WMD : Official Spoiler Page

My brother texted me throughout the show. He mentioned that Kane got a bigger pop than Orton in the main event. He thought it was an awesome show.

Other points he mentioned:

During the Street Fight, while battling on the announce table, Orton's leg fell into the space where they keep the monitors. He was limping afterward. Orton won with an RKO onto a chair.

Henry attacked Kane after the match, did the same spot to Kane as he did to Big Show at MITB.

Sheamus apparently got a major pop. Barrett for some reason got somewhat of a pop as well.

Just trying to piece together things from his texts:

Alicia Fox defeated Natalya for Superstars I'm guessing. No I'm not kidding.

McGillicutty defeated Trent Baretta in the dark match.

Dark Main Event saw Christian retain the World Title over Orton. Rhodes and Dibiase attacked Orton after.

I'm leery about the Kane thing. Always possible the section he was in biased his perception of the proceedings. That tends to happen to me a lot.

Any other tidbits, Tyson?

Edited in some further thoughts. I just got very quick results along with some observations he made. Not entirely sure on the Kane thing either, just reporting what I was told. He had pretty solid seats from the picture he sent me.

He was actually pretty psyched to supply spoilers. He was asking me all night to post up what he was texting me. So I've done my brotherly duty for the night. Maybe I can convince him to start posting around here for a change.

Good idea for Bryan to hold off until Mania. He could use the build, and it fits his character. I think he'd benefit a lot from a good run as IC Champion or perhaps even a tag title run with Bateman. It's almost impossible that they won't feature him as long as he holds the case, so you could guarantee that if he has a title, he'll be in a feud for it, on PPV, etc., etc. Just build him up into a featured upper midcarder. Given that he'd be a total newbie to the stage he'd have to be facing an established heel when he gets to Mania. I suppose Christian is the likely culprit at this point in time but the WWE has shown they're not afraid to have somebody jump brands for the sake of a title match, so we'll see. Christian vs Bryan for the WHC at WrestleMania 28 sounds like a damn fine match from where I stand, however.

I fucking love it. I just want to laugh in the faces of all those people who doubted Bryan or said he couldn't make it or that the WWE would never push him because he's not good enough et , etc, blah blah blah, well FUCK THAT SHIT SON CAUSE DANIEL BRYAN WON MONEY IN THE BANK AND WILL BE A FUTURE WORLD CHAMP.

BITCH!

That World Title will be fucking epic around Bryan Danielson's waist.

And so far for this year's Wrestlemania we have Cena vs. Rock and Bryan Danielson vs. World Champion? That's tremendous already. You add the possibilities of CM Punk vs. HHH and The Undertaker vs. a big name... this is already shaping up to be the best fucking 'Mania in years.

No, but in this situation for once it actually makes sense to wait until Mania.

Take your negative nancy shoes and put them in the closet. This here is a Dickbutt mark thread.

DICKBUTT FOR WWE CHAMP 2012!

I still remember during one of Punk's last ROH matches the commentators went to make a point about him seeing the potential in Punk, specifically saying he could see "Punk main eventing a Wrestlemania with HHH"
Kinda nutty.

Actually it doesn't because he has next to no star power and the odds of him actually cashing in at Mania are so long it's incomprehensible but whatever.

Um yeah, it makes perfect sense for him to wait until Wrestlemania, I don't see how it doesn't. Bryan is a very tradition oriented wrestler, so of course he'd want to use the MITB fairly in a pre-scheduled match instead of running in after another title match to cash in, and at the biggest stage of them all, Wrestlemania, it would only make sense.

And I'll gladly take your "odds" on Bryan being champ or whatever. He WILL be a future champ. I could totally see him beating someone like Christian for the WHC title.

Oh and "star power" is irrelevant. Nobody has fucking star power in this business anymore outside of The Rock and John Cena.

Yeah....you're dumber than I thought you were.

Tell you what. If Bryan cashes in at MITB, I won't ban you. If he doesn't, you're gone. Deal?

Alberto Del Rio has next to no star power and he challenged the World Champion at this year's 'Mania... no reason why we can't believe Bryan won't get the same opportunity.

Did I say that's what was unquestionably going to happen KB? No, I didn't. I simply explained that if they chose that path with Bryan (waiting until Mania) it would make perfect sense, and explained why. I didn't make any proclamations about how that's what 100% WAS going to happen.

Here's a deal for you if you'd like: perhaps try being a bit less cynical and pessimistic, yeah? You don't have to rain on everyone's parade and be so negative all the time man.

Bryan says that he is the first winner to say when he wil be cashing in the contract. He says that it will be at Wrestlemania!

Hasn't Bryan heard of RVD or Mr Kennedy? strange...

As far as I know, it was only once that somebody said they'd cash in at Mania, and that was Kennedy - a guy who was both injury prone and with potential behavioral issues. So, when he got hurt, they decided against him. Bryan has almost no history of injury and has no known backstage problems. Heck, by all indication, he has some good allies back there, considering he was fired, and upon rehiring, he main evented SummerSlam and won a title.

The WWE doesn't give the MITB case on a whim. They give it to a guy they intend to be champion - this has been the case every single time, except for Kennedy, who dropped the ball entirely. Kennedy's failure to cash in at Mania was nobody's fault but his.

The star power "problem" is something that they'll work toward resolving in the build up, as I discussed previously.

The ball is in Bryan's court on this one, and he's shown himself capable of handling it. If he doesn't screw up, there's no reason he shouldn't cash in at WrestleMania.

RVD did say when he was going to be cashing it in. maybe with not as much notice as Mr Kennedy or Bryan but he still said when he was going to be doing it.
