Who is the main head honcho for running this forum? I have a complaint regarding the infractions that have been placed upon me by some of the Moderators. I understand they are here to keep the peace but nitpicking at every little thing and recieiving a warning for something that is HIGHLY debateable is getting old & annoying fast. It's a great forum to post in, but if this is how they govern your site...there are plenty of other wrestling forums to post in.

My latest complaint is recieving an infraction for "Spamming" in one thread talking about the US & IC title needing to be on the card this Wrestlemania. I added in my thought out post adding to the discussion of titles left off the card at Wrestlemania. Instead this is labelled as spam? If you check other threads including the Zack Ryder thread you will find people talking about other subjects of wrestlers not directly linked to the subject in hand but still having relation to the actual discussion. I got told to read the rules, which I have because I do not like harrased.

1. General Rules

" A. Spamming: Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. The rules on Spamming at WrestleZone Forums are somewhat different than that of most other forums. We require that you give an opinion on a subject, but also to back up your opinion; simply stating that something is good or bad does not add to discussion. What we want to know is why you feel the way you do about a certain subject, to allow other posters to debate your opinion. We do not require an essay for every post, we simply require that you contribute to the topic. Spamming is allowed in the Forums under the Spam Friendly Sections heading, but not in any other Forums. Spamming in a forum where it is disallowed may result in an infraction."

The post I recieved an infraction for definitely does not fit this criteria.

Also, I had my sign picture or avatar removed. The one with me with Ted Di Biase and the Posse Party. Not much bigger or maybe even the same sized as the guys above me.

This is getting petty.

I understand it is the moderators jobs to keep the peace & enforce rules. But this is a little too much.

You received an infraction for posting about a Divas championship match at Wrestlemania. The post may have been considered OK in an appropriate thread but not in a thread about the US and IC titles. The mod did his job by punishing you for it because it was a stupid, pointless, annoying message in that context.

The sig...well you need to check before you put it on your profile. You should have one of our many GFX guys to resize it for you.

It's not difficult to follow the rules. The forums are great if you can do this.

Sup grandfathers.

My quote notifications still aren't working. I've tried turning it off, and turning it back on. The forum seems to be back to normal after its annual shit-spree of glitches, except for this. Am I the only one having this problem?

I looked into this and I can't find anything wrong. Try logging out and logging back in again.

If that's the case what is been done about the Zack Ryder thread? You have a guy debating the likes of JBL, Chris Jericho & others in a "ZACK RYDER" thread.

KLIQ69,

oh, about JBL. i still stand behind my assessment of him:

-"never was a fan of the guy either. like i said, he never generated good heat like miz heat or ziggler heat, he generated the michael cole 'shut the fuck up, go away, you're annoying' heat. to me, he NEVER produced a ***** match. hell, he never produced an ENJOYABLE match to begin with. he was UNWATCHABLE in the ring. he WAS better on the mic though than zack ryder, i'll give him that, but for the most part, unwatchable.

i know this is heavily opinion-based, but for me, being a technical wrestling fan, JBL was not one of the best heels. (austin, hart, hbk, edge, jericho, the rock----these guys were GREAT heels. guys who can TALK and WRESTLE. i wouldn't put JBL on that list. sure, he could run his mouth like no tomorrow, but he could NOT wrestle. "

JBL was NOT an enjoyable character to hear talking.

JBL was NOT an enjoyable performer to watch in the ring.

i just REALLY disliked him.

watching wrestling is my escape from reality, and i could really care LESS if JBL was a 'self-made milliionaire' in real life.

what he does outside the business is NONE of my concern.

ALL i care about is what he does IN the ring and on that MIC.

and to me JBL was UNWATCHABLE. i mean CHANNEL-FLIPPING bad. that's why i would NEVER consider him one of the best heels. a heel to me should at least ENTERTAIN in the ring and on the mic.

he should be able to do BOTH. he NEVER showed that to me.

as far as that old school style you talk about being a truly HATED heel----sure, that worked in the '70s man.

but NOT in TODAY's generation.

the wrestlers on top gotta be able to TALK, WRESTLE, and ENTERTAIN. to me, JBL was 0 for 3. (he could definitely run his mouth though, i'll give him that.)

now, CHRIS JERICHO, on the other hand, is 3 for 3 in that department. if you ask me, CHRIS JERICHO's heel persona in 2008-2010, he embodied this old school heel you talk about, to the tee, AND he could do all three----TALK, WRESTLE, ENTERTAIN.

to me, JERICHO was one of THE best HEELS. he definitely belongs on that list. not JBL.

no performance of JBL in the ring even registers in my memory bank as being any good. even when he wrestled against one of my favorites----mysterio, guerrero, benoit, undertaker, booker t, etc----all GREAT wrestlers. to me, JBL couldn't put on a good show NO matter who you paired him with. definitely NOT one of the best heels in my book.

