Road to Wrestlemania 28 - KEEP ALL WM28 GENERAL DISCUSSION IN HERE!!

Mania 28 will look like this.

Rock/Cena.
Undertaker/HHH III
Miz/Punk - WWE championship.
Bryan/Sheamus/Christian - World Championship
Cody Rhoads/Orton - IC title maybe no DQ.
Cara/Rey Jr (for the masking wear record)

the rest of the card will be fillers

Ok Vince but I disagree, it wont look anything like that. You probably ahve 2 matches maximum correct.Randy Orton for the IC Title? No, that makes no sense at all.

As for the topic in hand, no no no. Del Rio squashed at Wrestlemania? NO THANK YOU.

Uhm No. Wrestlemania last for about what? 4 hrs? I don't think they would book a world title match like that in a Wrestlemania card. That's a lot of vacant space :lmao:

Although that idea could happen on regular monday nights. Or other PPVs not named wrestlemania. And besides, if that match happen, del rio would be buried big time.

That's actually another concern I had why I had this idea. Throughout recent years and, despite being 4 hours, we have see talented guys left out of WM because of time retstraints.

Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan, Unification Tag Titles, Kane/RVD vs. Moorley/Storm, Carlito vs. Ric Flair come into mind.

I don't see this as a burying Del Rio ... I see this as an angle of an Overconfident WWE Champion coming in to WM only to loose in record time and, as my exmaple before, Yokozuna was still credible despite loosing the title in a min.

WhatAboutRaven said:
Two things: One, Don't ever compare Del Rio to Lebron. Unlike LJ, Del Rio has his rings, so to speak.

haha ... of course not in terms of actual ability (since we cant compare someone from Basketball to someone in Sports Entertainment) but rather the strange comparission of an arrogant star loosing a championship match at Miami if this were to happen. They could have a "Choke" angle which could actually add some heel heat to Del Rio's character.

No, you see that is a crap way to continue to bury the WWE Championship. Yes CM Punk should headline Mania with the title, he should wrestle Daniel Bryan. That would be a solid proper wrestling match.

If not, HHH could put him over, they hyave not had much of an in ring program, just the one match forced upon WWE due to Nash not being able to work.

The problem with comparing yoko and del rio is even if yoko lost in 15 secs he just got done wrestling a hard match against bret. Also you would still look at yoko and say "this is one big motherfucker who can fuck up anyone". After the match del rio turns into someone who had no problem defending the title for months then just happened to lose in 3 mins. He doesn't have the look that makes you think he could be a monster again. So comparing this 3 mins lose to yoko's is pointless.

I would much rather see this play out till punk goes for the pin. Rodriguez puts del rio's foot under the rope. Ref stops the count at 2.9999. Punk sees this and goes after rodriguez. Punk grabs him and is about to hit him when del fio chop blocks him from behing ala razor/JJ during one of their IC title matches. Punk plays up the hurt leg the whole match. But you have del riojust work on the arm setting up for the arm bar. He loses then he explains the next night on raw that the reason he didn't try to do more work on the leg is that it was already hurt and he wanted to hurt punk's arm also. Setting up maybe a sub match or a hardcore match at what ever the next ppv is nowadays.

Well, I agree with the match but I totally disagree with the suggested flow of the match. First of all, I don't think Vince would agree in having a very short main event title match. That would be against his style and how he runs things on the biggest stage. Anyway, here's my suggestion for the Wrestlemania 28 card:

WWE Title Match
CM Punk vs. Alberto del Rio (c)
Special Enforcer: Stone Cold Steve Austin
* - CM Punk winning the Royal Rumble for the first time and cementing his role as the top guy.

World Heavyweight Title Match
Randy Orton (c) vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus
* - Daniel Bryan cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase, while Sheamus winning the #1 Contender Tournament at Smackdown

Icon vs. Icon
The Rock vs. John Cena

WWE Intercontinental Title Match
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Zack Ryder
* - I think it would be better if they put these two in a program. It will be something fresh and entertaining.

WWE United States Title Match
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Mason Ryan vs. Jack Swagger

WWE Tag Team Title Match
Awesome Truth (c) w/ Kevin Nash vs. DX: Triple H and Shawn Michaels

Undertaker vs. Mick Foley

30-Man Battle Royal Featuring RAW and Smackdown Superstarts + NBA Players (I hope we do this given the current NBA Lockout)
John Morrison
Big Show
Mark Henry
Lebron James
Dwyane Wade
Cris Bosh
Sin Cara
Air Boom
Usos
etc.

