NOTES
- WWE writers were coming up with a backup plan for last night's Capitol Punishment pay-per-view before Randy Orton took the Impact concussion test the other day. There was great concern that Orton wouldn't have passed the test.
- WWE is now testing for the synthetic marijuana, also known as "spice" or "K2". If you test positive for the fake weed, you still get the $2500 fine that a real marijuana violation carries.
This has several WWE talents upset because when WWE began cracking down on real weed, a lot of the guys started smoking the fake weed so they wouldn't get fined. The fake marijuana has been made illegal by some states and is considered a "drug of concern" by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
- Zack Ryder wrote the following on Twitter last night regarding the chants for him at WWE's Capitol Punishment pay-per-view: "WE WANT RYDER chants at the PPV? I can't confirm this. I am not there."
- Former WWE Diva Jillian Hall wrestled her first match since being released by WWE this weekend for the Pro Wrestling Xtreme promotion in Orlando, Florida. She defeated women's wrestler Santana. Before the match, Jillian wrote on Twitter: "I'm super nervous to get back in the ring tonight. Plus, I'm sick!... Just made myself cry.. Gotta pull it together!!!"
- While TNA is currently pushing themselves hard as Impact Wrestling, the company is still officially TNA Wrestling and their parent company is still TNA Entertainment. TNA still exists, they are just focusing on re-branding themselves as Impact Wrestling right now.
- Matt Hardy wrote the following on Twitter last night: "Between dates, injuries, & outside issues, I'm gonna have a few week off & I'm ecstatic! The Matt Hardy Movement is going into full effect!"
