely be looking for a new team to join after training camp next season now that he's said he's done with the Vikes after this season:lmao:

Agreed. However, it's nearly impossible to trade down in the draft. This year might be the best chance, since Draft people are supposedly grading Andrew Luck as high as anyone since Peyton Manning.

If you can't trade down, you don't want to draft a WR first overall... I can't recall the last time that worked out. What's the Left Tackle situation like? Or a Pass Rushing Defensive End.

I'm not surprised Claussen was a bit rattled when he first came in. He's a kid still, and he was put in a no-win situation by QBing a bad team.
