Road to Wrestlemania 28 - KEEP ALL WM28 GENERAL DISCUSSION IN HERE!!

I honestly don't see why Austin should have to settle for second best at wrestlemania next year, just like he did at wrestlemania X8.

Rock/Cena is already set in stone, that is the stellar dream match that everyone wants, and it will happen, the show should now (I make it sound like its real soon!) be built around new matches that people want to happen. The people looking nostalgia will have their match, worth their money alone, this gives the show a lot more flexibility with being experimental.

I honestly don't think Austin should be involved in it at all, if anything let him pop up his head every now and then in the next couple of months whilst he's relevant with tough enough on, it makes so much more sense!

I would love to see Edge vs Christian as the world heavyweight championship with a good 3 to 4 month build up with either Christian or Edge as heel turning on one or the other at some point setting up the big match at mania.

and Jericho vs the Miz for the WWE title with a face Y2J winning the rumble and challenging the miz saying his narcissistic, disrespect of all the fans and legends is wrong and reminds him of everything he hates about himself cause he learned from his mistakes and blah blah blah culminating at mania.

on the streak I would love to see one of 2 scenarios 1.Taker vs McMahon in an absolute blood drenched attitude style war building up for weeks with that amazing heel McMahon doing every possible thing he could do including interference from all the wrestlers who are not on the mania card running in performing there finisher on taker each more devastating leaving the stadium breathless and taker keeps getting up, the urn, the coffin, incorporate it all! only to see there is no stopping 20-0 and then UT saying goodbye for good the next night on raw and be inducted to the HOF the eve of WM 30 in NYC at the garden!

OR 2.have taker have one more absolutley dominant blowout win vs who ever lets just say Kane? seal up 20-0 and say goodbye for good on raw the next night and be inducted the HOF at WM 30 in NYC at the garden!

The WWE title-CM Punk vs. Mason Ryan - I know this sounds weird or probably not likely, but here is my theory. CM Punk wins the title at Summerslam with the help of Mason Ryan. the next few month they hint around with Mason getting sick and tired of Punks "saviour" like qualities, meanwhile Ryan is also destroying all his competition.

At the Royal Rumble Ryan Mason wins the it and the next night says he is challenging Punk for the title. I know this sounds exactly like the HHH and Batista storyline, but I think it could work again with Punk and Ryan

For the World championship- I see it being Edge vs Christian. I don't think edge will hold onto the belt the whole time to next years WM, he may lose it to Del Rio, but then win it back again around the Rumble. And then shortly after the rumble have Christian turn on Edge and set up a match at WM

One thing I am surprised about with Cena-Rock set all ready is 1. Can this story keep people's interest for a year, and 2. I thought for sure that Cena would actually face Undertaker at next years WM, as they need a big name for his 20-0 steak and I don't see HBK coming back for it

With the rock saying he's going to return to wrestlemania 28 to face John cena for one more match, don't you think it's possible that we can see the viper vs the rattle snake? Now that'd be one for the ages, granted austin has a bad neck but that could be easily worked out, shorten the match or something, but the rivalry build up would make sense, let's not forget survivor series 03 was the year team bicshoff beat team Austin because of Randy orton with the asset from Batista to retire stone cold, there's also the fact that orton is the legend killer and he can say he has one more legend to kill. With everything wwe has surprised us with, rock returning, trish, Booker, Nash. Del rio winning the rumble, cena losing to miz at maia, why can't we add austin vs orton to that list of surprises.?

Easily worked out? I know that many of us are a bit disillusioned by the fact that many wrestlers have "come back" after a neck injury, but Austin's was particularly bad. There's nothing "easy" about it. Even a short match could cause permanent damage, forget about the fact that if Austin were to come back, having a short match would not do him justice.

I think we should let sleeping dogs lie folks... just because Rock is coming back for one more match doesn't mean that any other wrestler close to his situation should do the same.

Was I the only one that thought watching Raw that Austin VS Miz would probably happen at Extreme Rules?

Think about it......WWE wants to capitalize on Tough Enough so it makes decent ratings. Austin and Miz (past and present) were involved with Tough Enough if you paid any attention to Miz's promo last night.

Unlike Rock, Austin may have problems coming back due to his neck injury. I'm not 100% on this, but wouldn't Austin risk paralysis? I know that DDP had an injury like that but not too sure about Austins..

Anyhow, Miz and Austin at Extreme Rules would make for a good hardcore match. This would protect Austin's neck, and disguise the fact that both Austin and Miz would be limited in an actual wrestling match.

