Because he's a complete waste of space. He's washed up and he no showed two high profile match's on P.P.V. The first time when he was supposed to face Jeff Jarrett he supposidley had a heart attack. The second time he was meant to job to Chris Sabin but he apparently pulled a muscle moving furniture.
These excuses were funny. But still not as funny to me as that time on Raw when he tore his knee up by climbing into the ring. Nash would suffer a concussion from a rigorous staring contest.

^It's not that I think he was never a decent performer (even though he only had about six moves total including his finisher), but he was a hell of a personality and that's the reason I still love seeing him on TV. Who would've known that it'd take Nash of all people to help establish character in the X-division? I sure as hell didn't.

You know what I must admit that some not all of the Nash/X-Division skits are funny but I don't think he's helping the division out, I don't know about everyone else but the main reason I tune in to TNA Impact is to see the X-Division stars in action, I think all's they have to do is put these guys in the ring and let them go at it, the Nash promo's are hurting the division more than helping to me because the X-division was the only truly established division in TNA and now thanks to Nash, jackass/dumbass gimmicks, and more they are turnning it into a joke, so in reality I really think the X-Division has taken a step or two back unsted of forward.

I've got a couple of questions

1-what ever happened to the BET thing they were going to do with Truth, and Skipper

2-what ever happened to Elix Skipper?

3-has Abyss ever wrestled under a different name for anothr promotion?

4-is Jeff Jarrett coming back or is he retired now?

I see no one tried to answer your qustions so I will.

1. To the best of my knowledge the idea fell through, it looks like TNA is happy with the team of Hoyt and Killings.

2. He's still on the roster if that's what you mean, i'd assume that the creative team doesn't have any new idea's for him yet, there for you won't see him as much.

3. Now i'm not 100% sure but I think that he and Tomko were tag team partners in OVW with a fat chick named Synn as their manager, if it's not him then they sure do look alike.

4. From what i've read Jeff Jarrett has every intension of coming back but this time as a babyface wrestler, I think he just needed a break from T.V., I know I needed a break from seeing him every week(lol)

Well I hope I helped.

^^^thanx for answering my questions I've been waiting awhile for someone to answer them, and I agree with what you said about needing a break from Jarrett, I'm kinda enjoying the break myself(lol)

Show, it basically comes down to having either interchangeable athletes with zero charisma or drawing power, or working on making some established characters. This is a lot of the main gripe with most non-TNA fans. They think the X-divisioners are useless spot-monkeys who are boring. I personally place crash TV (be it WWE or the new TNA) as secondary to the wrestling and am a smark in that respect. I don't need anything more than a quick promo to highlight a match, and don't really give a $hit about gimmicks and such. A lot of people are the other way around. This is why WWE still has an audience, much to my chagrin. Their wrestling is the worst it's been that I can even remember, but they still draw a 3+ rating every Monday.

I totally agree about wrestling comes first that's finally something we both agree on but i'd be lying if I said I don't enjoy a good promo, one of the things that truely made me love Angle when he first came out was his ability to cut a good/comicial promo it just helped put him over in my opinion, but let's take AJ into consideration as much as I love seeing him compete against anyone him not being effactive of the mic really takes something away from his character of lack there of, don't take that in the wrong way you know what I mean, as far as people calling the X-Division guys spot monkeys, well to tell the true every wrestler is sort of a spot monkey it's apart of their job, but the way "smart fans" use it I disagree most of the guys in the X-Division are great and well rounded wrestlers(even though their is a couple that are exceptions to the rule), the thing about the Nash skit's is like DX and VKM they are childish(although sometimes they're enjoyable)and not really helping any guy in the Division, if it was helping a well deserved guy get over(it might i'm not sure) then i'd be all for it but to me it seems like a waist of time, and last the WWE still has a audience because through all the dumb gimmicks and bad wrestlers their is a match that is just incredible while i'd admit that TNA is more consistant they are not just destorying the WWE in the wrestling department.

