Heel or Face Turn?

Out of the of these WWE Superstars, who would you say needs to make a face or heel turn? Why, and how would this affect storylines? Who would they feud with? Would this make their career go further?

Here are the choices: Triple H, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, The Undertaker, Edge, Chris Jericho, Chavo Guerrero, CM Punk, Christian, Finlay, Festus, Miz, or Rey Mysterio.

I want to see Batista go heel really bad. I have wanted this for a long time. He could have a program with Triple H again. Or feud with John Cena and totally destroy him. There is lots of potential with him turning heel. Cena will most likely never turn because he is the major spokesperson for the company. It would not look right if he was a "bad guy". Little kids wouldn't ask mommy and daddy for the new t-shirt's much anymore.

Out of all those superstars, I'd like to see Edge make a turn the most.

I think his Ultimate Opportunist gimmick is running stale.

This would be the perfect time to turn him face.

After his Last Man Standing Match with Cena, win or lose I think he should turn face by extending his hand to Cena out of respect.

He can solidify his face turn by saving Cena, or another face from a beatdown.

It was Undertaker or Cena, I went with Cena. I'm sick to death of his patronising soundbites and general whiter than white, goody-two-shoes "personality".

i went with cena because i think hes over due for a good heel turn... it would help out ALOT, as no one above the age of 12 buys the gimmick, although if i had my way... i would have given him his futures along time ago but i know that will never happen for any reason other then drugs or him going benoit on someone because of the amount of money that he makes for that company.

my vote goes to edge. does anyone remember how over he was as a face? the pop he got when he came out on the first draft(i think) after being gone for a year. i think edge would go over huge with the kiddies as a face.

I think the problem is that there are too many who are due for a turn. The other situation is that Raw is lacking heels and they need to fill spaces.

Notable mentions:
Triple H - He can't do the face role because all it does is make him like Super-Cena and we get dull of it. A heel without the title is what is best for Triple H right now.

Batista - Purely because he should have turned after Wrestlemania 23, only for Undertaker's injury to keep him face. His face routine is stale and he would serve better as a heel.

Cena - This would be a big swerve, but given that Cena is over with the kids, it's unlikely, but again, he needs repackaging, I mean did you see the interview he did on Superstars? He was almost crying, yet two weeks prior he was wanting to beat up Edge. They keep teasing it atm but they need to do it.

Orton - Only reason I say this is because he was very much over with the fans in the Wrestlemania build up, he was getting cheers more than boos and that would have been the time to change him at Wrestlemania. But with Legacy and everything, the time to turn has faded and they need to get his momentum going if we can take a turn seriously.

Edge - Purely because there's little left they do with him. After tonight at Backlash, a change will happen for his character, maybe some development, maybe a turn. But they need to add something new because he's lost Vickie and there's little ways he can win the title without a new method of cheating. He knows how to pull a crowd in for sure, but it's more a repackage he needs, but a turn would have been nice with the Vickie/Big Show story they messed up on.

Makes alotta sense and would turn out alright.... then haveedge world champ and throw him in a fued with a top heel like jericho.... to have him completely turn face..... decent start well c

Cena turning heel could be HUGE. He needs it, I can understand why they won't turn him heel in terms of merchandising and marketing to children all that deal. But, what about The Rock? What about Austin? They turned them babyface/heel and it was great! It kept them from getting stale. It was interesting! God, I would tune into Raw every week with great anticipation on "What is Cena going to do?" if he turned heel.

However, on the flip side..CM Punk was boo'd at Mania' during that MITB. That's telling you something. People are getting tired of Punk, especially after winning MITB twice in a row. If Punk can turn heel, and Punk is a great heel, then BANG. That's it. I'd say Punk would become an instant star once he riddles off that line, "I'm Straight Edge, and Straight Edge means I'm better than you!"

So in terms of who really needs it, I'd say CM Punk so he can elevate his career.

I think the best persona wouldbe Finlay, but then again a lot of people on the list would benefit. Finlay is under used, and although I think Kane is underused out of all of the Wrestlers, Finlay could benefit. But we all know Hornswoggle Storyline didnt benefit him. Undertaker wouldnt make any difference, and although it would be interesting, I think there is enough Heel's in WWE.

The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels sould turn heel and start a stable about saying they deserve respect. Taker could leave for a while before that and start another biker gimmick and cuts more promos. Shawn would be like how he was when in the nWo saying wwe would die.

I think a lot of guys could do with a fresh perspertive.

Heels: Undertaker - one last Ministry run. C M Punk - Superiority complex would be good. Christian - he has been wasted as a face now. Rey and Cena but are long shots.

Faces: Edge - over due, Randy - poss missed their chance, Kane - full on mask rebirth.

Triple H and Batista would depend on the landscape after my preffered turns.

I don't know if this has ever been done, but have a double turn in the same match. Have Cena turn on Edge during the finish of their match. Cena got really pissed over with Edge hating everything about him. So, Cena turns heel and Edge turns face in the same match.

Good poll. I wasnt really sure. I couldnt decide between Punk, Jericho and Cena.

I ended up going with Punk because i've heard his heel role in ROH was pretty good and i'd very much like to see the heel Punk. His current gimmick is also getting a tad stale. Cena, well we'd all like to see this moral good guy go but the heel Cena would be something fresh and would open alot of new doors and superstars for Cena to dued with. I'd also like to see a face Jericho again, I always loved the face Y2J with his arrogance and how he would rag on the top heels, he's great.

I think CM Punk deserves the heel turn, I loved him as a heel, he was arrogant, caniving and the best thing of all he was over, If the WWE does goes this route i believe it will be the most logical one in order to give punk a fresher outlook and help elevate the man who will be champ one more time

I don't know what the hell has happened to Festus, but ever since he had a really good match with Undertaker on Smackdown about 6 months ago (during what seemed like a sort of build, at least to the mid-card), I haven't seen him more than twice. Now that he is rid of Jesse (no offense to Jesse, but Festus could do more in singles IMO), maybe he could get a good manager (do they have those anymore?), and start kicking the crap out of everyone on Raw... Festus heel turn, most definately.

I want to see Undertaker go heel and possibly come up with a new ministry (one of the best stables ever IMO)
