Alright here are my picks for Atlanta... got Lazy, sorry.

Match 1: The Nature Boy Ric Flair vs. The Gladiator Mike Awesome
Match Type: Submission match
Absolutely no way Awesome can beat flair in a submission match. You would think he could beat him down so much and put him in a basic submission or something, but it's not like Flair's ever backed down from a fight from a bigger man or anything.
Winner: Ric Flair

Match 2: Chris Jericho vs. Superfly Jimmy Snuka
Match Type: Steel Cage
Snuka revolutionized the Cage match, but Jericho perfected it. There was a reason I decided it would be a good idea for Jericho to pick this match. He's good at running away and using rules to his advantage, and he's more agile than Superfly. It sucks that Superfly goes out early, he's better than just round 3, but I gotta go with Y2J here.
Winner: Y2J

Match 3: The Rock vs. Sgt. Slaughter
Match Type: Brahma Bull Rope Match
Now that I think about this this wasn't the smartest choice for the Rock, but then again he didn't have that much of a choice. Nevertheless, I'm going to say that the 70,000 screaming fans help the Rock come out on top. Slaughter's never been that great in big arenas (after all, they did move an event from a dome because of a death threat ). But the Rock's Charisma and Agility keep him in this match.
Winner: The Rock, but barely.

Match 4: The Magnificent Don Muraco vs. Christian Cage
Match Type: Hangman's Horror
Muraco in a squash. Cage isn't there yet, and never will be if he never goes back to WWE, and even then it's doubtful. He's exactly like Matt Hardy.
Winner: Don Muraco

Match 5: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper
Match Type: Backlot Brawl
This is the match of the tournament, or one of them. Back and forth match here, but in the end Stone Cold comes out on top. Piper was kind of an underachiever, and Austin is the biggest drawing single season wrestler in history. Ric Flair won't interfere, I think he's rather let them pound each other and take advantage of the winner at a later round.
Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin

Match 6: The Crippler Chris Benoit vs. El Matador Tito Santana
Match Type: Submission Match
People are underrating Santana, but in this match it's no contest. Benoit advances easily and gets a physically tired Steve Austin.
Winner: Benoit with the Crossface or Sharpshooter.

Match 7: The Total Package Lex Luger vs. Big John Studd
Match Type: Ladder Match
I gave my thoughts on this match earlier... This is great strategy by Luger. No one knows what he'd be like in a ladder match, but it's fairly obvious that Studd is not built for one and didn't wrestle in the right era to even know one. Luger has a huge advantage. If he gets Studd out of the ring the match is easily his.
Winner: Luger in a very awkward but entertaining match.

Match 8: William Regal vs. The Next Big Thing Brock Lesnar
match Type: Manchester Street Fight
This is going to be a very good match, and closer than people thing. Lesnar's a monster, but Regal is a VERY brutal competitor, and VERY underused. In the end however, Lesnar is just a monster. I hate voting for him because of his lack of passion for the business, but oh well, we can just have Luger take him out in the next round or Austin or Benoit in the round after that. After all, Austin was the one who refused to do the job to him
Winner: Lesnar in a closer match than people think.

Round 4 Potential matches

Ric Flair vs. Y2J - VERY interesting match-up here. If they draw a match that's more high flying or a First Blood Match or something, we could have a VERY interesting looking round 5. This one could go either way.

The Rock vs. Don Muraco - Another potential dream match. I'd love to see this one. Again the Rock is an underdog... two rounds in a row (assuming he gets here), who would've thunk it?

Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit - Another great match-up, a dream match, and very interesting. Benoit doesn't have the clear submission or brutality advantage here. Austin can hold his own in any match type.

Lugar vs. Lesnar - This might very possibly be one of the biggest drawing matches in wrestling history if done properly. And Lugar has to be the favorite to be able to knock of Brock this far into the tourney.

I'll try to get the next round in tonight (and the round after that, lol)

Here are the first Results for round 3.
WCW Region - Atlanta, GA.
Match 1: The match was pure domination for Naitch. Mike Awesome had a fighting chance early, but it just became to much Nature Boy for Awesome to overcome inFlair Country. Ric Flair heads to Round 4 with 93% of the vote.

Match 2: Y2J vs. Jimmy Snuka has instant classic written all over it. Throw this into a steel cage, and you've got a masterpiece. It went back and forth early, but in the End Jericho is able to escape the cage first for a 4th round matchup we all want to see. Jericho with 75% of the vote.

