The WZ Ask a Staff Member Thread

Hello fine staff. I have two questions:

1) Will we ever be able to post in the Trash section? The description of it reads that we can mock the terrible threads, but sadly we cannot post in them. Some are so hilarious I feel I must post in them!

2) I have two infractions. I hope I don't end up imprisoned or banned. But what is the limit before someone is sent to the prison?

1. No.

2. Prison doesn't have a set rule for getting in. Basically it's consistently breaking rules or extensively getting on a staff member's nerves.

Sorry. The mocking comes from reading and reacting. The section is there more for posters to learn what not to do than to mock bad thread. And people might do something as heinous as keep the discussion going.

You have warnings. Not infractions. I should know. ;) Nothing wrong with those. As far as I can see, as long as you don't go on some spam-filled craze or troll, you won't end up in prison.

I just activated my account again for being away from here for awhile...changed my password and all that...I'd like to continue to post here and get others opinions on certain topics around the wrestling community...is it OK for me to leave a link to my own Youtube page in my posts? I have a channel where I give my opinion on everything WWE related. and would love feedback on my channel there as well as here.

What are the rules for requesting a signature? Am I required to make a certain amount of posts, or be here for a certain time?

It's all in the rules. Please read them when you find time.

WZ Forums Rulebook said:
G. Signatures: You are allowed one image in your signature and a few lines of text. You are not permitted any moving signatures or video signatures. If your signature violates these conditions, we will edit it for you and you may be subject to an infraction. Signature images can be no larger than a grand total of 800 pixels. Signature Images can be as wide or as tall as 500 pixels, but they must in total only add up to 800 pixels. For example, if you have a Banner that is 500 pixels wide, then it can be no longer than 300 pixels. Anything over 500 pixels wide will result in removal or a request to remove it, and will be subject to a Signature Infraction.

You can request one whenever you'd like, there's nothing in the rules preventing you from doing so.

Thank you. Wasn't sure about that one, I know I saw all the specifics about sizes and what not, but didn't know if there was anything about specifically requesting one from a certain request thread.

Is there anyway to view the rep you've given out?

Not for regular users, no.

Well, there is one way. KB is right as far as forum tools go. However, there is a way you might be able to. You can ask someone you repped to screenshot their rep on their User CP then send it to you. The other poster reserves the right to decline this request though. That's the only one I can think of.

Hi.

Wondering if somebody can look at this for me. I've reported it but nothing happens.

This is my Book This thread where I post my fictitious WWE. The issue I have is with posts from 'nouration' between post 351-362. He's new, I appreciate that, but he's started posting his own show in my thread. And, quite frankly, it's embarrassingly awful. I don't mind his predictions/comments on my shows but I do mind his roster and show! Book This rules say he shouldn't post (or even promote) his own show in somebody else's thread. BT doesn't have a mod so could I ask one of you guys to sort it me?

Cheers,
GCB

I don't really have a question, but more of a general statement. The forum user "Lowdown" has a sig that seems to be always picked up by my virus software. It blocks a malicious link coming from whatever is in his sig. I am not sure if he is aware of it or if it is even a cause for concern. I thought it was worth noting to you all, however.

This is probably already answered, but it's a hundred pages long...

What's the difference in the color buttons next to my infractions in my User CP? I'm not arguing that I got the infraction, that's not a problem at all. I'm just wondering if the infractions vary in strength of offense or if it's just one expiring and the other not?

Yellow ones are warnings and don't affect you at all. Red ones are infractions. And the points taken from your account are written next to them.

I notice there are always watch more guests than registered users viewing this forum. Another forum I frequent has a setting allowing you to only view so many threads daily before requiring log in, it seems to have boosted avg posts per day and lead to a bigger community of posters. I'm not sure if this of any interest to you but I thought it might be a way to increase activity in the forums.
