All the Rock needs to do is come out and show on the Titantron examples of a Rock promo, and a Cena promo.

Rock was saying a bunch of lame things like Kung Pow and lady parts and more stupid things that the people eat up for some reason. Cena came in and got in his face to tell him he was going to kick his as at mania. Rock stood there quietly and took it. Cena left and suddenly Rock wasn't in such a playful mood anymore.
I didn't catch the show tonight....but with a username like yours I'll assume Cena was dead serious about that
Everyone thinks Rock is this fantastic promo guy, he's not. 99% of his promos were written for him, he just had the charisma to pull them off. When he's just given free reign, like tonight, to say what he wants because he's The Rock...it blows chunks. Has done since, since his first return last year or something. If they didn't just allow him to go out and spew nonsense about Twitter and make shit up on the fly...and give him concrete bullet points, he'd have been awesome.

Why? If he goes to something different (something Cena hasn't done, either), it might not be as effective. If that happens, it's possible Cena will pick up some support, and everything in the world will be cupcakes and roses
Not sure if you've ever performed in front of a live crowd, but it's not easy, especially when you haven't done so on a consistent basis for nearly a decade. If a few notes on the wrist help him be as entertaining as he was tonight, I hope he fills up his entire fucking arm next week.

I agree. I think when Cena called him out on the notes on his wrist, he lost a bit of his edge. If that was a work, and Dwayne meant for me to get that, he's a better actor than I've ever given him credit for.

Good episode of Raw. I like the Cody/Show angle, that's going to be some solid stuff. The Teddly/JL feud skyrocketed tonight, and actually feels like a big deal. Glad we didn't see any Taker/HHH, only so much they can say to one another week after week.

Yes. Yes, The Rock has sucked at promos for years. It's always been the writers that made The Rock.
That's why they've written so many new stars in the last few years. It's why we're propelling such hot names like Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, and the like into the main event. Clearly, creative i's the realm why Rock has become a star in movies, television, pretty much everything.

I really don't care about twitter. Rock is more popular among the IWC than Cena is. Not a shocking revelation. Of course a good percentage of the IWC thinks Hogan sucked too so pardon me if I don't take their opinion too seriously.