Match 3: A lot of people felt differently then I did on this match. At least it hasn't fallen into a popularity contest just yet, because enough votes against the Rock shows that it isn't just that. The Rock gets by the Sarge in a bloodbath, Rock with 83% of teh vote.

Match 4: I'm kinda left scratching my head after this one. You can see a difference before the PPV last night, and I guess after what people saw, they came in mass. Don Muraco all but had this thing wrapped up early, but Christian Cage comes back and chokes out the Magnificent One. Cage heads to round 4 with 52% of the vote.

Match 5: In what is a dream match to be certain, Piper and Austin beat the hell out of each other. The early results showed what was surely going to be an upset in the making. Piper took a big lead in this match whilethe match was outside, but once the match got itnot he ring, Austin took control. Austin lands the Stunner and advances to the next round. Stone Cold with 63% of the vote.

Match 6: A good looking match on paper. People may say that Tito is undervalued in this matchup, but he is goign against Benoit. Chris Benoit advances with 100% of the vote.

Match 7: While it wasn't Steroids on a Pole, Studd vs. Luger is an ugly beat down match all over. Studd shows that he just isn't too comfortable on top of that ladder, and Lex Luger is heading to the next round with 71% of the vote.

Match 8: Watching the results pour in on this one was very interesting. William Regal beats down the Next Big Thing Early and often. Regal bust Brock open with the Brass Knucks and has the match all but wrapped up, but something happened. Brock taste his own blood and the animal is released. Brock comes back with a fury and F-5's William Regal out of the tournament. Brock advances with just 65%.

Match 1: The Immortal Hulk Hogan vs. The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal, Death Defying Sabu
Match Type: Regular rules, Top Rope Moves are banned and result in an automatic DQ.
Rules of the Match: If anyone utilizes the top rope for offensive purposes, they will be DQ'd.
Crowd Advantage: Hogan owned MSG for the early 80's. Sabu will have that small contigent of loyal ECW followers that will follow him to NYC, but nothing compared to what Hogan will ahve.
Atmoshper Advantage: Hogan has performed in more big matches then anyone. Plus his experience inside of the Mecca of sports Entertainment is enxt to none.
Rules Advantage: Hogan Heavily. Hogan probably has never used the top rope in his career, while Sabu's offense is almost all top rope based. Plus no weapons further hinders his offense.

Match 2: Carlito Carribean Cool vs. The Phenomenal AJ Styles
Match Type: Ladder Match
Rules of the Match: the first to climb the Ladder and regain the briefcase for round 4 is the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Neither
Atmosphere Advantage: Carlito has performed in the Garden, whereas AJ has never sniffed it. But the NY crowd will respond to someone that bust their ass in the ring.
Rules Advantage: Slight speed advantage to Styles. Styles will definetly be more inventive in this match then Carlito.

Match 3: Sting vs. Rey Misterio Jr.
Match Type: Submission Match
Rules of the Match: The first competitor to make his opponent tap or say I Quit is the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Neither
Atmosphere Advantage: Sting. He has been in so many big matches it is unreal. Although this may be his first time in the Garden, a seasoned Veteran won't let that bother him
Rules Advantage: Sting. Sting has made everyone he's faced tap out in the Scorpion Death Lock.

Match 4: Terry Funk vs. Samoa Joe
Match Type: Flaming Branding Iron
Rules of the Match: The First competitor to Brand their opponent will be the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Neither
Atmosphere: Funk is over like god anywhere he goes. Most people remember him from ECW, but he performed in a ton of big matches in the NWA
Rules Advantage: Samoa Joe is very talented and can be sadistic, but is he sadistic enough to hold a flaming branding Iron onto another human Being? Funk is, and he's done it, and will do it again.

Match 5: Bret the Hitman Hart vs. Gregory Helms
Match Type: Submission Match
Rules of the match: The first person to make their opponent tap or say I Quit, will be the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Hart in the Garden is the favorite.
Atmosphere Advantage: Hart. Again a ton of big match experience for him gives him the advantage.
Rules Advantage: Hart. Hart has made countless men tap out in the painful Sharpshooter.

Match 6: Kurt Angle vs. the Iceman Dean Malenko
Match Type: I Quit Match
Rules of the match: Similar to Submision match, but the person must only say I Quit.
Crowd Advantage: Even
Atmosphere Advantage: Angle has been in more big match situation, so he gets the nod.
Rules Advantage: Texas Cloverleaf v. Anklelock. Both are submission experts so this is even.

