WMD : Official Spoiler Page

THURSDAY NOTES
- The current Crimson vs. Samoa Joe feud is being considered as a big deal. Crimson has been given a push with a winning streak and while it's recognized Crimson is green, the feeling is that Joe is a good enough worker with credibility with the fans to get it over.

- Former WCW star Juventud Guerrera recently tried getting back into Mexico's AAA promotion but was turned down. He suggested that he come in part of the AAA vs. TNA feud on TNA's side.

- AAA wanted Kurt Angle for a top spot on their TripleMania show but Angle charges a lot more money than the other TNA talents so he wasn't used.

- Jesse Neal missed the last few TNA Impact Wrestling TV tapings because of a neck injury he suffered back at the Sacrifice pay-per-view when Hernandez dropped him hard with his finisher. No word yet on when he will return.

- The WWE Tough Enough website notes that footage of WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat training with finalists Andy and Luke will air on this Monday's live finale. Here is the official preview for Monday's show from USA Network:

"The last two contestants standing prepare for a final match at the WWE training facility in Tampa, Florida. Luke and Andy are surprised to discover who their opponent will be, and after some intense final training from WWE legend Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, the two take their shot at Bill in front of a cheering crowd. Stone Cold has the last word when he announces the winner live at RAW."

- Word going around is that TNA does not agree with Universal Studio's decision to ban fans from using mobile devices to send spoilers online. Word is that the first time you're caught, you will be warned but with repeat violations the fan will be banned from the arena for a definite period of time which could be a month to three months to permanently. While a fan was ejected at Monday's tapings for providing spoilers, we hope to have more details soon.

- TNA originally wanted to bring Chris Harris back to reform America's Most Wanted with James Storm while Robert Roode moved onto a singles career but after Harris' recent return, officials felt he wasn't over enough and wasn't in good enough shape. While that idea has been dropped, they are still going with the idea of breaking Beer Money up.

- Regarding WWE changing the October pay-per-view from Uprising to Vengeance, the decision to call it Uprising was made and then they found out that the Dragon Gate USA promotion is already using that name for a pay-per-view.

- In addition to FCW talent Alex Koslov, luchador Averno was one of the unidentified wrestlers in the Sin Cara in-ring videos that WWE shot in Los Angeles back before he made his debut.

Averno saying he hasn't signed with WWE is being done so he can keep interest in his final match with CMLL. The belief is that Averno will come into WWE without his mask and one name thrown around for him is Rey Ortiz II.

Regarding Cara, there was concern about him after his pay-per-view match against Chavo Guerrero but WWE officials are determined to make him work because he has been promoted as the first talent brought on by Triple H. There has always been skepticism of Cara's inability to speak English and right now, he's mainly communicating through one of the WWE referees who is bi-lingual.

- WWE officials have discussed bringing back the Championship Scramble match for one of the main event matches at a pay-per-view this summer.

- ESPN's "E:60" program may be doing a piece on Scott Hall soon. The feature could possible tie in with the death of Randy Savage and the recent story on wrestler deaths.

Johnny Curtis is clearly WWE's version of Orlando Jordan after that segment.

Also there was a sign that read: Macho 3:16 says I just stopped the rapture. I'm also glad they're continuing the Orton/Christian feud I could watch them hav ematches all year and never get sick of them.

Tag match? Sounds great. Sin Cara averages one non-botched move a match, so have Bryan do the actual, you know, good wrestling and Sin Cara can do a flip for the finish.

This WWE style where you don't fuck up every match is hard to master, I know. Real unique variant of pro wrestling.

They left the "Christ-ian! Christ-ian!" chants in but I fear the fan reports were somewhat exaggerated - they're very audible but not as earth-shaking as I'd built up in my mind.

Just finished watching SmackDown. The best SmackDown in recent memory for me and seen as I can't wait two hours to talk about it non-spam, I'll post here.

Jinder Mahal debuted. Awesome.
Johnny Curtis debuted. Doubly awesome.
Cody Rhodes and Daniel Bryan feuding. Awesome.
Christian turning heel. So. Fucking. Awesome.

Seriously though, Johnny Curtis and the milk made me laugh more than I should've. Impossible to tell whether he was a face or heel. Brilliant.

SATURDAY NOTES
-- On Twitter, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin commented on the possibility of a second season of Tough Enough.