^The X-division skits may be a waste of time to you...to others it's something that allows you to look past the flashy moves to actually enjoy their personality for once. A lot of the humor is fast stuff that most marks don't even get, and Nash is very good at subtle humor in that respect. I disagree that they aren't using it to get anyone over. Sonjay is actually getting some much-deserved character development with Nash poking fun at his steroid use, and it's not hard to see that Low Ki is pissed off by the whole thing. The situations look even funnier to me because Low Ki is a definite proponent of kayfabe and goofy stuff like the skits are the furthest thing away from his style. I also think it's funnier to watch him kick the $hit out of people now in the X-division. Even in the VKM and DX skits there is a solid joke every once in a blue moon that gets over even with me. I'd be lying if I didn't say I didn't find the bit with McMahon's limo funny over the summer. The WWE's dumb gimmicks and bad wrestlers have immensely grown in terms of the booking orders in the last few years. Quality isn't procured with the wrestling these days. Instead, most of the "entertainment" aspect is what is focused on and the company has definitely lost steam because of it. Judging PPV to PPV and show to show, I think TNA is kicking WWE's ass hands down. Stronger divisions with stronger wrestling on average spells a quintessential victory to me. That's why I only pay for TNA PPVs anymore and torrent the WWE ones.

I still don't really get your point about the Nash skit's Low Ki had the same character before the skit's he's just getting a chance to show it in a different setting same with the other X-stars they already had characters they just weren't shown that much and now their useing their characters for the Nash skit's the only thing they have done different is 1.give them TV time for character delvelopment and 2. Add Nash, so i'm really missing your point on this.

I agree with you whole heartedly about the WWE's dumb gimmicks and bad/average wrestlers taking over and making the WWE lose steam but the same could be said about TNA right now, as far as judging PPV to PPV and Show to Show i'd say in my opinion Show to Show WWE is winning and PPV to PPV i'd have to give the slight edge to TNA, so I don't see TNA kicking nobody's ass just yet, On Stronger Division's: TNA has the stronger X-Division and Tag Division(although if the WWE's Tag Division was merged they have the edge in this section) but byfar WWE has the edge in the Heavyweight Division even with Cena and Batista as champion's, On Stronger Wrestling: That's a toss up right now I already said I agree TNA is more consistant but the wrestling on their show has suffered as of late so to me it's up in the air, last I love wrestling too much to just order one or they other I have to have both but if I had to choose right now I would choose to keep ordering WWE' PPV's(but it's a good thing I don't have to).

That is the point. Low Ki doesn't compromise. He's the smark's wrestler. No gimmickry, no BS, just ass-kicking on a brutal, grand scale and a contempt for the cartoonish nature of the American industry. They had zero character development previously except for bad pre-match segments that had zero pop or humor to them (Jackass most recently). At least now, they have Nash to help guide them with regards to personality. He's doing for them what they never could. I've noticed that their acting and performances have gotten markedly better because Nash is so comfortable in those kinds of situations. Nash is definitely no Bret Hart in terms of his in-ring capabilities, but he has had character in spades since the mid 90's and for him to try to help rub it off on them can't do anything worse than what's been done. You may not enjoy the segments, and that's your preference. I think they're hilarious for the most part, so they work for me. I feel a greater wealth of goodwill toward the characters and they actually are put into something funny for once.

I disagree in the biggest way. I think the WWE's shows are horrendous by comparison as I enjoy the skits and wrestling (although reduced) of TNA better than the WWE product. PPV to PPV, I haven't paid for a WWE event in a long time and each time I skip out I understand when I download them and fully realize I would've cursed them to high heaven for f**king me with another show I think is complete $hit. WWE has a decent tag division, but they still keep procuring teams that get badly pushed, suck to begin with, and have retarted gimmicks (Highlanders, Duggan/Eugene, Cryme Tyme are some candidates for some or all of the categories). Combining them wouldn't make any more sense to me. I think the whole division needs to be re-tooled altogether. WWE is sitting on previously successful tag teams, but keep trying to push the wrestlers as singles (which hasn't worked half as good as the tag situations) with MNM, The Hardy Dorks, and WGTT.

