TNA iMPACT! LD for 03.17.11

I don't have a problem with him being the champion. He looks like a bad ass and it looks like he could seriously fuck some people up.

Maybe so, but this is a guy that was last seen being humbled by Beer Money. Now he is a singles champion before Robert Roode. That doesn't bother you?

I dunno, I like the guy (A little bias since I've spoken with him on the phone for a short interview), but you need to build a guy. This came out of nowhere and was earned in a short, lousy match. Hardly a way to get me to believe in him as champion when that belt was held by AJ Styles and Doug Williams about 6 months ago.

The action figures commercial made me sad about Desmond Wolfe. It's such a shame about his injury problems, he's a great wrestler and entertainer. He deserves some kind of television time, even if it is just as an announcer or manager.

That definitely bothers me. I would like Roode and Storm to be fighting for the World Title, which is a push they should have received a long time ago. But they could have done a lot worse.

You know it's bad when the best you can say about a company is that they could've done worse.

Why did Hernandez just whistle? :lmao:

Why would you be standing in the corner for a street fight? What happens if you're not standing there since you can't be DQed?

All I have ever heard about them is that WWE basically owns you and you get almost no money out of it.

It's actually quite the opposite. No idea why you'd think that and if that was the case, don't you think people would avoid a contract like that?

What it is (since it was out there recently regarding Nash), is when you sign a contract for limited appearances, it still allows you to appear on the Indys and do your owning signings and whatever, but your likeness can be used by WWE for merchandising, they can ask you to appear on DVDs and give you a payday for that, and any other WWE endeavors that may suit the guy or girl can be involved. It actually is quite a good deal for guys who can't go in the ring anymore as it allows them to work with WWE for some good benefits.

So, you think Eric Young is kicking himself yet that he couldn't recruit Hernandez all those months ago, but now Hernandez is OK being the racial injustice-touting heel? ;)
