HHH as a heel is fine....just dont give him the belt for awhile...it seems everytime I would trun on the Tv for 2 years stright he had the damn thing...If nothing else he should be helping to bulid talant. And if HHH does get the belt Let him and Jeff go at it at WM and let Jeff get the spotlight for once.

Ahahaha sorry but there is noooo chance IN HELLLL that the WM24 main event is going to be Jeff Hardy vs (The buryier) HHH. NO WAYYYY is Jeff going to get the spotlight at the biggest event of the year. As good as it might sound.... its not going to happen so keep dreaming buddy!!

I do however, agree with you that Trips shuld be helping to build talent because he doesnt need to become a 12th time champion to prove how dominant he is. Personally I think he shouldnt win the world title until 2009 if I had my way.

how come jeff cant headline mania,. he has proved himself more than kennedy this year. more than jericho. more than orton and more than hbk heck even more than hhh. so how come he cant headline mania

Though I totally agree with you that he's proved himself and that I'd like to see him in the spotlight, I'd have to say that chances are he won't be headlining WM just because those in charge like to take things slow and they probably wouldn't be willing to trust him yet. If this continues, though, next year's WM better watch out, cause we could be Hardy-dominated.

I also heard its going to be HHH vs Batista for the WWE title at wrestlemania. HHH will beat Orton at the rumble and batista will win the rumble match and challenge HHH for the wwe title, Now that would mean smackdown will have the elimanation chamber to see who faces off for the world title. I think HHH vs Batista is garbage, we have seen it, it sucked and it will suck again. Godforbid that the most over superstar on raw (jeff Hardy) is once again bumped to the side like a bumper car because of one ass*ole HHH. HHH is a cancer for the business. Russo made him what he is today. Lets remember he was a british blueblood going to the shitter untill russo thought of the DX idea. Why couldnt Hardyhave a storyline like HBK did at wrestlemania 12? the boyhood dreams would be an incredible story for jeff and it would make for something new and fresh. im also hearing Y2J will face JBL at WM24 and Edge vs Undertaker. To bad the WWE title match is going to suck because WM has alot of intresting things going on and on another note this is what HHH is saying about jericho

-- At the 11/19 Raw show -- the night in which Chris Jericho returned -- Triple H was joking with a number of the younger wrestlers about how they should be really excited for the next round of house shows. When asked why, he said that there would be nothing but sellouts now that "the savior" has arrived. He also said something similar to Shawn Michaels, telling him that he should work house shows again because Chris Jericho "was back to save wrestling." Michaels didn't really respond to Triple H's comment as he didn't laugh about it nor respond to it negatively. Of course, Triple H was being sarcastic with his comments. He was telling people that Ric Flair's return will mean more money than Jericho's return. Internally, some people believe Triple H's comparison was counterproductive. It was also noted that he never does this sort of stuff at the arena to co-workers, but Jericho of all people got him to do it. If he does, it's only with the inner circle of WWE. On the other hand, Stephanie McMahon was giving the impression at television that she is very supportive of Chris Jericho.

HHH is a little bitch he needs to get rid of his skirt and put on some pants and act like a grown man and forget about his little drama queen problems

I seriously hate the idea of trips becoming heel again, its like john cenas face turn, it got old because he was always playing the same character, i like hunter the way he is and believe he should continue as a face until the fans decide when theyve had enoug

They have fought before. It won't happen at this WrestleMania, but might occur again in a future event.

Triple H is NOT stupid. He realizes that his true fanbase rests on him being a heel. The Game just isn't the same wrestler as a face, not because he plays the part badly, but because every fan knows that his real calling is to be the guy that everyone is supposed to hate, but gets loved anyway because he is that damn good. I am not sure how the heel turn will occur, but my guess is that it will occur at the Raw 15th Anniversary Show against Jeff Hardy, one week before Armageddon. Hopefully this will add a little more spice to a match that is probably already going to be good!

Seriously dude Im all for a Jeff Hardy WWE title reign. However, it is very unlikely of happening at this point of time. He has proved himself more than Kennedy and Jericho(so far). But holding the WWE title is for the top dog of the company. Im not saying Hardy CANT hold the title, its just we all know Vince loves big guys and Jeff isnt one of those big guys. Mysterio isnt big but he had a title reign. Now remember holding the World Heavyweight Title isnt currently as good as holding the WWE title, hell if the Great Khali could hold that title anyone else could.