Match 7: Mick Foley vs. The Undertaker
Match Type: Buried Alive
Rules of the match: The first opponent to place their opponent in the grave and bury them alive will be the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Even
Atmosphere Advantage: Even, both are used to the big match, especially at the Garden.
Rules Advantage: Even. The last time they fought in this match, Taker won, but Foley was left standing ontop of his grave. They have faced each other in almost everymatch conceivable.

Match 8: Bam Bam Bigelow vs. the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase
Match Type: Barbed Wire Steel Cage
Rules of the match: The first person to exit the cage, or gain a pinfull will be the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Even
Atmosphere Advantage: Even
Rules Advantage: Bigelow. A man this size locked in a cage with no way out is dangerous. Plus Bam Bam in his ECW days was sick. But the big question is, did Bam Bam Bigelow take a pay day from the Million Dollar Man, Does Everybody have a Price?

Okay this match lasts all of about ten seconds. No hogna dosent beat Sabu but Sabu says F it grabs a charir jumps off the top rope busts open Hogan and is DQed. Sabu will not care about the rules so he will lose

Both men can fly and this is no easy match but AJ has more drive and will pull it off

Match 3: Sting vs. Rey Misterio Jr.
This will be a great match and am remined of Bret Hart v 123 Kid great match but not sure if Rey even has any submission moves in his reprotire

Match 4: Terry Funk vs. Samoa Joe
Match Type: Flaming Branding Iron
This will not be for the squeamish. Yes Joe has the drive but can he do it. If he foought the funk of today he would have a hard time but Funk in his prime (which I think was back when he used to wrestle Abe Lincoln) will beat him dwon

Match 5: Bret the Hitman Hart vs. Gregory Helms
See Sting and REy almost a duplicate

Match 6: Kurt Angle vs. the Iceman Dean Malenko
I quit match favors neither so you actually think Angle would have asked for a MMA match that he thinks he is so qualified for. But anyway I will go agaist the grain Angle is good he won a gold mmedal all right but Malenko is a wrestling machine. If he wonly knew a thousand holds I think Angle wins but its that 1001 and that makes the differnece

Match 7: Mick Foley vs. The Undertaker
Good old fashioned slobberknocker. Taker has to win as Foley in his prime is the same as he has been throughtout his whol career but Taker in his prime well he was a beast

Match 8: Bam Bam Bigelow vs. the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase
Doesnt matter the match type can this match any other way than Bigelow on his back sipping mai tis iun a tropic resort after taking a massive payemnt form MDM

Hulk Hogan vs. Sabu - God damnit I was almost certain to pick Sabu because Hogan has almost zero wrestling skills when you get down to it, but in MSG environment with no top rope moves, Hogan would have to be blindfolded to lose this one. Sabu get's DQ'ed when he tries for the triple jump moonsault.
Winner: Hulk Hogan

Ladder Match
Carlito vs. AJ Styles - Great, great match up here. I'd love to see what Carlito could do in the TNA ring. He's a great up and comer but AJ Styles is probably the greatest wrestler thats still in the ring these days, and thats saying a whole god damn lot. Styles takes it rather easily.
Winner: AJ Styles

Submission Match
Sting vs. Rey Mysterio - Damnit, bad luck here for Rey. These guys will put on a show stealing match, but Mysterio has no chance against a Stinger in his prime in a submission match. Deathlock for the win here.
Winner: Sting

Flaming Branding Iron Match
Terry Funk vs. Samoa Joe - Am I the only one that finds this match to be of dream quality? Joe will put up one helluva fight here, but in the old school MSG crowd with Terry's branding iron rules, how can he lose? Not to mention Funk in his prime would own every wrestler in this tourney. It's a shame that Joe's gotta go, but thats the bottom line. Better not be any TNA fanatics voting Joe simply because he's TNA.

Submission Match
Bret Hart vs. Gregory Helms - Helms doesn't stand a god damn chance, how the hell did he get into round 3? Hart makes him scream for his mother five minutes into the match with the sharpshooter.

