No offense to matches you all may like, but no match deserves to go on three times and rival that of the WrestleMania Trilogy between The Rock and Stone Cold.

Not HHH/Taker and not Kane/Taker

I'm not even really high on Mandkind/Taker, HIAC would be good for that, but the ONLY match Taker would really be good to go out with is ONE MAN.

That's right! You know what I'm gonna say! It sells itself and it's the most anticipated opponent for Undertaker since the late 90's...



STING!!


The issue is Sting I believe has too much pride in being the greatest to never go to WWE, but he should just go! Just go and do Taker's last match, give the fans what we want and I KNOW a lot of you would pay to see that, even if the IWC personally doesnt majority love it, I've seen plenty of threads on it in various sites and I know it would be a money feud to Mania


If Sting can swallow his pride, stop being a dick and give the fans what they want by going to WWE for a short term deal, everything can be perfect as it should be for Taker's last match and what could be the best option for Sting's last match


Have Sting/Hogan be Sting's last match in TNA, his contract's up before Mania and face Taker in your FINAL match. Sting deserves to end his career at WrestleMania

Taker will not and should not put over some young bum who can ruin it, he can do that in his final match at Survivor Series but Mania will be locked @ 20-0 and his last match should be a money match against an established star as the past few have been, not some midcarder

The ONLY midcarder who could pull it off for origin reasons is Ted DiBiase Jr, and if I seriously need to explain why you should slap yourself and go watch Undertaker's debut again, but Sting... The Crow Sting, is the perfect LAST rival for Taker on that stage

Kane is on the poster. I like that.

Wouldn't be too surprised at an arc to see him seek vengence for what henry did, a title on the line? maybe. But then what to do with Sheamus and Randy? who are facing these guys atm in the early stages of two feuds?
a fatal four way cell with these guys would be sick, but then again i wouldn't be opposed to Kane beating henry, Having Sheamus and Barret feud(i'm irish, i'd love a real Celtic style story line between them) and having Orton vs Cody, non title, dibiase as the wild card in the situation. They too have history.

Kane versus Taker is always great, the history is written i'd love to see where the story could finally go. I agree it should have a finish, this chapter should be closed.

On Kane's character getting revamped...i don't know. The Kane we saw last year really stood out, the promo's were intense very like cody rhodes promo's recntly. Loved them.
Kane should not put the mask back on, i mean i'd mark out and all, but just no thank you.

As i've mentioned i think you could write a book about Kane and Taker, or at least a DVD, "brother's of destruction" that chronicals their story would be awesome, so the story needs to come to an end in my opinion.

and as for Kane v Taker @ mania....sure, That would be entertaining. What with The rock and cena most likely being for the wwe title, and bryan claiming his bank will be against the world cham(probably with RR winner too, lets face it) a taker match with Kane could be sweet. But I also believe CM Punk will be at mania, against Austin(doubtful but i'm hopeful), Jericho (rumor has it Y2J is pitching the idea himself) if these don't happen Taker could easily face CM Punk and have a great match, remember, Punk holds grudges, And that time the lights went out and jeff was replaced by Taker was monumental. That could ,possibly work.

If not, then why not Y2J? Look at Takers mania matches, it's a pity that Y2J isn't on that list...THE list in WWE. Saying you faced Taker at mania is huge for anybody's career.

If the story is good i'll pay attention.

Sting is too proud, the crowd would eat that sh!t up but he won't do it. And nor should he imo. Sting and his joker thing sucks btw, the laugh is over the top and the walk is just silly , He's better than that. Like Kurt Angle moonsaulting from the top of a cage ,it's unnecessary . Tharper, I want to address your questions before I pick apart your post.

1. I think we all know the answer to that. We all (as internet wrestling fans) want to see Kane return to his masked form and wreak havoc on the WWE like he did in the good ol' days.

2. I think the feud was finished pretty well. If anything, they should settle their differences for a final send-off. Not necessarily in a match but backstage in storyline. If this really turns out to be Undertaker's last WrestleMania, he should have a few matches leading up to the big event with his "brother" as the Brothers of Destruction for the last time.

3. Kane should not face the Undertaker at WrestleMania 28. It's been done before at 2 WrestleManias already and I think with all the matches that they had last year, it will get stale and predictable for the fans.