But Rey had a short title reign and didnt necessarily headline WM22 because it wasnt the main event and his match went for about 10 minutes at the biggest event of the year. So what Im trying to say is that the WWE shits all over the little guys which I think is totally unfair. Jeff Hardy deserves to be WWE champion but with guys like HHH, HBK and Cena on the roster, it just aint going to happen at Wrestlemania. It might happen at another PPV but that is also unlikely because of the reasons I have given you.

Why couldnt Hardyhave a storyline like HBK did at wrestlemania 12? the boyhood dreams would be an incredible story for jeff and it would make for something new and fresh.

i think that would be a hell of a storyline. i mean that hbk match at mania was good but imagen hardy vsing the wwe champion jericho/hhh/orton. i would be like a half mysterio half hbk sought of thing. that would be cool. it could all pan out by havign hhh screw hardy at armaggedon. then winnign the wwe title and hardy winning the rumble. i would be fully sick having another hbk boy hood dreams storyline again

i dont see jeff winning either. he'll probably end up in a feud with carlito now he's staying and most likely be given the IC title mon as a gesture. it would be a nice idea to see him win... but as has already been pointed out, vince likes the big guys and HHH likes himself. HHH'll take the title... but as a suggestion, if batista wins rumble, flair's last night... anyone else see a chance it'll be fourway with Evolution???

just a thought

Not many people predicted a Jeff Hardy victory at Armageddon. Most people thought it was going to be a close match, with most still leaning towards HHH winning this one and going on to RR for a title shot.

I think it was a very good move for Trips to give an opportunity to Jeff for a title shot. Royal Rumble is more about the actual rumble, so I guess in a way if the WWE Championship match is a bit of a stinker, the spotlight will be taken away from it, as the actual rumble is the main event. I think that is a kind off a guarantee that if Jeff does not have a great match it would not ruin the show, if you know what I mean.

What I am trying to say is with all the talk of politics that Trips plays, and his apparent hogging of the spotlight, I think it was the right move to do. He is giving Jeff his big opportunity. While I do not think Jeff will be winning the title, he is now a sure main eventer of the WWE.

Has your opinion changed of Triple H after this match?

Triple H was never as bad as anyone said he was to begin with.

Sure, he's married to the boss's daughter. And sure, he has creative input. But does he "BURY" everyone he faces? No.

Triple H ascended to the main event in 1999. He didnt even begin seeing Steph until at least 2000. And you know what, as I said in another forum, Triple H is just like any other major player in recent years: he wins, and he wins a lot. So what? So did Steve Austin, so did Goldberg, so did Hogan (especially), so did Sting, so did Flair, so did fucking Cena, etc. etc. etc. Its just the business. If Triple H had the exact same career, and he was not married to a McMahon, nobody would ever say anything; its just the simple fact that he's apart of the McMahon family that everyone just wants to blame him for everything. It truly is ridiculous.

I've always had respect for Triple H, and I hope him putting Hardy over CLEANLY will finally shut everyone up. Hearing about how "AWFUL" Triple H is, is getting so very annoying. And that damn shovel thing on the forums here is just stupid. Fuck, Cena has won more than Triple H in the last few years.

So, in conclusion: Triple H is just a very succesful wrestler, and at least he deserves it. Unlike duds in the past like Goldberg and Lex Luger, and guys like that - Triple H actually deserves it, because he is actually an all-around great wrestler. He is the total package: look, mic, wrestling skills, etc.

Triple H is A-OK with me.

Bottom line, I think Triple H may have an ego, but he generally wants to do what's best for business. After all, unlike Hogan for example, he still has a vested interested in the success of the WWE as a whole being a current superstar, whereas Hogan never has anything to gain by putting people over.

Besides, there are other superstars who can bury careers way more easily than Triple H. Like Hornswoggle for example. Think about it, losing to Triple H isn't gonna bury your career overnight. No one's gonna say "Haha, you lost to Triple H!" But with Hornswoggle, you lose stock just by being in the ring with him. Why doesn't somebody give Hornswoggle a shovel?

I think it was pretty cool of Triple H to put Hardy over. Besides, a Triple H win would have been too predictable and same ol', same ol'. In this instance, I think Triple H did what was best for business. Let's just hope Hardy really benefits from this rub.

Triple H should be putting younger superstars all the time. This is like Angle putting over Jay Lethal. It's kind of like ''Hey look I'm putting over this young guy. See I'm more than willing to job to lesser superstars''. It's bullshit. People are applauding him for doing something he should do anyway. If only HHH had that mentality when RVD & Booker needed putting over.

HHH losing is a good thing, it shows that hardy is main even material. But now do we all get to look forward to HHH vs. HBK again? that's besides the point tho. It was a nice surprise, and hardy deserves it. i just hope that there's a stipulation at the RR like no dq/or ladder match.