WWE Divas Title Match
Karma vs. Beth Phoenix (c)

I was thinking sometime ago.

It was reported that WWE wants to push CM Punk as Champion or being the challenger for the WWE Championship.

Now, if true, that is great. It shows how much commitment they have on Punk. My question is Punk has already been WWE and World Champion, how does winning/being WWE Champion help his stature at WM28?

It would sure help him if he challenges a big name superstar in the WWE. But who are the options?

Rock and Cena are already booked
Triple H - Already had a program with him
Undertaker - He has a streak to protect so if he takes on Punk a Punk loss could slow his momentum a bit
Shawn Michaels - Retired
Mick Foley - Wild Card but I doubt it
Chris Jericho - No guarantee he will be in the WWE by WM28
Nash - He's sort of overthehill

Then I look at the Championship contenders that might be Champion by WM28 from RAW.

The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, John Morrison, Jack Swagger, The Big Show.

Do any of them screan Punk's on the next level by beating any of them?

I thought not.

So its a struggle thinking about it. So what booking idea could work? What Idea could help Punk walk away as champion and help him elevate himself to the next level?

Then I thought of this scenario.

Alberto Del Rio is still champion by WM28 ... Punk wins the Royal Rumble.

The Natural Match Up will be Punk vs. Del Rio for the WWE Title. Not really a match of the ages right? Yeah but if the WWE can build this up I see how this can't be an intriguing build.

So were at WM28 ... it's Del Rio vs. Punk for the WWE Title. This is what happens:

- Big Promo for the Match

- Punk comes first ... good pop ... Cult of Personality!!!

- Del Rio enters next as WWE Champion ... his ring announcers go spanish ... Del Rio has a big lavish entrance (I'm talking about WM22 Triple H King Conan big time entrance)

- Justin Roberts does a formal ring announcment

- Bell Rings

- 5 seconds in the match - Del Rio's Ring Announcer distracts Punk

- Punk approaches him

- Del Rio attacks Punk at the back

- 30 seconds later ... Del Rio applies the Arm Bar (yeah you know where this is going its WM25 Orton/HHH all over again with Finishers being used in the beginning!!!)

- 30 seconds later (so were at 1:05) Punk reverses it to an Anaconda Vice ... crowd pops

- 15 seconds later ... Del Rio gets the ropes. Ref breaks the hold. (so were at the 1:20 mark)

- Both get up ... They fight for 20 seconds and ... Del Rio is in the Turn Buckle and Punk does his running bulldog (1:40 seconds)

- Punk taunts to the crowd. Crowd Pops. Del Rio's announcer climbs the ring. Punk and Ref direct their attention to the announcer. (2 min mark)

- Del Rio tries to closeline Punk from Behind but rams to the Announcer. Punk then Kicks Del Rio at the head

- Punk goes for the GTS!!!! 1-2-3 ... Punk wins the WWE Title at WM at 2:30:wtf: :wtf:

- Crowd goes Nuts!!! Huge Epic Pops for Punk. Del Rio chokes like Lebron James.

Now some may call this crazy but I see this achieving two things
- Establishes Punk as a next level star
- Gets people talking about this match because of the unexpected quick win
- Gets a mega pop at WM28 for a match not too many people are excited about (esp with Rock/Cena on the card)

However some people may concerns:
- Does this make Del Rio look weak? - Well Hogan beat Yokozuna in 12 seconds at WM9. Yoko was still a dominant player for over a year. Plus some with some smart booking for Del Rio, I'm sure he will be fine.

- This sounds like Sting vs. Jeff Hardy again at TNA and could cause a "Bulls***" backlash. Well maybe but I doubt it since the match people paid to watch is Rock vs. Cena anyways so fan will still leave home happy.

- Werent people pissed at the Cena vs. JBL match at WM21 being only 10 mins? Nah people were pissed because the match was anti-climatic and it made no sense from a storyline perspective. Why would JBL go at it alone and loose in 10 mins when all year long he used his henchmen to give him cheap wins?

Anyways that's my F***ed up idea. What do you guys think?

But before you pass judgement ... close your eyes and imagine having this scenario played at WM28. I did any it looked awsome.

