WMD : Official Spoiler Page

Pfft, Michael Cole is a play-by-play God compared to the horror that was Tony Schiavone. Try sitting through that guy's commentary for years on end and you'll go crazy. It's not that he doesn't know some of the more rare moves, it's that he doesn't know what the fuck ANYTHING is. Anything off the top rope is a "flying body attack", and any sort of slam in any manner or execution is a "sidewalk slam" to Tony.

You kids be glad you never dealt with the horrors of a commentary team involving Tony and Dusty!

Impact results for 8/4

* Immortal opens the show – Bully Ray, Gunner, Scott Steiner, the Jarretts, Abyss and Mr. Anderson. Ray introduces everyone. There’s tension between Anderson and Ray over Anderson losing last night, or the week before. Anderson challenges Ray to a match at Hardcore Justice. They go at it and out comes Fortune for a brawl.

* Madison Rayne beat Miss Tessmacher via roll-up. Mickie James runs in for the save after the match but is interrupted by Angelina Love and Winter.

* Brother Devon beat AJ Styles with a roll-up in a Bound For Glory Series match.

* The Pope beat Samoa Joe in a Bound For Glory Series match. Joe is now the only one with 0 points. Joe actually won the match by submission but wouldn’t break the hold after the bell and was disqualified, giving Pope the win.

* Hernandez beat James Storm in a Street Fight, with a roll-up of all moves.

* Austin Aries beat Alex Shelley in a great match.

* Rob Van Dam and Crimson beat Scott Steiner and Gunner in a Bound For Glory Series match. RVD got the win for his team so he gets the points. RVD vs. Crimson for the BFG Series finals is announced for Hardcore Justice.

* Kurt Angle and Sting come out for their Hardcore Justice World Heavyweight Title match contract signing. Nothing major here but more talk than we wanted in the main event. Mutual respect between Angle and Sting going into Sunday

Looking at another spoiler report for Impact it says Daniels distracted AJ Styles so Devon could get the roll up. I guess it makes it a little better because at first i thought Devon beat AJ clean. Heard the Shelly/Aries match was really good so i am looking forward to that.

Barrett more or less reset his character to "FCW" and looked like he got rather a lot of contact when he punched DBD. And that's a good thing Barrett routinely stole the show in FCW.

In other news John Morrison had a good showing in his return match. He was little rusty, but that's hardly shocking. I also liked Gabriel's little video package even though he wasn't on the show he was given a little backstory (though PGified with regards to his father) and character development. I hope that he gets something to do now he's gone solo. Preferably a feud with Leo Kruger (which would be amazing if they could work out a deal with WWP for footage) but I digress.

He needs to drink whiskey. Seriously, he needs to be drinkin publicly and shit. It would also make him a great opponent for Punk down the line.

I demand he drink as much alcohol on screen as Steve Austin circa 1999.

So you want him to spill most of it down himself?

The video package on the WWE title was so-so...then Cult of Personality came on.

Do you have a link to this? It didn't appear in the edit I just watched.

I'm really loving Randy Orton right now. I think he might have even usurped Christian as my number two. Fickle? Yes. Yes, I am.