I Quit Match
Kurt Angle vs. Dean Malenko - Holy shit this is a show stopper. This one goes a good 40 minutes with the crowd in it desperately. After a long battle, Angle will get the win simply because he is the better wrestler than Malenko. Malenko goes home, but jesus just BARELY here.
Winner: Kurt Angle

Buried Alive Match
Mick Foley vs. Undertaker - Although 'Takers got the rules advantage, after all of their battles I always came ot more impressed with Foley's moves. This one is going to upset alot of people, but Foley takes this one in the closest match of em all, 51% to 49%.
Winner: Mick Foley

Barbed Wire Cage
Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Ted DiBiase - If it weren't for Bam Bam being in Ted's pocket, this one would be all him. However, I see him carrying DiBiase over the cage for the big payoff, selling himself out and causing the fans to almost riot.
Winner: Ted DiBiase

I don't think anyone has to explain themselves to a guy with Nash as a display pic, but I will anyway. These gimmick matches are stupid, especially when they are made so that one guy has to lose. Sabu is going to lose to Hogan in a 10 seconds. That should not happen, but it will because of the stips. I'm just completely ignoring the stips and voting for the better guy, and in my opinion, that guy was cage.

Why ignore the stips, that's half the fun of the tournament. That's the advantage that those higher seeded guys get in these early rounds. Round 4 takes the advantage away and is a complete crapshoot. That was one of the things I said from the beginning, the first 3 rounds favor the higher seeds, but by the time Spin the wheel/Raw Roulette comes around, those higher seeds can be screwed. Vote however you want, I don't care. If I was rigging this thing, Andre never would have lost to Raven in the first round, so I'm puttin up what you guys do.

I think what Prax and some of the others are wanting is conversation from people that pick a Christian Cage over a Don Muraco. I don't think it's bashing, but the conversatoin almost seems so one sided, but the outcomes are mostly different.

And the voting is only supposed to let you vote once, but I'm not sure how good the opinionpower site is on actually backing it up. I'd like people to only vote once, but I think some people may start to take it too seriously. I want this to be wrestling analysis, not a damn popularity contest. The whole idea of this tourny, A. Try to decide who we think is one of the best wrestlers of all time is, B. Have some kick ass conversation and debates over many matches that just won't plain happen in real life, because half these guys are dead, or they are too old, or in different companies.

I'm not bitching, don't get the wrong idea, but this thing is just for fun, don't take it so serious. I enjoy doing this, I think it kicks ass, but stipulations are part of wrestling. Again, vote how you want, but try to have some fun while doing it.

Shadowmancer you brought up a very good point that I think a lot of people are missing, Sabu is very innovative, most of his offense is top rope related, but thta's not saying he won't use the middle rope. Analysis is all you need. if you think things out, any wrestler can beat anybody with any stipulation.
Example. Steamboat could have been on the top rope. Kick show in the nuts, and push him over with his hand around Shows throat and get a cheap win. The Stips are designed to help the higher seeds this round, but it doesn't have to be so cut and dry. An innovative wrestler will find a loophole in almost anything.

Overnite, on the wikipedia page is there anyway to add the stipulations to the results without screwing up the formula. I don't want someone looking at it and seeing that Big Show beat Steamboat and then think that we are all ******ed because everyone knows Steamboat is the better wrestler. Just a suggestion, but if it can't be done because of the formatting, that's cool.

Alright, here are the results from TNA Region, the Impact Zone.

Match 1: In what is sure to piss people off, Jeff Jarret pulls off the upset on Double A Arn Anderson. I think what most people realize is that Jarret can't pin Anderson, but the Gimmick works in his favor. Let's not forget Jarret is a 10 time world champion. Jarret moves on with 58% of the vote.

Match 2: I know it sucks, but there was no way that Ricky Steamboat would have a fighting chance in this match. Steamboat gives it a valiant effort, but in the end the Big Man is just too much and gets the Chokeslam done. Show advances wtih 73%.

Match 3: In what was a nice good matchup, Booker T and Shelton Benjamin beat the hell out of each other. In the end though, the five time WCW champion was too much for Benjamin to handle. Again in five years this could be different, but this is now. Booker goes on with 70% of the vote.

Match 4: Tommy Dreamer gets out to a big advantage over the Ravishing one and the Cinderella story looked alive. But in the end, Rude is too much for Dreamer to handle, and sadly, but realistically, one of my faves is gone. Rude moves on with 60% of the vote. Strong showing for Dreamer.

Match 5: Triple H shows the young Orton still has much to learn in this business. This match was total domination by the Cerebral Assasin as the Game moves on with 85% of the vote.

