WWE RAW 4/4/2011 & Hall of Fame LD - You Can Hate Him Now

What exactly is Cena supposed to do for the next twelve months? I guess he can chase a world title to try and add extra spice to his upcoming match...

I have no idea if they're going to be able to do that but if they do.....I'm not sure if it's a good idea.

I know why the Barrett/Corre helped Kane buried Taker now. They belong to the same group of 'random bodies to feed top faces' group of wrestlers.

I guess The Rock and WWE didn't get the memo in time. The Rock is leaving WWE for Hollywood directly after WM27, never to return. It's true all the smarks on here said so. How are they gonna make up for this though?

I can either see Cena winning the title during the year and holding it until the Rumble where Rock would return and cost him the match or Cena would be in the Rumble match and be eliminated by The Rock.

For the record, if they actually try to build this match for a whole year it will be a disaster. It needs to be on the back burner for a minimum of six of the twelve months or people are going to get sick of the program. Let it build itself, don't drown it in premature hype.

They should try and lower it down gradually until maybe SummerSlam and have a segment there. Then again at Survivor Series and then again at the Rumble, where the build proper can begin.

I'm glad that segment ended the way it did. But for a second, I thought holy shit that bigger purpose that Wade Barrett talked about with Nexus was this? Rock is the leader?

Glad that's not the case though

A whole year? The Rock surely is leaving for a long time, but atleast he will work 1 more match.

Wrestlemania 28 IMO may have 3 matches already.

The Rock vs John Cena

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Miz

Triple H vs The Undertaker II

That's what I'm worried about. Way too long to get there and the match will never live up to the hype.

I don't get the concern here.

We all bitch about WWE always rushing things, and here they set-up one of the biggest matches in WWE history a fucking year in advance... it's brilliant. Rock vs. Cena shouldn't happen at Backlash or Summerslam; no, it deserves to go down at Wrestlemania 28, in the same city the Rock played college football in. It's going to be epic, no matter where they go from here as far as the "build" is concerned. The only way this could get ruined is if it rains at 'Mania 28.

It will definitely be on the back burner until November. They will mention it occasionally during Cena matches. Cena also will hold the belt for a while, as that's the best way to keep him busy during the time.

This is the biggest match since Hogan vs. Andre at Wrestlemania 3, I'm just going to put that out there. This is the biggest dream match since that fateful night, and this match alone could turn business around for the WWE in such a way that a whole new wrestling boom could start up again if they play their cards right here.

Average show up until the ending. Thank CHRIST they confirmed the match tonight, otherwise, so many people would have been so pissed off.

You hit pretty close to the head of the nail here. We all bitch about everything being rushed and call for a throwback to the days of old when feuds were built for half a year at the time.

However; without fail, if it shows any sign of actually happening then people are sick to death of the program by the end of the second month. There is simply too much television to persistently hype something like in the old days. People will get turned off. The only way this works is if it is almost completely ignored for at least six months.
