EC–err TNA LD for 07/22

And that's it.

Dreamer hated all of the ECW stuff, but he didn't mind winning the ECW Title in front of 10,000 people and getting the huge paychecks did he?

And I believe he just wasn't resigned, not that he quit.

Oh give me a break.

Raven never was in the WWECW, Richards was there for like a day, Rhyno was in TNA the whole time, Dreamer got a rebirth of it, and Foley was there for One Night Stand and that was it.

This is a damn joke.

WWECW was pathetic.
Highest rated show on Sci Fi.

Created new stars and sent MANY people over to the big brands with a tonne of momentum.

Maintained the best midcard belt in wrestling.

Had the best televised wrestling of the week more times than not.

Saved money because it would travel with SmackDown.

And the cons?

I love Tommy, but I can't buy what he was selling there. If he hated WWECW so much how could have left. It was pretty clear early on that it wasn't going to be the same and if it was horrible to him, he should have just made sure the door didn't hit him on the way out

In all honesty, I'm a WWE guy, but what I saw tonight was actually quite good. I think I'll tune in next week. I'm gonna watch Scrubs now.

It retained the ECW name and did absolutely nothing extreme.

So wait.....

None of those five got fired, Snow, Diamond and the other agent have jobs in TNA now......WHO IS THIS SHOW FOR?

It wasn't "the real ECW", or at least what people have taken to believe the "real ECW" was. It wasn't about barbed wire and fires and extraordinarily stupid stunts. It had a little of that, but not a sickening level, so it wasn't "extreme enough". Personally, I think it evolved and did a great job with guys like Morrison, Miz, Punk, Lashley etc at giving them TV time to develop, but that's not a good thing, now is it?
