WWE RAW 11/14/2011 - The Dwayne, The Champ, The Twit, The Truth, The Miz and Brodus

Totally agree with the Alberto part at the moment he is so fucking boring and gets a reaction so quiet you can hear people yawn. Alberto needs to go back to Smackdown in the Draft he was much better there.

I noticed a few wrestlers who suffered from what Alberto has and i call it the "Smackdown Home Sickness Disease" wrestlers like Edge, Batista, Rey Mysterio and some others had this where they just worked better on Smackdown.

I said main event not promo.. because lets face it.. the rock is not in a match.

I also have no quarrels about him closing out the show with cena in a promo or scuffel (which seems like might happen)..

However I do think the last match on the card SHOULD BE the WWE/World champs.. otherwise... its meaningless.

last match = main event.

anything after is just gravy..
No, last match does not equal Main Event. Main Event is the closing segment of the show. Rock/Cena/Miz/Truth was the last segment of the show.

And the open of an hour is bigger then the 2nd to last segment, it is used to help draw people who may be channel surfing after another show ends. Henry/ADR vs. Punk/Show opened an hour.

Buildup to Survivor Series has been very disappointing.

It better be worth the money I'm paying for nosebleed seats at the Garden.

Also, the notion that Punk and ADR should go on right before Rock and Cena shows a lack of understanding on how you book a multi-hour wrestling show.

I enjoyed this episode. Rock walking down and taking care of Foley was the highlight of the evening. Hell, I even found Cena to be semi-humorous this evening. That's not usually the case.

Awesome Raw for the most part tonight, could've done without JR/Cole bullshit, but that kinda goes without saying, & at least they got it out of the way right away. Cena This is your Life was fucking hilarious, especially when Poppa Cena came out.

Except it didn't. Santino and Nash came after Punk vs. ADR as well as Orton vs. Barrett. Plenty of time filled between the two spots.

Watching Raw now. Remember when CM Punk was the hottest thing to happen in wrestling since SCSA? They really dropped the ball with that one, eh? I don't recall SCSA putting the Million Dollar Dream on Kevin Kelly.

Just got back from the Garden, and the one thing that sticks out to me is that: damn, The Rock has still got it. We, the crowd, were eating his words up all night, and loving it.

You missed MAson Ryan signing autographs by the wrestler's cars, dude

For the love of fuck, whoever makes the LD next week, please don't include Brodus Clay in the title again. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...yeah whatever. Brodus better win the WWE title next week...

Raw felt like a chore. =/

I felt the same way. Probably because of the third hour.

Also, the notion that Punk and ADR should go on right before Rock and Cena shows a lack of understanding on how you book a multi-hour wrestling show.
Care to explain?

The WWE didn't book Punk well, but it's also a case of what I said from the very beginning. When Punk has to start playing by the same rules as everyone else, he won't be nearly as exciting. I called it a long time ago.

I think they can recover Punk's character, and might plan to do so on a build to Wrestlemania, but right now Punk's momentum is not very good.

You don't put main eventers on at like 10:25 and put people who aren't important on at ten. If you do that, the people who are tuning in after another show has ended have a greater possibility of tuning right back out.

I was referring to Raw, not the PPV, if that wasn't clear.

Was referring to the guy who said that it should have been the last match of the show. The way they did it was fine.

That didn't make any sense at all to me, so I'm hoping you're addressing an argument in this thread I didn't read?

Randy Orton is the main event, yet a match with BOTH WWE and World champs aren't?

I love Randy but this is a bad sign.. the last match on the show should end with the world and/or heavyweight title. Having both together to further the two main event matches for the upcoming PPV makes sense. Why isn't this happening?

I get it, the ROCK/Cena.. but I said last MATCH.. Orton/Barret match should have come before the Show/Punk vs Del Rio/Henry match. (nothing should mean more than the world and wwe titles)

Oh well.. :(

/end rant
That.

Yeah, that was pretty cool as well. I won't say another bad word about him after watching him sign autographs for 20 minutes :) Oh, and Cody Rhodes as well. He didn't sign as many, but still cool that he signed some. And actually, I lied, the one thing that I will take away from the show is that Mason Ryan, Cody Rhodes, and Sheamus ride together :D I just like that combination of Real Life Pals :D