Match 6: This one sucks. As much as I love Curt Hennig, I realized in this match that he was fighting with his back against the wall. He puts up a strong effort, but in the end Vader gets the Vaderbomb threw the table for the W. Vader advances to round 4 with 56% of the vote.

Match 7: In a very close matchup that sees probably every high spot imaginable, Mr. Monday Night is able to snag the briefcase as Edge spears him to hell. Rob Van Dam goes on with 51%, but he'll be feeling it in the next round.

Match 8: Another big name goes home in this round. Eddie Guerrero takes down another big man as he advances to round 4. Guerrero wins the ladder match with 85% of the vote. I'm kinda shocked to see Steiner not get a stronger showing.

Here are the matchups for today. These matches all take place inside the ECW Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

Commentator: Joey Styles. Looking at the wrestlers in this region how many time would we hear "This looks like a Prison Break?"

Match 1: Harley Race vs. Dusty Rhodes vs. the British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith
Match Type: Triple Threat Elimination Street Fight.
Rules of the Match: When a person is pinned, they are eliminated. The match continues until one man is left standing.
Crowd Advantage: None
Atmosphere Advantage: Race and Rhodes ahve been in considerable amount of big matches compared to the Bulldog.
Rules Advantage: Race is easily the smartest of the three competitors. Plus Rhodes and Smith battled to a 30 minute draw, so they still have something to prove.

Match 2: Raven vs. Jeff Hardy
Match Type: Clockwork Orange House Of Fun Match
Rules of the Match: The ring is enclosed in a steel cage, but weapons are strapped to the side of the cage and hanging from chains from the ceiling.
Crowd Advantage: Raven will be a God inside the ECW Arena.
Atmosphere Advantage: Raven gets the nod. In the small crowd he thrives and plus his multiple championship matches proves he can handle the pressure.
Rules Advantage: Raven. Raven will bleed for the business, whereas Jeff likes to take huge bumps. In this match it favors the bleeder.

Match 3: John Cena vs. Owen Hart
Match Type: Last Man Standing
Rules of the Match: The first competitor not able to reach their knees by a ten count will lose the match.
Crowd Advantage: Owen Hart. While Owen was never in ECW, the ECW Crowd dispises the air that John Cena breathes.
Atmosphere Advantage: Owen Hart. The Small crowd at ONS II got into Cena's head. Cena makes mistakes when the crowd rattles him.
Rules Advantage: Cena. Cena has a victory in this type of match and takes away the Sharpshooter as a submission for Hart. But that doesn't mean that Hart simply can't keep the shooter locked on and simply breaks Cena's legs.

Match 4: Dustin Rhodes vs. Kane
Match Type: Kane will have his hands cuffed behind his back.
Rules of the Match: Basic Rules, weapons allowed, but Kane must start the match with his hands behind his back.
Crowd Advantage: Neither
Atmosphere Advantage: Neither
Rules Advantage: Rhodes easily. Kane is going to be very limited in his offense as long as his hands are behind his back.

Match 5: The Franchise Shane Douglas vs. The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels.
Match Type: Dog Collar Match
Rules of the Match: Both men will be chained together wearing dog collars with an eight foot chain.
Crowd Advantage: Shane Douglas
Atmosphere Advantage: Even, both are used to performing infront of small crowds.
Rules Advantage: Douglas. Douglas has been in a couple of these matches where I think Daniels hasn't been in any. This takes a lot of Daniels offense away.

Match 6: The Human Suplex Machine Taz vs. the War Machine Rhino
Match Type: Submission Match
Rules of the Match: The first person to make their opponent tap or say I Quit will be the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Taz. While Rhino kicked ass in ECW, perhaps no one was as over as Taz.
Atmosphere Advantage: Even. Both perform very well in small crowds.
Rules Advantage: Taz. Taz has made a living of making men tap out.

Match 7: The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels vs. Ron Simmons
Match Type: Ladder Match
Rules of the Match: The first person to climb the ladder and retrieve the briefcase will be the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Neither
Atmosphere Advantage: Neither
Rules Advantage: HBK was the innovator of the ladder match, so he will have a heavy advantage in this round.