The problem with your logic about it being the same as Hogan beating Yoko at WM9, Yoko had just had a 9 minute match against Bret Hart, so that is why it didn't make him look weak, it was a total swerve. If you suspend disbelief, Yoko didn't expect that to happen, he was unprepared. TBH I really cant see this working at WM28, because we're talking about guys who do have complimentary styles, and as far as not burying someone I have another name for you: Bob Backlund. He lost the title in 8 seconds against Diesel, I know Backlund was a little older then and was nearing the end of his relevance in the ring in WWE, but it totally destroyed his momentum and his relevance. In short, this is a bad idea.

Yes, a speculation thread, a fantasy booking and analysis of a superstar's future match... as if the IWC has anything better to do!

A few more names will come up over the next few days, but right off the bat let's talk Punk.

cm-punk.jpg

Now to be honest, I thought his match with Hunter would be a slow burn towards a potential matchup between the two finally at WrestleMania. Obviously WWE jumped the gun so who are we left with.

Prime/jizz in our pant candidate:Stone Cold Steve Austin

Ye kinda far fetched, but very realistic too. Don't think Austin would have any problem putting over Punk. Austin can still go, has kept in shape and in touch with wrestling world. IF done well (or just plaine done) it could be as taled about and hyped as Cena/Rock.

So if WWE kindly could...
cm-punk-meets-stone-cold-steve-austin-when-he-was-younger.jpg

make this happen, that would be wonderful, no?

Your pick Gentlemen.

Over as he is, Austin is too old and rickety. Glad he's kept in shape, but I don't want to see him in the ring except as a guest ref. As for Punk's match, I'd say let him face a returning Jericho.

I was thinking of a returning star.. like a Batista - fits the mold of someone who's got the bodybuilder physique and really was in the main event because he was a "product of the system."

To that matter, Brock Lesnar? Bobby Lashley?
I'd love to actually see if those guys came back - a Batista/Lesnar/Lashley match.. any combination of the 3.

As for Punk? A realistic idea brews on the fact that he still has bones to pick with Kevin Nash. The only thing though is that they have to build Nash up with something better than this past run they tried.. bringing him in was a hit (for shock value). Getting him to stick.. that's a different story. If they let it brew and he comes back at the right time, I could realistically think Kevin Nash should be the guy to face Punk at Wrestlemania.

I'd kinda want a trial run of that match first (I don't know if they can work a match worthy of Wrestlemania yet) before putting it on the grandest stage of all. As much as they would build it up, they'd need to deliver. That makes me think that Nash just isn't the guy.

I'd go also for Randy Orton - if for some reason they swing a feud their way. One of them would really have to turn heel.. or not necessarily. If anyone could ever go for an angle in WWE along the lines of TNA (that wrestling matters & wins/losses are important) he could have an ally.

I would've loved HBK if he were an option, but I don't believe he'd come back to wrestle.

If Del Rio can be built up enough, hang on to the title long enough and get over as the super heel to fit the bill as the guy to face CM Punk at Wrestlemania (I put it that way b/c face it, Punk is over, merchandise sales can back that up) we could have a match that will deliver. I liked the quality of work they put in with each other at HIAC, and some Raw matches they've had. I don't know who else who has a big enough name and can put on a great match with Punk.

I think and hope it's Jericho.

He's already said that if a good feud was pitched to him he'd return. Is there any better feud than CM Punk vs. Y2J? It'd be like the Angle vs. Benoit of 2012.

I only think this is a possibility cause the word is that Punk will have the title going into Mania. A surprise Jericho Rumble victory looks like it could be on the cards.

Prime choice would be Austin, of course. If this works - great, if not, then...

... how about the Undertaker? I, for one, would love to see that and would be very much looking forward to the promos leading up to the match. Alas, I'm pretty certain that the Undertaker's opponent will be Triple H, so a more realistic choice would be...

... The Miz! Ideally the Miz would be WWE Champion again at that point. These two feuding for the title - EPIC WIN! Mark my words!

I really dont want to see Punk vs Austin....
austin is done and he should stay retired...But some of you will probably piss in their pants if this match happens.
Now who i want to see his opponent,i would go with The Miz,it would be an awesome match or what about a triple theat between Punk vs Miz vs Truth, that would be epic too...
Other than that maybe he should go for the streak but i want Orton vs Taker at WM which would be better than Punk vs Taker...

Heel Danielson would be by non Austin Prime Spunk moment. get some good hype behind DBD and it could be an instant classic.