As far as WrestleMania XXVIII becoming one of the best WrestleManias of all time, I think that is a definite possibility! John Cena vs The Rock is a dream matchup that WWE fans have had in the back of their mind since Cena was pushed to the main event. The crowd reaction for that ought to be reminiscent of Rock-Hogan (give or take). One era up against another. Speaking of eras, and defining an era, I also believe wholeheartedly that we will see Triple H vs Undertaker II (III), but this time, it will have the streak vs career stipulation. As we saw with the Shawn Michaels matches, a rematch can definitely be every bit as good as the original. Austin/Miz? I'm not sure about that one. If last night was any indication of it, I think it too could add so much to the event. And guess what? That doesn't even include the world titles. It could be a big crapshoot as to who will compete in them, but I expect John Morrison to go over in one of the matches for sure. Mason Ryan also looks to be in the mix. Maybe we'll have that big Edge-Christian match? I also expect to see Sin Cara vs Alberto Del Rio in a match of Mexico's "Rock and Austin." MASSIVE potential for the 28th installment. Sure, I think we can all agree that this past year's was mediocre (that seems to be most of what I was hearing). But I was more excited for post-WM anyway, just to see how WWE books its product heading into next year's show. I can't wait!

Was I the only one that thought watching Raw that Austin VS Miz would probably happen at Extreme Rules?

That may be a good idea. Problem is the WWE title. Do you drop it before the show? Do you put it on the line? Do you have Austin go OVER? That may just be a tough situation. Then again, who else would Miz have to face at ER? He wouldn't get Cena 1 v 1 again.

DREAM SCENARIO, not in anyway based in reality:

The Rock v. John Cena
Whoever turns out to be the GM is a super heel and The Rock goes away until Survivor Series sort of time, when he comes back to help Super Cena from being tortured by the GM. A mutual respect thing builds up for a month or two until their personalities get too big and WM28 happens. Doesn't need to happen every week, most importantly.

(What it will actually be: The Rock v. John Cena)

Taker v. Sting

Between Jeff Hardy, Dixie and Jeff and Bischoff fucking everything up and dropping tv ratings, Sting notices he missed the chance of a lifetime at this WM and decides that he needs to jump ship in the summer. Vince will happily buy out his contract. Might need a bit of build up to introduce Sting to the younger audiences as the WCW equivilant of Taker and that we will be seeing the match that older fans have always wished and hoped for.

(Will actually be: Taker v. Jericho? Or alternatively, Taker looked in so much pain that I wouldn't be surprised if he retires before WM.)

Spinner Belt Championship: The Miz (c) v. John Morrison
Can you imagine the heat that would exist if they kept the belt on The Miz for a whole year? Orton, Cena, Punk, Sheamus, Triple H, whoever moves in the draft all lose by circumstance until everyone is just foaming at the mouth for someone, anyone, anyhow to beat Miz down. Enter at the Royal Rumble- John Morrison. Screwed by the heel GM out of chances to prove himself in the title scene, he is left with only the Royal Rumble to do it to prove 'everyone' wrong. After that you know the score, cherry pick the best bits from unbeatable heels (Hollywood Hogan, JBL), old tag team partner beefs and 'destiny' storylines.

(What it will actually be: You know for once I cannot figure who will win the Royal Rumble but it won't be a Smackdown guy 3 years in a row- Orton (rr w) v. Edge (c)?

WHC Title: Del Rio (c) v. Sin Cara v. Rey
No masks involved. After that, the story is easy as hell to sell.
(What it will actually be: Del Rio (c) v. McIntyre or Rhodes as MITB winner.)

Other dream matches:
Punk v. Daniel Bryan
A proper storyline of a Laycool split and fued
Sheamus v. Kofi v. Barrett v. Bourne v. Gabriel v. R Truth v. Big Show - IC/USA title unfication ladder match.

The card will look nothing like this.

I do think its a possibility. I know that Austin originally retired because of the neck, but he has kept in great shape with his movie career and his wrestling is apparently receiving a tune up on Tough Enough.

With his involvement with Tough Enough I'm beginning to think we might could see one more match with him at the next Wrestlemania or maybe even before. One thing keeps coming to mind and that is the rumor that Wrestlezone posted earlier on before Wrestlemania not to forget about Stone Cold. Last night was definitely the most we have seen from him in the ring in a long time and almost everyone would have guaranteed we would have no Rock match ever again either so I think its at the never say never point.

