WWE Survivor Series 2011 – SmackDown's Laid, Truth's Free and WZ'ers to Invade

I really hope the story of the wrestlemania match is not John Cena earns the Rock's respect.

Agreed.

I won't go crazy and predict a heel turn for Cena, but I think it would be great. No matter what he does, they're not going to love him. Plain and simple. That's your storyline.

I enjoyed this show. It was a two-man show, with one feud being the focus, but it worked. Rock's big enough to ignore the rest of the show being nothing more than average. I had fun.

I can't believe I missed Alberto Del Rio doing his darndest to pull out CM Punk's ball bag. Once in a lifetime opportunity, you know?

It would be a good way of passing the torch.

It would be a good way to get me to vomit. Also, it won't work. I don't see how WWE can turn Cena heel though. They don't have anyone else ready to be the face of the company. The matchup is intriguing but I am not sure there are any desirable outcomes.

I hardly think Cena needs the Rock to pass the torch to him. Cena has singlehandedly been carrying that torch for the last several years, while the Rock has been absent. The days of torch passing have long since passed.

A Cena heel turn is definitely do-able. It doesn't have to be very long term, even six months or so would be good, until he sees the error of his ways and turns back. They don't need one face of the company per se in the short term. TNA doesn't have one clearly designated face of the company and they're OK. It could be a group effort in the short term and it would work out just fine.

As a loyal fan of both CM Punk and Randy Orton, I'd be ashamed of myself if I didn't--

Have you been watching their encounters recently?

So Cena is going to play heel for a couple of months and the WWE doesn't have anyone for him to face? Sounds like a formula for success. Cena is the money maker and Punk simply isn't read to be the face of a company that is aimed at a pg audience. About the only way you could make people not interested in a Cena heel turn would be for his main adversary to be Orton. If you actually turn Cena heel you better be committed to it. He has to go full heel and have a lengthy title run immediately.

Yes, I have been watching all of their encounters recently. And I'll say it again. Cena does not need the Rock to pass the torch to him in any way, shape, or form. Cena has, at the very least, been holding his own, and I would suggest in a lot of the cases, he has outdone the Rock.

There are plenty of people for Cena to face, especially as a heel, while he bides his time waiting for the WM28 showdown. It doesn't have to be against Punk, but it could be. It doesn't have to have title implications, at least not at first. I do agree that if they are going to do it, they have to be fully committed to it. But I think there is plenty of talent available for him to feud with. You're just not used to watching a product with a little more depth on the roster ;)

I actually think a heel Cena could feud with Zack Ryder. There, I said it, and now we're all just gonna have to live with it. The day Sam totally lost his credibility.