I'll side with Abyss' workrate and Sting's experience (for however much longer he lasts) over Cena and Batista, but that's just personal preference as I'll go for aptitude in the ring and experience over two green entertainment personalities that I feel should be shuffled into a tag unit themselves or sent back to wrestling school. The WWE TV booking style is stupid as they've done away with the old (and superior) crescendo style of booking they used to do in favor of a jumbled mess that is supposed to generate more TV ratings quarter-hourly, when they should be worried about keeping an audience entertained and pushed to the limit by the end of the night. Instead, the audience is left confused and listless as the booking order is out of intelligent sequence numerous times. TNA is suffering from bad rhythm problems from a lack of TV time that doesn't help with Russo's frenetic Crash TV style. Their one night 2-hour premiere had a more relaxed and natural flow to it that they definitely need on a regular basis as Russo wasn't trying to fit ten lbs. of $hit into a five lb. sack.

Can we keep the huge discussion (especially the stuff that is verging on ANOTHER WWE vs. TNA thing) out of the Ask a Question Thread. If you want to discuss Nash, start a new topic, if you want to discuss TNA vs. WWE Shows/Stars/PPV's use the Official Thread please.

You know were never going to agree on most of these subjects as we both seem to be set in our ways, but I do find some of the skits to be funny but it's too much I don't think the X-Division needs this to move on as most people begain and continue to watch because of that single division.

I somewhat agree that they need to re-tool the untire division and that re-teaming WGTT, MNM, and the Hardyz is a bad idea, as they have more deserving tag teams that could be lifted out of the lower card and make a impact, but I disagree and thinks the WWE has the better tag division overall even if it's not being used correctly, I hate makeshift tag teams that come in and take the titles(Taker and Kane, Austin and HHH, Jericho and Beniot, and now Edge and Orton) as it hurts the division more than helps in my opinion.

I agree about Batista but not so much about Cena(as you already know), the booking for both companies could use some help as both are not in the best shape right now, and TNA two hour show was a mess is was one of the worst impacts since it debut on Spike so not sure how much(if at all)it would help to get that second hour, but like you said maybe the second hour will help them work out all the kinks and turn TNA back into a well oiled machine.

Let's continue this debate on the TNA vs WWE thread as people are complaining and to keep us going on this thread i'm going to ask you a qustion.

Who are the top five wrestlers from WWE you would like to jump to TNA to help them become the top wrestling company and why?

This Thread is for Questions that Will Not Start any further Discussions. It is for Questions that actually have factual answers, not debates over who should jump where, or who is the best etc...

so I keep reading and hear from people that Joe/Angle 3 is giong to be a 30min. iron man match, but on TNAs site it doesn't say anything about this, so is it true is ANgle/Joe 3 going to be an iron man match?

I was wondering when tna showed clips of 2006 and I saw Scott Steiner what happen to him he just up and disappeared out of no where I liked him in tna he makes a great heel

when it came time to sign him to a new contract, he couldn't agree with them on the part where it states that TNA would handle all of his indy date, he felt he should be able to do that himself, since they couldn't come to an agreement on this they didn't resign him, personally I think he sucks in the ring, he always looks to stiff to me, but on the mic he's great, and that alone makes him a good heel, aslong as they keep him in a bodyguard type roll I think he's good

This really should be in the Ask A Question Thread.

I was always a fan of Steiners, I thought WWE completley wasted him when he was with them. He's not currently in T.N.A. because they want a percentage of his indy booking's. Apparently they are still trying to work out some kind of deal.

He may not be the wrestler he once was but he can still go, as he showed 6 month's ago. I never understood why WWE did'nt pair him up with Batista. With Steiner doing promo's they could have a good Trainer/Student type situation going.

Not sure where this is to be posted, so I figured that the TNA forum would be the best fit.

Now if anyone knows what it is, please post. Thanks

i have a dumb question. if memory serves me correct...Jeff Jarret won the nwa world heavyweight title on raw a few years back when Jim Cornette had his NWA faction angle thing going on with wwf/nwa. If it was the NWA world title he won , does Tna recognize this previous NWA title run?

I imagine they would because the company is officially calleD T.N.A. N.W.A.

they re not nwa tna anymore. they dropped that a long time ago from everything i ve read. they just have a lease for the nwa world and tag titles till like 2014.
