The WZ Ask a Staff Member Thread

Do you think it really makes that much of a noticeable difference though? Especially in time when most people have very impressive Internet speeds?

Obviously it's a moot point if you don't want to entertain it.

From my personal experience, whenever I'm on this site via a phone or Ipod, the pages load extremely slowly with a gif or moving picture on it. If there's 1 or 2 it's ok but if it became a thing most people had, threads would be very laggy. I mean if I went on Chrome's meme thread right now it would be like watching paint dry. It would also be very ignorant on the staff's behalf if they ignored the minority which do indeed have a slow connection.

Can someone please explain to me how to start a thread? Thank you for your time.

Go into the section it belongs in (check the descriptions listed under the sections on the main page to help figure it out, or you may ask any of us on staff where it belongs).

Check through the past month's worth of thread topics to make sure this topic has not already been made.

Then when in that section click the red "New Thread" box above the active threads. Type it up and submit. :)

Thank you. I appreciate it!

I'm running Adblock Plus on Google Chrome and advertisements on certain words are getting through the filter (for example, on Santino, WWE and safety scissors on this page at the moment). When I try to manually block these links, it ends up removing those words entirely from view instead of just the hyperlink (as an example, my location of England's Joey was changed to simply Joey). Is this a problem on my end or the forums end?

A few words, namely the word 'forums' slips through on me as well. I experienced it on Reddit yesterday too, so I think it is an issue on Adblocks end.

Go on ad block then filter preferences and then untick/uncheck the box.

Twice in a week now I've had notification that my account's been locked for 15 minutes due to incorrect passwords that I've not done.

Someone's trying to get into my account, the IP is from Ukraine.