Match 8: Big Sexy Kevin Nash vs. Lance Storm
Match Type: Tables Match
Rules of the Match: The first person to drive their opponent threw a table with an offensive maneuver will be the winner.
Crowd Advantage: Storm. The ECW Arena will be rabid to take down a Kliq member.
Atmosphere Advantage: Storm. Storm has had some of his best matches in the smaller arenas.
Rules Advantage: Nash. His sheer size alone will be enough to keep Storm at a distance. It'll be hard for Storm to get Nash threw a table.

Alright, I'm going to hold off until Saturday or Sunday again to start up round 4. I know how I am this time of the year, and with a bunch of college basketball on for the next four days, I'll be worthless to you all. This will let people cool off I suppose and comeback with a fresh look on it. Plus I can narrow these damn gimmick matches to 19. I imagine by friday or saturday that i'll post what match types for each match so there aren't any suprises.

Double A is getting no respect from you guys. How can you guys think Jeff Jarrett would beat him in any kind of match? AA is a legend, JJ is far from that.

Yeah, people are forgetting Jarret has to get the guitar before he can use it. Double A will beat him to a bloody pulp before anyone can get to it.

I don't think anyone has to explain themselves to a guy with Nash as a display pic, but I will anyway. These gimmick matches are stupid, especially when they are made so that one guy has to lose. Sabu is going to lose to Hogan in a 10 seconds. That should not happen, but it will because of the stips. I'm just completely ignoring the stips and voting for the better guy, and in my opinion, that guy was cage.

That's the thing, he's not. You've obviously never seen a Muraco match. He's one of the true legends of wrestling and possibly one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time. One of the best IC Champs of all time.

I suggest you go rent some DVDs with his matches or download them. Christian Cage is NOWHERE NEAR Muraco's league (although some of their career paths are surprisingly similar).

So why are there ever stipulations in regular wrestling? It's only reflecting the fact that stipulations are used all the time in real life, so why ignore them here? The best grudge matches has had stipulations, and they've altered the possible results and the course of the matches, to ignore them is completely ridiculous.

Harley Race vs. Dusty Rhoades vs. British Bulldog - a good triple threat match up here but with that 30 min draw i just dont see Race getting knocked off.
Winner : HARLEY RACE

Raven vs. Jeff Hardy - this is a match up i can see where people bitch about the stipulations to a degree. With this match type i think both men can be very good but seeing as it is in ECW i gotta go with Raven, but if it were in a WWE ring i would go with Jeff Hardy. But Raven will pick up the win with some hella crazy spots in this match.
Winner : RAVEN

John Cena vs. Owen Hart - This is where i really hope the negativity towards Cena doesnt come into play cause you may not like him but i see no way that owen can win this match. Cena has beaten both Umaga and JBL in this match format and simply has heart and can over power owen and you want to talk about owen using the sharpshooter...how about Cena using the STFU until owen cant get up, we've seen him do it to Umaga and if he can do it to a man of that size he can easily do it to owen. Relatively easy win for CENA.

Dustin Rhoades vs. Kane - In what i think will be a short match simply because can has no hands to defend himself haha. If he had hands this would be a cake walk but in the ECW envirnment Rhoades can use virtually anything so i see Rhoades taking this one.
Winner : DUSTIN RHOADES

Shane Douglas vs. Christopher Daniels - i think this match would be an overall better match if the dog collar was no involved but with that being said i think the Franchise has more power and strength and has done well for himself in ECW so i dont see him losing this one.

Taz vs. Rhino - DAMN! and in ecw...double DAMN! this one is going to be a knock down drag out of a war and unless the winner of this match gets to pick the stipulation i dont see them advancing to the next round. This one is going to go a good 15-20 min of back and forthi action with quite a few "Oh my gods" and i actually give the strength and power advantage to Rhino but when it hits that 15-20 min mark i think Taz will lock in the Tazmission and Rhino is going to be to tired to get out.

Shawn Michaels vs. Ron Simmons - I see this as a cake walk, HBK invented the ladder match and simmons does not have a chance against an HBK in his prime. I see michaels getting 85-100% of the votes.
Winner : HBK

Kevin Nash vs. Lance Storm - nash has the power and storm has the envirnment and the technical prowless and "If i can be serious for a moment" lance storm probably had his best matches in ECW so i am going the upset here once Nash loses focus cause Lance Storm is all about being serious for more than a moment.