He wrote, "I have had many questions regarding a season 2 of Tough Enough...no word yet. Very interesting..."

The WWE Hall of Famer also stated last Monday during an interview with AfterBuzz TV that he does not know whether there will be a second season.

-- WWE.com has added newcomers Jinder Mahal and Johnny Curtis to the SmackDown roster page.

- The Washington Post reports that Linda McMahon will decide in the next month if she will run for the US Senate in Connecticut in 2012.

- There has been concern expressed within WWE this past week regarding SmackDown live event business. When WWE did the Draft after Edge retired, the idea was that SmackDown had to be made strong enough that it could still draw on the road. It's been noted that Orton, Christian and Sheamus aren't doing good business on top and WWE went in with the idea that Orton would be strong enough to carry the brand, as far as the business side of things go. All of this likely has to do with this weekend's SmackDown shows being canceled and moved to September.

- It appears that Mick Foley's storyline "firing" on Impact Wrestling is his exit from TNA. Foley's deal expires in September but internally, it's considered that he's pretty much done and won't be back. There has been some frustration from both sides about their relationship for a while.

- As noted earlier in the week, a strange incident happened with Mark Henry after Tuesday's SmackDown tapings where he was sent out for a dark main event and waited for around 20 minutes while several theme songs hit but no opponent came out.

Word going around WWE is that the whole thing was a big rib on Henry to see how long he would stay in the ring before getting mad and storming off, which he did. Henry was actually told that he would be wrestling a dark main event against Sin Cara. He and Cara actually called spots for their match earlier in the evening.

Henry was sent to the ring and when he went to cut a promo to set up Cara's entrance, the mic was cut out. Henry finally stormed to the back and demanded to know what was going on. Vince McMahon's theme song was the last one played during the rib, which is fitting because the whole thing was Vince's personal joke on Henry.

Vince had already left the arena but according to a source, he directed the entire thing via cell phone. A source in WWE production adds that producer Kevin Dunn was in on the whole thing also, laughing as it was going on.

The impression left backstage among the other talents was that it was funny, but misplaced. The feeling was that it's one thing to pull a joke on one wrestler from another, but when WWE is doing the jokes it sends a bad message, especially when they are ribbing a veteran like Mark Henry. It was also pointed out how WWE shouldn't have pulled a joke on Henry at the fans expense who had to sit through it and were expecting a match.

-- Former X Division Champion Suicide was removed from the official TNA Wrestling website's roster page Friday.

The character was first dismissed last October, but returned at the January 31 Xplosion taping with Christopher Daniels once again donning the mask. Suicide last appeared at the May 16 Xplosion taping, losing to "The Pope" D’Angelo Dinero in the opening match of the Xplosion Championship Tournament.

Melina gave the following update on John Morrison on her twitter:

"John is doing great. It's going to be awhile 'till he can wrestle again. Strength in his arm is the same since the day of surgery. He went back to the doctor this week. He's on his way to recovering. We just (h)ave to (b)e patient. I'm just happy he's not in pain and that He Is getting better."

Everything I have heard about Dunn makes me think that the guy is a fucking cunt who panders to Vince at every opportunity..

Yeah that Mark Henry rib sounds like bullshit. It's one thing when the wrestlers play jokes on each other, that's expected, but when a higher up plays a joke like that on a vet and than doesn't even stick around for the aftermath? That's just a dick move by all accounts.

Glad Foley is probably heading out of TNA. I'd like to have him back in the WWE in some form or another if he can patch things up with Vince.

The fact that it happened in front of an arena full of fans is bullshit. If they had ended it with sending out Sin Cara and letting the fans go home happy it'd just be a decent rib, but the fact that they did it just to piss off Mizzark (who by all accounts is the nicest guy in wrestling) just angers me. I feel bad for the fans, for Mark, and for Sin Cara since he was supposed to be having the match and they had already gone over it.

Didn't reports say that WWE plugging Foley's book on like 2 RAW's was Vince's way of apoligizing to him? Either way what happened between Vince and Foley?

I've heard that Foley left on good terms. From WWE that is.

Really? I seem to remember reading a Foley interview once he joined TNA where he was talking about how he left pretty much solely because he was sick of having Vince screaming in his ear all the time during TV tapings at the commentary table.

Yes, but Vince does that to every commentator. I don't think he'd (Vince) plug Countdown to Lockdown if they'd had a major falling out.