Finally I want to pick apart your post. First of all, just because Kane is featured on the promotional poster for Hell in a Cell does not mean he will be returning. I remember he was featured on the poster for Unforgiven a few years ago and wasn't even put on the card. Also, you can't take Jericho seriously? Really? Really? He is one of the greatest in-ring workers in the business and even though he hasn't stepped in a ring for a few years, the "2nd coming of Y2J" showed the fans that he could be away for 2 years and come back as great as ever and still be able to tell a great story in the ring. This is no knock on HBK nor HHH but the streak will never be broken, "taking wrestlers seriously" in a match with the Undertaker at WrestleMania is just a foolish thing.

nbieclkl91, I see where your ideas are going however I have to disagree. As we (IWC) all want to see certain things, some are just not good for business like Mark Henry as champion. Even his recent push has not gotten him over enough to carry SmackDown! I respect the guy and everything he has done for the company however I do not think that Vince would put the belt on him nor would he make a match between him and Kane for the WHC, the match just wouldn't draw. Now if it was made into possibly a scramble match pitting Mark Henry up against Kane, Big Show, Christian, and Randy Orton we could be on to something

Nah. Undertaker-Kane was done a lot of times already. Although it would still sell, I don't want to see them at Wrestlemania for the 3rd time. Although Kane should revamp himself for the last time, because I believe that he only have a few years left like the Undertaker.

I'll pass on this one too. I have no interest in seeing another Undertaker / Kane match. I don't really care to see HHH/Taker again either even though I really enjoyed their match at WM 27. Depending on how well CM Punk's current push goes and whether or not he can maintain his current level of overness, I'm thinking it may be Punk vs Taker. Although it looks like HHH vs Taker is still the most likely choice.

Do you not remember the better part of 2010 when the Undertaker feuded with Kane for the WHC? Kane turned heel and was revealed as Undertakers attacker that put him in a comatose state for a number of months.

Paul Bearer was brought in, the Undertaker's urn was brought back, one of the matches in their feud ended with some weird glowing light for the urn magic power attack.

Kane played the heel and Undertaker was well Undertaker. If it wasn't for Edge going back to Smackdown and Taker being out due to another injury it would have went on longer.

Luckily it ended with Edge winning the title from Kane, and Taker disappearing on one of his 3-6 month vacations.

Kane vs Taker does not need to happen ever, at any point in time, in any universe, on any planet or in any federation ever again, period.

If neither of them had another match ever, I would be totally ok with that as well

I don't put much stock into PPV posters as they can be changed and I particularly remember a Judgement Day poster featuring Kane a few years ago and he wasn't even on the card and didn't even appear

That being said, I don't think Kane returns at the PPV as if he doesn't show up by then, but WWE continues to use the Kane image, it's kind of a dead give away he returns at Hell in a Cell. After Summerslam, there's a 5 week run to Night of Champions. Considering Kane was out of action about 4 weeks before Summerslam then by the time Night of Champions is over, Kane will have been gone for 9 weeks, just slightly over 2 months.

What would he be doing? Unless he returns heel (which is a possibility as he seemed to be getting pushed back towards "the Devil's favorite Demon" gimmick before he left), he'll be going after Mark Henry. I don't see Mark winning the title at Night of Champions and so at that point if he loses to Orton, Kane can come back and beat Henry without being the one to technically end his push.

On a side note, why is everyone saying the feud with Taker last year didn't finish? It seems very open and closed. Kane takes Undertaker out and blames everyone but himself. Taker returns to reveal it's Kane and seek his revenge. Taker is weak from Kane's previous attack and Kane repeatedly beats him and buries him alive to the point where the Undertaker was gone for months. When returning, HHH immediately targets him which is a completely nice, clean break. The feud ended, Kane won it. If they have another feud, it'll be a new one. I know a previous Vengeance ad may have teased a Taker return and feud with Kane/Barrett, but we'll see what happens.

Dont really want to see Kane vs Taker again though. Would however like to see the mask back!

I'm torn on this. You all make good arguments on whether we should/shouldn't see Kane vs. Taker at WM28 to end their careers. If we DO see Kane vs Taker, the possibilities are endless. There are so many ways to promote that match, the WWE couldn't go wrong. But the thing that bugs me is it would be their THIRD WRESTLEMANIA TOGETHER. Two is PLENTY, but three? That might be going over the top. The WWE has been known to get alot of mileage off of the same stuff though, so its definitely possible. But Triple H saying that he'll be ready for The Undertaker when he comes back kind of guarantees a Triple H vs. Undertaker feud. And most likely at Wrestlemania. The problem with that though is HHH vs Taker was an EPIC BATTLE. A 5-Star match all the way from bell to bell. One thing that made it so great is it was one of those matches that was perfectly timed, it wasn't too short, wasn't too long, unlike a few of Taker's past WM matches. So the WWE is going to expect an even better match next year, but I just don't see how you can top that. It would suck to have the final chapter in that feud not exceed the build-up match at WM27

You shouldn't have Kane vs Undertaker at Mania, not because I have some demented view of life where if you have a Kane/Undertaker trilogy then people might think it's on the same value as the Rock/Austin trilogy that I'm a fan of. But because it's overdone.

Why do it? Because you like 2 big scary guys against each other?