HHH has always done what was good for the business and it really shows here, it would have been a good match even if he had won, he's just that giood, win lose or draw HHH does what is good for the business. As previously stated in this thread, he's the all around package!

Listin I was thinking about it before the Hardy victory and I was correct. HHH just doesn't put anyone over , only he loses to the person he knows is the future of this business , Orton ( 3 Time Champ ) , Batista ( 3 time champ ). He just does right for the buisness. And now putting Hardy over , don't be surprised if u see him the person holding this buisness soon. Thumbs up for HHH.

Jeff Hardy deserves the current push he is getting though, i remember around survivior series he wrestled on raw, ecw, smackdown and at the ppv, he is obviously one of the hardest working superstars and is getting the praises he deserves.. id like to see him drop the ic title and purely be a main eventer.. when raw toured australia it was randy orton V jeff hardy in the main event and it was incredible, just wait until its on at the rumble!!!

No one thought Triple H was putting over Jeff Hardy, um, might want to take a look at the Armageddon predictions thread before posting that.

This is just a shot at Chris Jericho. It's Triple H saying, hey Jericho, you're coming back, well I'm stealing your thunder by making Jeff Hardy into a bigger star then you. Nothing more, nothing less. Quit reading into it too much.

Triple is approaching the big 40, so he should be putting over younger talent. Not burying the tag division, Randy Orton, Booker T, Umaga, and the long list of wrestlers that go on and on. People are applauding a guy for doing something he should have been doing the better part of 2 years.

Although I am completely shocked he put Hardy over on the ppv, I really think Hardy's title shot is a temporary thing.

Prediction- there's a rematch for the contendership and HHH wins.

I hope I'm wrong cause I would love to live in a world where HHH puts over other talent (aside from evolution and cena).

I was 50/50 on the outcome but I admit was leaning a smidge more towards a HHH win.

I think hardy will have his title shot at RR But I have a sneeky suspicion HHH might come down and cost Hardy the match out of a bitter rage.

I hope I am wrong though since we have seen stuff like that all before, all I do know is Orton will walk out RR with the title.

HHH left his Shovel home last night =D

i myself am a huge hardy fan so seeing him win last night was nice to see. hardy would be a great main event-er if the fans saw more matches like this that were such a huge upset... if hhh won last night it would have been the end of the story line... i liked seeing hhh make that face last night after he loss... this fued is cool and could be the slow turn for hhh as a heel... which raw needs is one more heel... would love to see it be hhh

Jeff Hardy deserved that win. He's done so much for this company entertainment wise, and in his whole career, he's only challenged for the WWE title once, against the Undertaker, in a ladder match. This is a good way to give him what he deserves. I don't see him winning, but i do think that he'll be a main eventer from now on.

This was nothing more than Triple H enabling himself to win the royal rumble and eventually steal the spotlight from Hardy anyway. Losing a middle of the card match on a fluky pin (a bridge) is bullshit. If he actually got swantoned and lost in a legitimate fashion instead of making it seem like a miracle that Hardy beat him it would be easy to take. Instead, it's being set up for Hardy to lose to Orton and Triple H will end up beating Orton at Wrestlemania. I'd like to give Trips the benefit of the doubt but he hasn't proven he deserves it.

And Yet it continues. Mindless Triple H bashing. If Triple H puts over everyone he becomes what Ric Flair has become A Joke. So if you beat the guy it means nothing but if you lose your a joke. Triple H is the top dog in terms of wins meaning that if you do manage to beat him it shows you to be a top contender. Everyone got so High on Shelton Benjamin after beating Triple H three times, Triple H put Shelton over well by losing 3 times. Undertaker barely loses and has been on the same level for longer you do not see complaining about him burying talent or not putting talent over.

So what have we learnt here today class?

If the guy that barely ever loses, loses cleanly to someone, he is putting the other guy over beyond what someone with a middle of the road win loss record ever could.

For those who don't remember Triple H has actually put over Batista and John Cena at his last two Wrestlemanias. I do agree though it is time for people like the Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels to start pushing some of the younger talent like Edge, Orton, and Jeff Hardy. Lets face it they are either in their 40s or approaching it and won't be around forever.

Meh? I'm happy that HHH put over Jeff last night but he doesnt deserve recognition. He should be putting younger talent over. I do agree with some who said that HHH cant put over evey young talent because it would make him look like a joke and then defeating him would put nobody over. Its very nice that he put Hardy over but doesnt excuse the fact that he burried Umaga so much that now nobody takes Umaga seriously(monster heel). He also took Carltio down by beating him numerous times and also helped burry Booker T.
