This summer has some STACKED cards man. I think it's like, over 5 weeks there is four shows or something of the sorts. As for Lombard, I know i'm not Jon, but i think he'd be borderline top 5. Hard to tell with the shitty competition he's been facing, but he has enormous potential. I think Anderson would kill him but he would do well.

If Okami gives Anderson trouble then I see no reason why Lombard couldn't beat Silva.
I guess it would all really depend on if Lombard goes into the fight as a wrestler first and striker second. He is big enough to hold Silva down, but I don't know how good he is at defending submissions from on top. I would love to see the fight happen though. As much as I love Bellator I want to see how their best guys, Lombard and Alvarez, do in a deeper pool of talent such as the UFC.
Maybe because Lombard has been fighting people borderline top 20 and is as unproven as any fighter in MMA. Just because he has potential doesn't mean he will live up to it. Before we talk about him having a chance against Silva, let's see how he does against somebody with some skill.

I think Herman has a real decent chance of winning. JOE hasn't fought in like 5 years and has a flesh-eating disease he suffers from... it's hard to say who will win, I've never seen either guy fight. Herman brings a good record and being a Heavyweight Champion of Sengoku to the table though.
In other news, Big Nog returns at UFC: Rio against Brendan Schaub. My head says Schaub wins considering he hits very hard and Nog's chin has been very suspect, but my heart says Nogueira wins, considering that Gonzaga nearly stole the fight against Schaub in the last 45 seconds when he remembered he was a BJJ wizard.
