MMA June - 50 Shades of Gray

Fuckin pissed Brian's out of the main event, he was the whole reason I'm going to that card, but I do want to see Lombard vs Silva so now I can see that without Brian havin to lose.

I agree, Struve vs Lesnar would be amazing. Roy vs Lesnar would be good, I'd actually pick Roy on that one. And not interested in Carwin vs Brock 2.

Shogun successfully ducks Glover Teixiera, and he'll main event UFC on Fox 4 against..................................................................................

Brandon Vera.

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. I'm so glad Joe Silva hates Brandon Vera as much as any normal, sane person would.

I wish I was.

Doesn't make any sense, Machida's on that card. Shogun vs. Machida III would be a fine main event for UFC on Fox 4 while Bader could have destroyed Vera to keep busy.

That is such an underwhelming main event, and won't help the Fox rating one bit. Fuck you could have done Phil Davis vs Shogun and id be more excited.

As a massive Shogun fan I actually don't mind him getting a showcase fight on Fox. He'll murder Vera and it'll be fun to watch and hopefully bring Shogun a new stable of fans.

I'm happy with the fight. Say what you will about Vera, but the dude can strike and Shogun is a guy who will strike with him. There is no way this fight is boring and that's what the UFC needs on Fox, exciting fights that will leave fans happy. No way this fight is boring

I just think it'll end too fast and then thats it. It'll be nice to see Shogun just destroy him but I'd have like to see a closely fought war like Stann-Lombard would have been or Shogun-Machida 3 could have been.

On my phone so I can't edit, but JW, just because you hate Vera doesn't mean you should shit on this fight. Davis/Shogun would be one takedown after another an be an utterly boring fight. Here, we see two high level strikers slug it out in what will undoubtly be a hella exciting fight. People will shit on the matchup because everybody hates Vera, but there is no way this fight will bore anybody.

Oh I agree it'll be an entertaining fight but my problem with it is that it's more of a step down than I'd like to see for Shogun. Sure I don't like Vera much but that's not my issue at all, I just wanna see Shogun facing guys closer to his position in the division.

Well, he turned down Glover who is the only top guy without a fight, and I think we all agree that fight would have been an absolute war.

Bisping was goin to replace Stann, but he is also injured so Boetsch stepped up and is fighting Lombard at 149.

Honestly, Boetsch is no better than any bum Lombard beat in Bellator.

But, no complaints. Lombard should have a gimme fight for his debut.

I think Boetsch has potential at 185. He has the win over Okami, granted he did get his ass beat for about 11 straight minutes in that one before pulling off that flash KO, and has looked solid in his other fights. I think it could be good, though I would have rather witnessed Bisping lose cause that never gets old

Nah, Boetsch is pretty much a scrub. He got tooled on the feet by Okami. Boetsch ha a good judo game, Lombard had a great Judo game. Boetsch has decent power and sloppy striking, Lombard has HUGE power and better striking. I don't see how Bortsch has anything for Lombard.

I'd have loved to see Bisping vs Lombard but it'll still probably happen next for Hector. As for the Boetsch fight itll still be a good one, Tim's good at everything Hector is but Lombard is miles away better at all those aspects. Really wish they'd kept Hector on the Fox 4 card tho.

Just bought my ticket for 148, so fuckin stoked I get to see Tito's last fight Cote's return and Chael whoopin ass.

Check ticket liquidator guy, that's where I've gotten tickets to the last two for decent prices. We're getting 4 for 320 at the very front of the top section. It sounds like its not worth the money but the MGM isnt huge so anywhere you sit you'll have decent seats. If you go for it get section 202 ;)

Dude the main card has been incredible, my boys Eddie and Mike got killer KO's and Erick Silva continues to impress me, love it!

Some weird scores on the undercard but the main card has been very entertaining, very fast paced. I'm by no means a Just Bleed fan but who doesn't like to see a main card full of finishes?

I still got mad love for The Creep. The guy embodied what every fighter should strive to be, this is just a minor setback. Feed him Dodson next
