WMD : Official Spoiler Page

To continue JMT's point from earlier, ADR hadn't even debuted by this point last year and was in one of the main matches at WrestleMania. Reportedly Vince quite likes Bryan so it would not be that big of a stretch for him to go into Mania with the shot.

- There are people in WWE who don't know this for sure but strongly suspect there is some kind of working agreement between Ring of Honor and WWE. There are also people in ROH who think the same thing. At the same time, people on both sides insist there is nothing going on between the two companies.

Sources insist that some of the things CM Punk spoke about in his infamous RAW promo a few weeks back will start finding their way onto WWE TV soon. For example, Punk talked about Triple H taking over and he began that storyline on this week's RAW. Punk also mentioned John Laurinaitis and Colt Cabana, both who appeared on WWE TV in the past week. While Cabana wasn't named by the announcers, he was shown at ringside on Money in the Bank and was photographed with Punk and the WWE Title in Chicago after the pay-per-view. Punk also mentioned Ring of Honor, which adds to the speculation that WWE may be working with them.

For what its worth, Cabana has told at least one indy promotion that he's worked regularly with that he's not taking any more bookings with them after next month.

Makes sense. ROH is a breeding ground for future WWE Superstars and poses no threat to WWE in terms of audience or ratings. It benefits both sides to work together.

Alberto Del Rio has next to no star power and he challenged the World Champion at this year's 'Mania... no reason why we can't believe Bryan won't get the same opportunity.

More than Bryan. By a lot. Not to mention two completely different things.

Did I say that's what was unquestionably going to happen KB? No, I didn't. I simply explained that if they chose that path with Bryan (waiting until Mania) it would make perfect sense, and explained why. I didn't make any proclamations about how that's what 100% WAS going to happen.

Here's a deal for you if you'd like: perhaps try being a bit less cynical and pessimistic, yeah? You don't have to rain on everyone's parade and be so negative all the time man.

The irony slays me.

Nah KB, you've been negative as fuck lately. What's wrong with, you know, enjoying yourself?

Daniel Bryan came back from being fired, made himself look like gold in the main event of SummerSlam, made the soon to be WWE Champion tap like Mr. Bojangles on more than one occasion, and was over with the crowd. Then the Bellas killed him. He was getting far larger crowd reactions than ADR before he was given the dead weight of the Bellas. Just because he won the Rumble doesn't mean he has star power.

Actually it does but whatever.

Also anyone teaming with Team Cena vs. Nexus would have gotten a huge reaction. Since then he's done.......what? When he's not feuding with Miz he's done.......what?

Still don't understand how it wouldn't work. They would essentially do the same thing they did with Del Rio. They'll try to build him up going into Wrestlemania and if it works, he'll get a higher position on the card. If it doesn't work, like it didn't with Del Rio, he'll open the show in a forgettable match. Oh the joys of having 2 World Titles.

Held the United States Championship from September to March, feuded with Sheamus and Cody Rhodes. ADR has feuded with Rey, Edge, lost a string of World title matches. They both won a Money in the Bank contract. Is ADR more likely to cash in soon? Yes. Why? Because WWE wants to make him a star. He's getting there, but he's not really a star yet. They're practically in the same place. ADR's probably slightly higher, but not a lot.

Cashing in at 'Mania will help Bryan build his starpower. It could also be a triple threat match for all we know. I'd personally love to see Jericho vs Bryan with Jericho getting the belt at maybe Royal Rumble.

So.....he's a white Kofi?

Del Rio comes in, injures Christian, feuds with Edge, does nothing but talk about the world title, wins the Rumble and fights for the world title at Mania. Bit higher on the food chain no?

Jack Swagger won the world title, beat Randy Orton clean and did nothing but talk himself up. Did he have star power? No. He had credibility, but not star power. That's what Del Rio has. Just because he's higher on the card does not mean he has star power.

If they really do intend on making it Mania, they have plenty of time to work on Bryan. They just need to give him time and effort, and a mic during feuds so he can connect with the crowd. Blah, blah, connects via wrestling, blah, blah.

Everyone is going to be pissed when we find out the DBD storyline is the one Heyman was going to use for him in TnA. Mark Henry is going to be the monster heel that smashes everyone for the next 8 months while DBD taps everyone out.

It's the WWE. I'm sure if they want DBD to be on the main event, they will market him as a main eventer. The WWE PR machine can do wonders.

You are flat out wrong if you think Alberto Del Rio has more star power than Daniel Bryan. He doesn't. At all. Even slightly. Nobody knows who the fuck Alberto Del Rio is. You could say the same for Bryan, but ADR sure as fuck does not have ANY star-power whatsoever. He was barely a "star" in Mexico.

The irony slays me.

Oh yes cause I'm always so negative right?

Except I'm not, and I'm sick of being labeled with that stereotype when I do nothing but talk positively about just about every wrestling promotion under the sun. I'm a very positive person when it comes to wrestling, and I enjoy marking out and talking to people about the possibilities my favorite wrestlers might have in the WWE.

You, on the other hand, just like to sit around, criticize, and rain on people's parade anytime they start to enjoy themselves. You're the "NO FUN!" brigade, and the shit is older than dirt. And this entire thread? Nothing but you trolling DB fans to get a reaction out of them while spouting some bullshit so laughably misinformed and flat out wrong about DB that I'm going to giggle and chuckle with the power of a thousand marks the day when he wins the WWE title. I'm going to think of you, on your knees, bawling your eyes out because everything you thought you knew has been shattered. And I shall laugh, uproariously. In my head I'll just imagine you on your knees looking to the sky, asking God why he has forsaken you before breaking down and looking something like this:

ANYWAYS, onto something else besides the topic of people who aren't *********ing to misery while using the tears of marks for lubrication. Smackdown sounds groovy this week (GAH I'M SO NEGATIVE) and I actually look forward to the Christian/Zeke match, they had a solid match back at the 2010 Rumble.

Nonsense Shocky! Aren't you listening to KB? Daniel Bryan's a NOBODY! HE AIN'T NEVER GON WIN THE DUBYA DUBYA E TITLE! HE'S A VANILLA MIDGET! HE AIN'T NEVER GON MAKE IT TO THE WWE!

Bryan and Alberto had pretty much the same amount of starpower at the time each guy debuted. If anything Bryan was slightly more known. Del Rio is a bigger star today due to his push and WWE are trying to make Bryan big by giving him the MITB briefcase and they will probably push him heavily in the intervening months. So what is all the talk about?