I think its a simple case of moderators choosing to use their "powers" to bring down one guy who has a different opinion than others.

That's none of your concern. We'll take care of the threads when they need to be taken care of. You received a penalty for spamming because you spammed. It had nothing to do with what the thread was about. The argument you're making is like saying "Yeah I robbed a grocery store, but that guy robbed a bank." Your post should have been penalized and it was.

I think its a simple case of moderators choosing to use their "powers" to bring down one guy who has a different opinion than others.

That whole post, while poorly written, is still on topic. There's a difference between a thread naturally transitioning into other, slightly different, topics. It's how debating works. It's a completely different thing for someone to try and hijack a thread with a post that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand.

No moderator is going to infract someone for their opinion. Hell, the dude you just quoted would be banned if that were the case. I believe this is a simple case of someone who doesn't like the rules and instead of abiding by them, choosing to question them to no end despite hundreds of others being able to follow them.

Also, what KB said.

Who is the main head honcho for running this forum?
That would be me. And KB, but I'm meaner.

I understand they are here to keep the peace
Then we are off to a good start.

but nitpicking at every little thing and recieiving a warning for something that is HIGHLY debateable is getting old & annoying fast. It's a great forum to post in, but if this is how they govern your site...there are plenty of other wrestling forums to post in.
And you are free to go post on them. Or you can learn to abide by our rules. While we certainly don't wish to run anyone off, we're not going to be heartbroken if you don't come back.

The post I recieved an infraction for definitely does not fit this criteria.
It does because your post was completely off-topic. The topic of the thread is about the US and IC titles, and you come in to hijack the thread to talk about the Divas championship. Your post was off-topic, meaning it was spam.

Also, I had my sign picture or avatar removed. The one with me with Ted Di Biase and the Posse Party. Not much bigger or maybe even the same sized as the guys above me.
If your signature banner was removed, it was because it violated the rules. There are easy ways to check and see if your image is too large, and our Moderators do that before they hand out Discipline. I assure you, the last thing our Moderators wish to do is waste time cleaning up mess left behind by people who don't follow the rules. They are not out to get you, they are, as you said earlier, to keep the peace, as well as keep the forums clean of unwanted content.

I understand it is the moderators jobs to keep the peace & enforce rules.
Please continue to remember this.

But this is a little too much.
Not really. We understand it sometimes takes posters a little longer to understand how our rules work, which is why you received a couple of Warnings before your first Infraction. But we do insist you follow our rules.

If that's the case what is been done about the Zack Ryder thread?
That doesn't concern you. You should be worried about yourself, and not others. Other people doing what you think is wrong, doesn't change whether or not you did wrong.

I think its a simple case of moderators choosing to use their "powers" to bring down one guy who has a different opinion than others.
I think you seriously over estimate yourself. I highly doubt our Moderators even knew who you were before you posted in this thread. We deal with hundreds of posters around here, you're just another name among the hundreds.

My moderators are fair, they don't hand out Discipline for personal reasons. I make sure of that.

Having an issue with the rep system. I was trying to rep a post and it said that I cannot rep the same post twice??? I never repped it to begin with, it was posted after I went to bed last night so I only saw it for the first time a few minutes ago.

What post?

With a pencil and paper.

Other than that, I don't believe so.

15 minutes ago you repped him with, "Never let it be said that I can't admit it when I am wrong."

Yeah...and then it gave me the message about repping twice, even though I only repped him once. Good to know that the rep did go through though. Thank you!

I was skimming through the thread to see if anyone else had asked why they couldn't edit posts. Ten minute limit.

It got me wondering. Do you guys ever get tired of answering the same questions over and over?

Yes. That's why I always give Infractions for people who ask a question which is already in the Rules or the FAQ.

I appreciate you skimming the thread first to get the answer to your question.

No, they'd just ignore you.

I turned it off for you. Leave it off for a day or so, and then let me turn it back on. I suppose I don't have to say that you need to make sure your PM box isn't full in order for you to get the quote notification, correct?

I clear out my inbox every couple of days anyway.

Which of these two are acceptable for a sig?

I know this might sound like a stupid question but I am generally confused. Anything posted about bit and utorrent is counted towards illegal content, yeah?

No, not all torrents are illegal. For example, I download various Linux computer operating systems all the time through torrents, as that is the recommended way to download many times.

Surprising as it may be to some, torrents are not all illegal and do serve legitimate purposes. However, any posts which regard illegal content are prohibited on this site.