I Don't See Taker vs Punk at all, Punk and him would make a great match, but he would have to lose (as would anyone) and him in the Title main event picture would be a much better build for him, Atm Punk is seen by casual fans and the kids as the only real person who can go Head to head with Cena, so them believing him as the champion when not in a program with Cena would be easier than them beliving him able to beat Taker. Taker needs an old legend, as much as a push as the Young star who beat him would be et, its too much heat to risk on anyone bar Cena, whos busy, they could leave or pull a hardy (not punk on this one admitedly).

No Use punk as a way to either get your title over or a new star over, I'd love to see a Cody vs Punk Feud as well, great talkers and wrestlers. Punk has enough Heat to do anything at the moment no reason to waste it on taker.

Oh and Jericho would be something of a "ohgodohgod" moment.

Considering that Punk is rumored to be in the title match at 'Mania, I think that his opponent should be MIZ. Both of them are amazing both in the ring and on the mic. The other options that i would like to see are Chris Jericho.

I really doubt that he would be facing Austin/'Taker.

My 3 choices:

Jericho - He'll surely have another run in the WWE and what better way than winning the Royal Rumble and coming back to face CM Punk. potential to be the feud of the year. just imagine the mic work for a start yet alone the matches! This would be my ideal choice

Daniel Bryan - I definitely remember Cole saying something on SD before about Bryan wanting to cash in at WM. I think this could work as a face-face feud, and I would definitely be up for seeing this happening. maybe WM would be too soon for this feud as Bryan doesn't seem like a legit contender right now. then again they've got many months to build him up.

The Miz - Seems very logical and this feud will definitely happen somewhere down the line. Miz deserves to be in the main event and you know both guys will deliver. I could see this starting off with Miz winning the rumble.

Was tempted to say Del Rio, but I think between now and the rumble, these two will be feuding and to carry that on to mania might be stretching it out a bit

I think SCSA should stay retired and I reckon he will. I'm all up for him being Special Guest Ref in Punk's match though, will definitely add a bit of spice!

I would prefer CM PUNK in a world title match at WrestleMania. This because I don't remember him being in one at WM before. Good opponents for CM PUNK would be The
Miz, Alberto Del Rio or Triple H. The Miz headlined WM last year and is in the middle of the conspiracy angle. ADR is the current champion which makes him the number one guy on RAW right now besides of course Cena-man. HHH beat CM PUNK on Night of champions which imo was totally unneccesary and that whole match or feud shouldn;t have happenend. I think CM PUNK needs a rematch against HHH and it would add more if the WWE title is involved.

As for the speculated CM PUNK/SCSA match. As much as I would love to see him in the ring again, he should stay retired. If he decides to return, I wouldn't mind seeing him WM 29. he has been gone for nearly 10 years so a year later doesn't matter.

If Punk holds the title till WM28, it shouldn't be against Austin because Austin cant handle a full schedule so Punk would have to win their would be no suspense as to who would win.(thats why rock vs cena wont be for the title)

so for me it has to be Y2J think about the story they could put on with the mic skills between the two and they are both great in ring wrestlers. it will be 'The Best Wrestler in the World' vs 'The Best in the World at What he Does'

People selecting non current wrestlers frustrates me. It won't happen, or is highly unlikely.

YES well all want to see Punk vs Austin. But in all likelihood, Austin has wrestled his last match.

Jericho doesn't appear likely to return, and in all his interviews he has stated if he does come back, it'd be with a fresh new persona, which to me is as a face not heel, and punk will not be turning anytime soon.

Then, some are saying Orton. Orton faced Punk last year, and Punk-Orton is not Undertaker-HHH.

For me there's a few options. A heel Triple H vs CM Punk would be epic. And has a back history and current storyline could be worked into it.

CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan - likely the best wrestling match you could have. Bryan needs to turn however, and he'd have to cash in on Punk (technically as the smackdown winner he is supposed to cash in on smackdown). Since the MITB sole PPV that was the ruling they said at the time.

CM Punk vs Miz - I think this would be a fantastic fued, and the match could be a winner. Easily could be worked off the current angle.

CM Punk vs Alberto Del Rio - for me this is a no, currently fueding. Cant stretch these too out until then, and a double dip if they have a short fued now wouldn't pay off IMO.

