WWE RAW LD 2/20/2012 - He Has Risen

2 questions come to mind now:

1: Will WWE break their blood rule for HHH vs Taker?

and

2: What the hell closes the show? Rock vs Cena or HHH vs Taker?

Obviously Rock Vs Cena....Their not going to end the Mania with HHH Vs Taker thats happening for the third time at Mania just because it has a cage around it.

I don't think Triple H and Undertaker will have blood. I remember reading somewhere Triple H thinks it's a cheap way to shock the audience. But beside that, last year Trips and Taker didn't care for the chair shot rule.

Really? One match has the two biggest stars feud for almost a year and the other just got announced. Cena/Rock is going to close the show.

The two are 40ish and Undertaker isn't as athletic as he used to be and Triple H isn't as technical mastermind. But these two are going to blow the roof off the Sun Life stadium regardless. All 4 main-events can steal the show. This is the best Wrestlemania in ages.

What I mean is that the match has to actually involve the cell in some way, which is something that some of the HIAC matches in the October PPV haven't done. The whole point of HIAC is that wrestlers go to lengths they wouldn't go to in any other situation. I'm not expecting a Mankind moment, but there needs to be something really memorable. Still, if anyone can do it, it's Trips and Taker.

And you're right. This is the first time since WM22 that I've been excited for an entire Wrestlemania card. Now we need Santino/Rhodes and Beth/Kharma.

um....not that I can think of. I think I am pretty serious actually.

Hmm I wonder what will close Wrestlemania 28 in Miami?

Will it be the match that WWE has exhaused every media outlet into promoting since Wrestlemania 27? The one with the company's current cash cow versus one of the biggest wrestlers of all time and is currently a high-profile movie star (Who also happens to be a native of Miami).

or the other match?

There's one main eventer that Taker has never faced...

Cena's not the right man. I don't think his character is the right one to do it. Cena is shallow. He could never appreciate the gravitas of what he was about to do. I suppose there's a story to be made there, but it turns the Undertaker into a supporting piece, which isn't appropriate. Triple H knows full well what's he doing, which is precisely why he doesn't want to.

Kane, maybe I could buy Kane, but what does the story boil down to? A young brother twisted with rage determined to finally rise above his elder? For one, he's already tried and failed, and for two, the story's been done and redone to death. The Undertaker's story, again, is bigger.

It's one warrior asking for the only death he can accept. Shawn could have done it, but he was blinded by the pursuit of glory. Triple H is the only one left.

If HHH/Taker is in the middle, the streak doesn't end. Besides they cant miss out on taker going 20-0, it's too big a milestone.

I feel sorry for whoever has to construct the set at Mania that A) has to cover the ring in case of bad weather and B) has to be big enough to suspend The Cell above the ring.

I think Undertaker vs Kane came to a head in 2010... where Kane beat the Undertaker three PPV's in a row and Undy STILL couldn't take the title from kane.

When Taker/HHH III was in its beginning stage, no one here wanted to see it...begged for it not to happen. Now we all want to see it...saying it could be the match of the night. lol. Funny how that happens.