1. Should Kane's character get a revamp? Yes, every character should always evolve. Kane's evolution has typically been "ZOMG HE'S A MONSTER" "he's a fun big guy" ZOMG SOMEONE PISSED HIM NOW HE'S A MONSTER" "he's a fun big guy "ZOMG SOMEONE PISSED HIM NOW HE'S A MONSTER". It's a shitty cycle that they need to find a way to fix.

So how about this? How about he's an intelligent huge manipulative motherfucker. Like a 7' tall Hannibal Lecter. Putting his mask back on, or doing other shit isn't really changing the character. It's really taking a step back for nostalgia sake. Glen Jacobs is a smart person, so why not use it? By "intelligent" I don't mean that he uses big words and wears glasses to show he's smart. I mean he manipulates people and psychologically destroys them without even raising a finger...Hannibal Lecter like I said.

1. Sin Cara vs Rey Mysterio (Great superstars and great styles of wrestling. should be a great opener

2. The Uso's vs Ziggler and Swagger with vikkie in their Corner for tag team titles (Great time to put managers on the map as well as The divison)

3. Mick Foley vs Cody Rhodes (just a good match that Mick could put cody over in a hardcore match)

4.Alex Riley vs R-Truth for U.S Title (Good match idea and would be good for both to get spot light)

5. Justin Gabreil vs Evan Bourne Crusierweight Title (They are bringing back the divison why not the title and have some good matches between them)

6. Shaemus vs Mark Henry vs Mason Ryan for the Intercontental Championship (Three of the biggest men in the wwe which would be a great match and all three can preform good)

7. Khamra vs Beth Phoniox for Divas Title (Beth says she wants to change the diva's divison but what happens when the beginner of the change khamra comes and wants the title

8. Big Show vs Kevin Nash (The Stare at last years royal rumble proves these two want to fight and why not both are on their last leg so this could be a great match

9. Edge vs Christian World Heavyweight Championship (Dream match and i think everyone thought it should have happen at wrestlemania 28, but they put del rio in which they should not have)

10. Cm Punk vs Stone Cold Steve Austin (Austin and Punk match of the year canadate, These two so similar and both are in good shape to fight.

11. Undertaker vs Kane Streak ends here. (I think the only person who could face undertaker and finally end the streak is Kane.)

12. Miz vs John Morrison WWE Title (Both have history and are good in the ring together if the first Raw showed)

13. Cena vs Rock (All i have to say is its already planned)

ok, maybe not a "dream card" but i think it's well balanced with young talent and faces that have had the spotlight for a while... I hate.. and i mean HATE the idea of the streak ending... let it be known it'll be their last match win or lose, against his 'greatest' foe one more time. it might not be the greatest match ever, but it's a great way to send both of them off.. the streak shouldn't HAVE to end as alot of people have been suggesting.. it is his legacy and tarnishing it just so it's an "easy out" to him retiring seems stupid.

i also think they should really start pushing guys like drew mcintyre.. think there's a TON of potential there.. the hennig/dibiase thing i think is a good fit for 2 guys who haven't really been given their own direction to go.. i think they could take off with it

Edge is retired and 13 matches just aint gunna happen at WM. The matches will be rushed and there would be hardly any backstage segments (yes, they are needed).

At this stage, I would like to see:

Undertaker vs Mick Foley (HIAC or Hardcore)

The Miz VS Mic Foley - No Holds Barred ( Foley could give a real big name rub to the Awesome one on the grandest stage of them all and Miz has continued to show he doesn't need a title to remain relevant)

Undertaker Vs >???? (we all know takers coming back and does it really matter who he wrestles? He's winning, get over it, personally Id like it to be HHH again cause I like seeing him lose)

Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli the Kings of Wrestling Vs The Uso's VS Zack Ryder and Santino Marella Vs Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne 4 corner survival match for the WWE World Tag Team Championships ( Hero and Claudio are all but signed sealed and delivered and with Punk as their Rabbi they are gonna get pushed watch for them to be WWE's anwser to reinventing the tag team division for at least a year or two before they go singles)

Big Show Vs Kevin Nash or Shaq (no one cares this is a cigerette break either way)

This is 7 of the usual 9 matches we get at wrestemania. Now before you say OMG Raven you didn't give Randy Orton a match you must be crazy. I didnt give Orton a match because he is Versatile you can do alot with Orton I would personally like to see him fueding Sheamus around this time as it would be high profile for both without having them in the main event scene. Other guys not included and why. Wade Barret (should be released he's worthless he is William Regal without the ability to actually wrestle) Alex Riley ( Will be a nobody again in a matter of months relegated to superstars) R-Truth (amazing heel transition doesn't matter because WWE is Racist and will never truly push an african american superstar....don't believe me research it) Rey Mysterio (Likely will now miss mania with his 5,000th knee surgery) Sin Cara ( will likely be future endeavored)

Note: Alberto Del Rio - I could not think of a real exciting match for ADR though I am sure he will have one and it will be high up on the card, I don't want to say ADR vs Orton cause we already seen it and really don't need to see it again.
