Oddly so, since he was anything but that down in Florida. The gimmick is a bit watered down as well.
I don't think Bray's boring in the ring. I think having that shit match with Kane has simply soured people on him. Which is okay. Kane sucks and matches where the ring is surrounded by fire are hindered by the fact that people are just waiting to see someone get burned. It was always going to be a shit match. But Bray's fine. He'll bring the goods down the line and all will be well in the world.

-Bully Ray, Knux and Garrett Bischoff came out to kick off the taping, and cut a pretty standard Aces & Eights promo about how clever they are, and how they never "ride alone". Ken Anderson comes out and announces that he will face Bully Ray at Turning Point special edition of Impact on November 21st. Should he win, the Aces & Eights will have to disband, but should he lose, Anderson will leave TNA for good.
(1) Ken Andersond def. Knux. This was an all-out brawl, with nothing fancy. Anderson wins with the Mic Check.
(2) Ethan Carter III def. Dewey Barnes and Norv Fernum in a handicap match. In case you didn't know, these were the two local jobbers EC3 has been beating up every week since Bound for Glory.
(3) Christopher Daniels def. Joseph Park
(4) Gail Kim def. an unknown female wrestler in a quick squash match as a part of her open invitational to all non-TNA wrestlers.

* Backstage segment with R-Truth and The Prime Time Players rapping.
* Ryback and Curtis Axel are backstage. Ryback doesn't want to team with Axel tonight if he's still a Paul Heyman Guy. Axel says he isn't anymore and says they should take out their related frustrations on Punk and Bryan later tonight.
* Natalya vs. Tamina Snuka is up next. Natalya gets the win by submission after Tamina and AJ Lee accidentally collided on the apron.
* R-Truth, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil got their win back from Main Event and defeated 3MB.
* John Cena and Alberto Del Rio come out for their arm wrestling contest. There's a table set up in the middle of the ring. Both Superstars talk about their match at Survivor Series. Cena ended up winning two falls in the arm wrestling contest. Del Rio attacked Cena after the contest and slammed him through the table.
* Backstage segment with Punk and Bryan talking about The Wyatt Family and their match at Survivor Series.
* Cameron and Naomi beat The Bella Twins when Cameron pinned Brie Bella.
* The Great Khali beat Hunico and Camacho in a quick handicap match.

The match ends in a no contest when The Wyatt Family interferes as Bryan has the Yes Lock on Ryback. The lights come back on but Punk and Bryan are gone. Ryback has words with Axel and pushes him into the Wyatt Family. They beat Ryback and Axel down and throw them over the top rope. Cena ended up winning two falls in the arm wrestling contest. Del Rio attacked Cena after the contest and slammed him through the table.

The winner must use a ladder to grab the belt. Hardy takes the mic before the match and talks about making mistakes and tells Dixie Carter to stick it. Dixie comes out and fires back at Hardy. She watches the match from ringside with Ethan Carter III. Magnus defeated Hardy to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. EC3 ended up trying to stop Magnus but got laid out by Hardy. Dixie also got involved at the end, calling out Rockstar Spud to tip the ladder over while Hardy was on it. Magnus celebrated with Dixie, Spud and Ethan to close the show.
