^^Listen to Justin, N00b (CYLONKILLER), or the man himself is going to e-kick your sorry e-ass
Guys (and girls) Do you mind if we start to compare these two guys skills? let's say...Mic and comedian skills first: (as both skills are intimately tied)
HHH: Excellent Mic skills, the guy knows exactly how to conduct from an interview to an emotional speech, and his comedian skills are superb. One thing that helps is Triple H improvisation. come on, how many times he had something else planned, and he always add something, or changed something, the guy's a genius IMO. Triple H voice tone and timing helps to conduct to promo, and deliver the image properly to the fans live, and works great for TV production.
John Cena: I'll try to be objective here, but dont expect any miracle!lol!
I guess John Cena's mic skills are good too. We can't deny that one of the mandatory qualifications to be a top star, is precisely have a fluent way to speak to the people.
The problem with John Cena start with his comedian skills: When Cena is talking about how great he performed on yesterday PPV, he might start with the classic 15 to 20 seconds of silence (Triple H does that too...) then, we usually have two options:
-first, the slow, serious pace speech, like trying to add a sense of "greatness" to the victory, or maybe respecting the rival (ex: Lashley)
-or, the medium to fast pace, direct comedy speech, when he starts to mock the other guy, in order to get pops.
The body of the speech of John Cena is unpredictable, unless...he is making comedy, so we know exactly that he is going to try to ridiculize the other guy (the one with mr Kennedy, is an example of a bad comedy skit) leading to a mini brawl (Carlito, Umaga, Kennedy) or maybe doing the boring ass routine of "the champ is here".
Triple H's speech is more solid IMO, all three parts of the speech are perfectly delivered, and well, Triple H experience helps him a lot.
When they finish their promos, you can see exactly the difference of both speeches:
Cena most of the time, is going to finish with the champ is here, bla bla, etc, or maybe with if you want some, come get some, pretty much, a generic end.
Triple H will finish talking according to the actual storyline, again, Triple H improvisation skills makes the difference here.
Bottom line, both are good on the mic, but is a matter of who you cheer for, so...
Triple H is better than John Cena in the mic and doing comedy.