Overnite, that looks damn good, keep it up. Don't think I'm criticizing picks at all. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on it. I think what I would like to see is more conversation from the guys that pick a Christian Cage to win. The conversation in here seems pretty lop sided. Christian beating Muracco kinds suprises me, but i'm not shocked by it. Ya Double A being eliminated does suck. Like i said before, any other circumstances Double J goes home, but with the match type and in his arena, he's a tough person to take down whether you love him or hate him.

Anyways, onto todays' picks. and yesterdays too.
Match 1: Hogan vs. Sabu.
I actually see the Hulkster getting rattled in this one. Sabu is smarter then what most people think. He is going to utilize that middle and bottom rope as much as possible. But in the end, I love Sabu, but he's tasting the big boot and laying down for a three count.

Match 2. AJ Styles vs. Carlito: Ladder match
Carlito is probably the better wrestler, but AJ is the better in ring perfomer and the more athletic of the two. A Lot of people don't like AJ, and I was one of them, but after you watch his matches you can't think of anyone besides RVD Mid 90's, he's that good. Athleticism is what wins Ladder matches, and AJ is taking this one.

Match 3: Sting vs. Rey Rey: Submission match.
This is a damn good match that probably goes about 30 minutes. If anyone doesn't think that these styles can mesh well, go watch Summerslam 02 with Angle vs. Rey, that match just about stole the night. In the end though, it's going to be Sting locking on the Deathlock and going to round 4.

Match 4: Funk vs. Joe: Flaming Branding Iron.
Samoa Joe is a pure bad ass, but this is Terry Freakin Funk. I think Joe has a legit meanstreak and he'll make the Funker bleed in this. But Funk can be sadistic, and before it's all said and done, Joe's back will be branded.

Match 5: Bret Hart vs. Gregory Helms: Submission Match.
I believe while the percentages are going to vastly favor Hart, this match is going to be a lot closer then that. This has a great match written all over it, but Helms will be tapping in the Sharpshooter.

Match 6: Kurt Angle vs. Dean Malenko: I Quit Match
Hmm, the Olympian against a man that was pretty much a mute his entire career, but someone is going to say I Quit. This right here is a technical wrestlers dream match. Malenko is going to put Angle in the Cloverleaf, Malenko will be in the ankle lock. Finally at the 30 minute mark, Angle will lock taht ankle lock and grapevine on in the middle of the ring and malenko will finally say I Quit.

Match 7: Foley vs. Taker: Buried Alive Match
This is tough. I can see Foley coming as Cactus Jack this time around and that is going to change things a lot. In the end though, I think Undertaker is going to barely win this one. Just one more match in real life, please?

Match 8: Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Ted DiBiase. Barb Wire Steel Cage.
I think Bigelow doesn't have a price in this match. I think he believes he can legitimatly win this thing if the matches fall right, and he is going to send DiBiase packign while Virgil sits outside.

ECW Region.
Match 1. Race vs. Rhodes vs. The Bulldog
Rhodes and Bulldog are going right at each other, but eventually I see Race and Rhodes forming an alliance to take out the Bulldog. The ECW crowd is going to see a great match between two legends, but in the end a bloody Harley Race advances to round 2.

Match 2: Raven vs. Jeff Hardy: Clockwork Orange.
Raven has effectively taken the air advantage away from Jeff Hardy. Raven is going to bust Hardy wide open and take this one rather easily. Maybe he'll crucify him on Eagle's Nest.

Match 3: John Cena vs. Owen Hart: Last Man Standing
The ECW crowd is going to be all over Cena like flies on shit, no doubt. But I think I've secured my spot in hell forever by saying that John Cena is going to beat Owen Hart bloody and leave him in a pool of his own blood.

Match 4: Dustin Rhodes vs. Kane: Handcuff match
This is a classic matchup right here. Kane has to start the match in cuffs, but that doesn't mean he ends the match in cuffs. I see Rhodes getting to close and taking a boot to the head. Kane breaks the always lovely gimmick cuffs, and chokeslams Rhodes for the win.

Match 5: Shane Douglas vs. Christopher Daniels: Dog Collar Match
Good match choice I think. Douglas eliminates and momentum building moves Daniels can throw at him. I think Douglas is too violent for Daniels, and he advances relatively easily.

Match 6: Taz vs. Rhino: Submission.
This match goes for about 25 minutes in the ECW Arena. You'll probably see some suplexes that would make you cringe when they land on their heads. Finally, Rhino misses the gore and bounces off teh turnbuckle, where Taz locks the Tazmission and Rhino taps out.