With that being said I don't see what people have against this match. If you have this match, with Rock and Cena, and looking like Triple H-Taker 2.. or 3 i guess, then it really opens up the card for some flexibility after that. You don't need any more high profile matches and have opportunities to have less established wrestle for and potentially win world title matches and while building up for these feuds you could potentially reactivate the tag team division.

With the big singles feuds already established, why not put Edge and Christian back together and build up some other high profile tag teams for a potential TLC match at mania. I mean Slater and Gabriel I think have the potential to have some cool spots in a TLC match and then add maybe a dream tag team for a TLC match of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. The last just being purely throwing a couple high flyers in the match but just throwing out possibilities.

The main challenge if a match like Miz-Stone Cold happens with the Cena-Rock match already issued relies on the writing team. They have taken on a challenge of keeping one match relevant for an entire year. In today's wrestling world you rarely see a feud last longer than a month without getting stale and this would have TWO potential year long buildups. I really hope they don't drop the ball with the Cena and Rock buildup and if this potential other moneymaking dream match were to take place I would hope for the same.

I hope W.M. 28 doesn't turn into another gimmick W.M. like this past one was. Old stars trying to make a comeback one...more...time...I just don't wanna see it all happen. I'm sure i'm not the only one here who thinks this but I really don't think its wise to book W.M. 28 almost a year in advance. Ok they made one match, and even thats risky so they shouldn't be adding more matches for a PPV thats next April. I'm a fan of the Rock and Austin but come on, there time is up and they don't need to do anything else so how about WWE actually follows up with the youth movement? I know i'll get the whole "none of these guys are as good!" well thats because WWE hasn't even given these guys a chance. They have a little feud with a main eventer, lose the match, and thats the last we see of them (morrison, swagger, ziggler.) No more A.E. people, please. Again, this is my opinion on the whole Wrestlemania 28 thing.

I hate to say this but I do not agree with your post at all. I hate that the so-called "youth movement" is being argued as a reason AGAINST this happening.

The reality is that it the youth movement is as big a reason as ANY other to have these matches take place. It may sound like it's coming in a roundabout fashion but hear me out.

No, it isn't going to give one of the youth movement the rub of fighting Cena at Wrestlemania. What it does, however, is give the youth movement a rub when their abilities are the standout attributes of the undercard featuring a match that the main stream and the fans stopped watching are significantly more likely to tune in for.

You give the main stream reason to tune in with matches such as Rock/Cena, Austin/Punk and perhaps Taker Vs HHH/Jericho and all of a sudden you have five or six matches left on a four hour card to highlight Miz, Morrison, Ziggler, Sheamus, Bryan Daniel, Wade Barrett, Del Rio, Sin Cara and the list goes on.

The Rock Vs Cena
Austin Vs CM Punk
Taker Vs Jericho
Triple H retiring to Wade Barrett "Shit, that bad ass Barrett ended The Games career? DAMN!"
John Morrison winning his first WWE Title Vs The Miz "Morrison sure can move in the ring, reminds me of a young HBK... Miz is a great bad guy."
Christian winning his first WHC Vs Edge Vs Orton -- "Finally, Christian won the gold!"
Sin Cara defeating Rey Mysterio - "DAMN! Sin Cara kicks ass! Holy Shit!"
MITB to open the show featuring the young guns not previously mentioned -- response when they do great "Woah, who are these kids?! I need to watch them"

That's an epic card. That's a card that highlights the youth movement BY drawing in your main stream and Attitude Era fans who left the WWE.

Don't give me "We shouldn't do this because it screws the youth movement" crap. It's inaccurate.

God forgive me for saying this!!!!!!
I know the OP posted now that John Cena is out of the title match but OH DEAR LORD I"M SORRY FOR THIS!!!!.

We all know the WWE is kinda selling to the younger kids right now, and I'm talking about the younger ones, not like teenage but younger than that. And we all know these young kids dont get on here and read the articles, and discuss shit in there, so they dont really understand how things work, kinda like we do. (Not saying that we know how the E runs their business)

Now these young kids see The Rock and dont know much of him but they kinda like him all ready and we all know they LOVE John Cena, what if Cena (good lord I'm sorry for this), but what if Cena goes into WrestleMania with the title vs The Rock.

Now like I said us older fans know that its an instant win for Cena because they rock will be done after this match, but to the younger kids it will but a large bit of doubt that their hero could hold onto this belt.

