NFL Week 1 LD - YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYE SYESYESYESYESYES!!!

Well, week 1 couldn't have gone any worse.

First of all, props to RG3 and the Washington defense. RG3 was simply unreal. I expected him to play well, even really well, but not completely lights out like he did. And don't let the 32 points fool you (7 of those came off a block punt and another 7 when Washington's D wasn't going 100%), Washington's defense was spectacular. They had constant pressure on Brees with their front four alone, which allowed them to keep all their defenders back and those guys did an awesome job limiting the Saints receivers.

All that said, Sean Payton was missed big time. The Saints offense just couldn't get a good rhythm going all game and quite frankly, a lot of the play calling was absolute shit. Couple that with tremendously dumb penalties... the Saints just weren't themselves today.

I have hope that they'll rebound and get their shit together, but I'm nowhere as optimistic about the season as I was before today. Tough game to sit through.

RGIII was awesome today. Could definitely see them be a playoff threat with that D and improved QB play.

RGIII was simply brilliant today.. skin defense was good too.. this is the begining of a new era.

Randy Moss is back, motherfuckers.

I honestly can't believe this; I thought the Packers were going to crush San Francisco. It's still early though....

Touchdown 49'ers... :banghead:

In a shocking turn of events, all three of the Packers' NFC North rivals won their games today. This San Fran defense is just killing Ridger's receivers.

I know, I was just making a statement in general. Don't like the Packers. Can't decide if they or the Bears are more annoying.

Ooo almost had a brawl on the field! Jesus these penalties are ridiculous, on both sides too.

Hold that thought.

TOUCHDOWN PACKERS! FINLEY WITH THE LAMBO LEAP! TOUCHDOOOOOOOOOWN PACKERS!!!

Anyways, yes. The penalties are crazy.

I was, but they are making ridiculous calls on both sides. 49'ers should have been called for that roughness, but it wouldn't have mattered stacked on with the Interference. 49'ers have had almost as many offensive calls made on them. Almost. The refs are just too over-zelaous, not letting anybody play.

In other news, with somebody PLEASE stop that ex-Vikings douchebag Randy Moss!?!

Yeah, it was. It's just that everyone out there is trigger happy, and the refs are either making bad calls or making them late.

The Jets are going to be a glorious disaster this year. Can't wait.
41-7 5 minutes into the 3rd. Coasted to a 48-28 final. Some disaster. Tebow did what he's gonna do, come in occasionally as a Wildcat option, occasionally as a skill position guy (TE/WR/RB), Punt Protector, and Onside-Kick recoverer.

STEPHEN HILL TD AGAIN
Kid was beast. Love that kid, he's gonna be a monstrous addition, replacing Plaxico Burress as the Red Zone Threat, AND he's a deep threat too.

Against Buffalo. As soon as Sanchez starts struggling, which he will, the demand for Tebow is going to go through the roof.

I don't think it was a good idea for the 49'ers to try and run down the clock. I get trying to keep Green Bay from having time, but when you're the strongest defense in the NFL and you're facing one of the strongest offenses, and only up by 6 points... I say you for as many points before the half as you can. Show you have faith in your QB.

Who is better then you think.

This. You gave up 23 to Buffalo in less than 2 qtrs. To Buffalo.
They were playing a prevent defense, allowing the Bills to run out the clock. Plus, they didn't have Revis for the 4th quarter (precautionary after a minor head injury, he'll be fine for Next Week).

I love how assholes try to devalue a dominant performance just because you don't like the team. If you're gonna make a fuss about preseason, like everyone has, you need to make a big deal about the Regular Season, which actually matters. Fact of the matter is the Jets beat the fuck out of their opponent, who has a good defense (and a beast front 4, which did shit all day).