Match 7: HBK vs. Ron Simmons: Ladder match
One of my favorites is going home. Ron Simmons is one of my most enjoyable wrestlers, but there is no way he takes down HBK in this matchup. I onlly wonder how well HBK is received in the ECW Arena?

Match 8: Kevin Nash vs. Lance Storm: Tables Match
I see nash just dominating Storm throughout this match. But guess what, there are way too many combustible elements for this thing not to blow up. This is a well orchestrated plan by the Franchise. Shane douglas gets his hands on this one, distracts Nash while Storm Superkicks Nash off the apron and threw a table at ring side. The opening shot of the Kliq vs. the Triple Threat has been fired as Joey Styles yells "Oh My God" to end the night.

Potential Matches:
WWE
Hogan vs. Styles: This can be very interesting depending on the match. Hogan better pray it's not a ladder match.
Sting vs. Terry Funk: Amazing no matter what
Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle: Seriously one of the 3 best matches ever.
Undertaker vs. Bam Bam Bigelow: A big man that the Undertaker can wrestle that will probably give him a damn good match.

ECW
Race vs. Raven: This has bloodbath written all over it.
Cena vs. Kane: Seen it. I've got a bad feeling on Cena going very far in this thing. His draws have been unbelievable in this thing.
Shane Douglas vs. Taz: If Douglas is looking ahead to HBK, he is going home this round.
HBK vs. Lance Storm: HBK is going to have to tear down the triple threat to win this thing.

I like these matchups a lot.
*On a sidenote. Keep all of your opinions handy. When this thing is over I want to hear everyones opinions on how we can make this thing better. I'll do this again next year if you want, but rule changes and stuff like that we'll discuss. I'm interested on how we can either expand the credentials to get in, decrease the field, cut back gimmick matches, whatever. This thing is fun to do, so any opinions will kick ass for me.

I will admit that I only voted for Cage, because I have not really ever seen a full Muraco match, only parts, as well as the fact that Christian has been one of my favorite wrestlers since he and Edge were a tag team. So I guess I was one of those that is kind of young and watched early 90s stuff but I was like 4. Only know of stuff from like 99 on so, I will go out and find some Muraco stuff to see what he is all about. Thanks for enlightening me Prax.

There have been a few matches that have bothered me. Andrea be elimated, Muraco being elimated, and now the enforcer AA! As one person said JJ has got to beat down AA, that ain't no easy task, AA works over JJ arm, a spinebuster(HHH whom I like has nothing on the orginal) and AA gets the guitar. The Show over Steamboat thing I didn't like, but I voted for show because come on people it was a Chokeslam match. Shockmaster has set this thing up, and we should go by the rules, not always our hearts. Shockmaster take a well deserved break, I'll be watching the games, as wrestling takes a backseat. Also I understand this is a public forumn, but please be respectful, and not use GD. A curse words is going to happen but please. Take care all.

Of all the regions the most inetresting and that is becasue of the Paul Heyman factor. Since we are taking wrestlers from the peak primes then it only makes sense that Paul is taking from his prime during the days when he was loyal to ECW through and through and didnt leave till the last bulb had burned out (and not the crap angle of that Vince had him do). So really here I dont see any ECW wrestler losing to an outsider here he will make sur ethat his boys find a way to win

ECW Region.
Match 1. Race vs. Rhodes vs. The Bulldog
No Paul needed just a darn great fight. I agree Race and Rhodes will take out Bulldog but then I really do see Rhodes kncoking the stuffing out of Race with the Bionic Elbow

I serioulsy belive that if he hadnt died he would have been a world champ. We were just starting to get into the era where the quicker smaller guys could get that role. In this match he may not be able o make Cena tap but with no Dq's he can jsut lock in the sharpshooter till Cena passes out as teh ropes will be no help. Either that or get the Bulldog and or Anvil to knock Cena out


Match 4: Dustin Rhodes vs. Kane: Handcuff match
One how may times have you seen cuffs broken in wrestling. Kane will do that and send Dustin home


Match 5: Shane Douglas vs. Christopher Daniels: Dog Collar Match
Shane has the triple threat but on the other hand he has problems with Heyman. I think ultimaley Paul will let this match go down as nomal as he would prefer and ECW wrestelkr to kncok off Shane and that will happen next round


Match 6: Taz vs. Rhino: Submission.
A brutal match but rhino dosent have a submission move in his reproitre while taz can make you tap out with his pinkie