CM Punk vs Undertaker - face vs face (or tweener) hell yes. I'd actually vote this first. However, I'm keen for Orton vs Undertaker at mania, as the smackdown world title match.

I would defo have to go with Punk v Y2J it would be a amazing match and promos leading upto it.

Punk v Austin would have great build but the match would just be ok

With Rock vs Cena on the card it makes little sense to sell the PPV with Punk vs Austin on the same card. They should save that match for Summerslam to increase buy rates. Plus give it the Main Event it deserves because let's face it, it wouldn't main event over Rock vs Cena.

On to Punks opponent:

1st - Chris Jericho - would be a great match between 2 wrestlers. The build would also be pretty awesome as both can talk.

2nd - The Undertaker - apart from Mick Foley in a hardcore match, the wrestler I would love to see try and end the streak at WM 28 is CM Punk.

3rd - The Miz - build would be interesting as both are good talkers. Miz can hold his own in the ring and this would be a very fresh programme.

1st: Chris Jericho: My top pick, the best in the world vs the best in the world at what he does. Both are great on the mic and in the ring so this feud can easily become a classic.

2nd: HHH/Vince Mcmahon: I would still like to see Punk go full fledged anti-establishment. With Punk facing the cause of all these conspiracy to close the storyline. The evil boss vs anti-establishment has always been my favorite and Punk is a good choice to be the Austin of this era. Of course for HHH to be available a surprise opponent is needed for The Undertaker, Sting anyone?

I don't want Austin to risk himself for one more match so I wouldn't want to see that happen, most of the others in the roster has either feuded with Punk or not good enough to feud with him so I did not include a 3rd choice.

This just puts the light on how few heels the E has at the moment.

1. Daniel Bryan.- if you remember these two were set to fued before Punk had the hip issues. They teased us by having Punk and Danielson stare each other down on RAW.

There are 2 ways this would work. Punk (and the majority of us) have condemned the WWE for pushing big men who can't work. So Punk decides to show what a real wrestling match is, by picking his opponent, one Daniel Bryan. And they simply put on a 25 minute wrestling epic. They kayfabe agree to steal the show from Rock / Cena (ala Savage / Steamboat did from Andre / Hogan)

Or Punk goes into WrestleMania as the champ facing a the number 1 contender / heel Bryan. But Bryan has the Money in the Bank contract, so the catch is, Bryan can cash it in that night, making Punk beat him 2 times, back-to-back. This allows Punk and Bryan to have a long match, and puts Punk over huge by having him overcome the odds by winning twice.

2. John Cena - Punk beats Bryan for his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania. And cashes it in that night, after Cena predictably beats the Rock, assuming Cena has the title (but when doesn't Cena have the title??)

3. Miz / R-Truth. This could be a 2 on 1 match. Giving Punk long odds, thus a more impressive win.

4. HHH. I really wish they didn't hot-shot this match already. There really was little to no build up for this match. There was panic and out of desperation decided to throw that match on PPV. With HHH as COO, they could have easily stretched out the angle (much like that could have with the walk-out). But there is still time to build this up even more.

5. Stone Cold - The E has already shown Austin and Punk interact. And the Twitter jabs back and forth are great.

Although I think at this point a CM Punk Vs. Austin match is inevitalble considering the comments both men have made towards the press this year, I highly doubt it will be at Wrestlemania 28. With the Rocks return match against Cena having over a year of build up, tacked on with all the years of speculation I highly doubt Austin will want his return to play second fiddle to the great one. Not to mention its in the Rocks home town and its almost certain that his hall of fame induction will be announced that night. It just doesn't make any sense to throw Austins return in that mix when it is just as big if not bigger than a Rock return. The earliest I see that happening is the following Summer Slam where all the focus can be on them during another top tier PPV.

Daniel Bryan would be my first choice. This would be the best possible match they could set up. The in-ring work would bring the house down and would be the exact type of match you need to follow something as explosive as Cena vs. The Rock, to keep the audience on the edge of their seats till the end of the show. Not to mention Bryan has already said he plans on cashing in at Wrestlemania and its been reported that Sheamus vs. Henry is currently penciled in as the working WHC match at this years Mania. The only problem with this match up is that the WWE will have to start building up Daniel Bryan right now, it seems that they have been using the one step forward two steps back approach with him. Every time he does something big, like winning MITB, they knock him down a few pegs by having him job to a guy like Sin Cara then take a beating after the match. If he's gonna be in the WWE title picture at the grandest stage of them all, they need to start portraying him as a dominant force now.

If I had to put money on who is opponent would be I'd say Randy Orton. As I said before the current status for the WHC match at Mania thats being reported is Sheamus vs. Henry. That being said it is still very early and that will most likley change ten times before Mania actually airs. But as of right now where does that leave Orton? Lets face it, its Wrestlemania and the WWE title is the crowning jewel of the company. With their top guy Cena already booked they're gonna want their other two big money drawers (Punk n Orton) duking it out for the belt. Orton Just makes the most sence here.

As for some of the others Jerhico would be good if he returns as a mega heel, but no plans currently in the works for his return means there definatley isn't any current plans for him at Mania. As for Kevin Nash, if he is booked in the WWE title match at Wrestlemania, I will boycot the WWE untill HHH is removed as head of talent development, because if they're throwing a washed up played out fool like nash in the biggest match on the biggest night than HHH has failed to develope any talent. If Nash is used at all I'd like to see him along with the other members of the Klique interfeer in the HHH Vs. Undertakers streak match. Having Taker go through ledgends like HBK, Nash, HHH, and still coming out on top would be a perfect way to cap off his undefeated streak.

My ideal match for Punk would be: Cm Punk vs. John Morrison vs. The Miz for the WWE Championship

All three of these men have had at least some history together. The back story is there. John Morrison and The Miz were tag champs together and split. Then they fueded and has shown they can have great matches together. The Raw Main Event from the first Raw this year is a great example of that.

John Morrison and Cm Punk had a fued over the ECW Championship and also had decent matches.

The Miz and Cm Punk don't have a lot of history together but because of the recent storyline it seems like they can build a decent fued between the two easily. The Miz can continue the outsider gimmick and continue jumping Cm Punk and maybe have a match or two before WM to help build.

Here's my thought process. The WWE has been doing the Youth Movement for almost a couple years now. They can knock out two birds with one stone so to speak. The Miz and Cm Punk are already seen as legit Main Eventers. Cm Punk is Extremely over right now and The Miz draws in great heat. John Morrison is or has come SO Close to breaking through that glass ceiling. Around Survivor Series have him start getting motivated, pumped up, and ready to main event WM. Have him come out say he is ready to break through that glass ceiling and he's not going to let anything stop him from doing so. He sets a goal of winning the Royal Rumble and Main Eventing Mania. Triple H says if he is truly ready he can win the RR entering it at Number 1. John Morrison accepts the challenge. He goes on to win the Rumble and as he is getting ready to sign the contract to main event WM the Miz attacks him from behind and signs the contract instead. John Morrison says that was his spot and that he earned it. Miz reminds Morrison that he(miz) is the Shawn Michaels of the tag team and and morrison is the Jannetty. Morrison says that is wrong because Miz cheated his way through to the main event and had to cheat and rely on Alex Riley to win all his WWE Title Matches. Micheals didn't need to cheat and neither does he (morrison). He (morrison) proved that time and time again and now its his time to break through the glass ceiling. Triple H says he can't change the match but he can add to it and Morrison did earn the title shot unlike the Miz. He makes it a Triple Threat Match.

In the meantime TLC CM Punk wins the WWE Title. He successfully defends it at the RR and Elimination Chamber and goes to the WM Main Event.

We end up with: Wrestlemania 28: WWE Championship Match: CM Punk vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison.

That's my idea in a nutshell. You don't have to like it, just don't bash me to much over it.

Note: If this storyline sounds familar it's because the storyline for WM 21 inspired this one.

Three WM28 Dream matches for me involving CM Punk

Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk-Won't happen. Not yet, anyway. If WWE actually start building Bryan up, and he wins the title at WM and winds up on Raw again, there collision is inevitable and will be epic. WM is just to soon, but I would love to see it happen. Maybe WM 29?

Chris Jericho vs CM Punk-the feud they teased us with a couple years ago. Punk losing to him for the IC. Beating Jericho during KOTR. Losing the HWC to him without being able to defend it himself. Great in ring, great promos. Again, epic

Steve Austin vs CM Punk-Great promos, just not sure about in ring. Austin has stayed in shape, but he will be rusty to a certain degree, no doubt. And as much as I enjoy Stone Cold, Punk is another level when it come to in ring ability. Would still be great, but when it comes to in ring action, which is what I care about the most, this is the bottom of my list