So I ask what if John Cena is the Champ going into WrestleMania.....

John Cena vs The Rock affects the world title matches and the streak match. But because this match is so huge, and that Undertaker's 20-0 streak is also on the card, the world title matches aren't going to be regarded in the same way and I think it gives the WWE a chance to use them for their youth movement.

So, My Wrestlemania 28 Card predictions are:

Cena vs Rock

World Title
The Miz vs Morrison

WWE Title
Del Rio vs Ortan

Edge vs CM Punk

Tag Team Title Match
Big Show and Kane vs Ryan and Big Zeke (just assume they join up during the year)

Streak Match
Undertaker vs HHH vs HBK
I almost think this a certainty. They're not going to make Undertaker's 20-0 against somebody small, Cena was the only other obvious choice, and I think there is a story in this match with HHH and HBK which would mean so much more than a match against Rhodes, Ortan, Barrett or even Sting. Not only that, but if Taker is physically not able to put on a show, then he can just play the guy being beaten down while HBK and HHH put on a show. I just think this match covers so many bases.

MITB
Christian vs Rhodes vs Gabriel vs Swagger vs Barrett vs Ziggler vs Kofi vs Sheamus

Rey Mysterio vs Sin Cara

I like the fact of having Cena as the champion, my belief is Rock could also be going into the HOF at WM28, so he can have 1 last title match at Wrestlemania in front of family and friends ( We all know Cena has to win to build the future product). But as long as The Rock is in WRESTLING shape these 2 can put on a great match and a great year long build up of promos.

The other dream match would be a 100 % healthy Mysterio vs Sin Cara have them both go into with a mutual respect for each other but bring your A game or whatever. there will be lots of high spots and quickness. could be billed as Mysterio faces a younger version of himself something he has never faced before vs the young gun who watched Mysterio growing up. Sin Cara wins and Rey raises Sins hands in victory and now Sin Cara is selling his mask to Reys fans and the E market machine continues. ( That is if Mysterio has thoughts of leaving next year )

next year must be dream match mania! I mean we have sting, austin, angle, undertakers streak ending, its going to be amazing!

oh wait the only match really happening is Cena vs Rock...

why do you need anything else? You really want to overshadow this match and ignore all the talent you have on your current roster by bringing back a ton of old guys to try to put together a ridiculous wrestlemania? look at how many egos we have here, no one is going to want to lose and the show itself would last 6 hours

with Cena/Rock as the main event this is WWEs perfect chance to build younger talent. Del Rio was a random winner of the Royal Rumble this year and he is the first match? that's a slap in the face

Next year they can use the Rumble to push a talent to main event status, like Morrison/Christian/Dibiase Jr. or someone else that steps up between now and then, idk its a year away...

Thats why they have a Cena/Rock main event, they have a solid main event already booked so now they can push the younger talent and give them an opportunity to shine in the WM light

Personally i'm still holding my breath for a austin/goldberg match, austin seems healthy enough for a big time match, nothing that would be a full time schedule by no means but given the right circumstance you never know.

I honestly hope they don't waste Austin wrestling on The Miz. CM Punk is such a better choice to be wrestling Stone Cold. The way they'd go back and forth, CM Punk is the only guy on the roster who could keep up with Austin on the mic, the storyline would be great and Austin would need a solid in-ring guy to help make the match good, Punk can do that. Miz cannot.

As much as people don't like to admit it, Miz's 15 minutes are almost up. I don't think he'll be Swagger'd, but he will be Jericho'd. Upper midcard with top feuds but the companies not going to keep putting that title on him.

I'm confused as to why people think Austin's going to wrestle again anyway. Is it just wishful thinking, or did something set off this kind of discussion? The exchange with The Miz on Raw wasn't anything out of the ordinary, Stone Cold has gotten into his fair share of in-ring brawls since his retirement. I think it was done just so Miz could do something on the Raw after Mania outside of the enormous Rock vs. Cena announcement. The only reason Austin was even there was because he was already in Atlanta, and because Tough Enough was premiering that same night. He's not going to be on weekly, and Miz will either continue his feud with Cena or move on to a new challenger next week.

Austin said at his Hall of Fame induction that he's never going to wrestle again, and nothing he's done since then suggests to me that his opinion on this matter has changed. He's only getting older, not younger, and his body is pretty broken down. At a time when someone like Triple H is getting closer to retirement, I don't see any chance of a guy like Steve Austin returning for another match. It just doesn't connect with me like it seems to with some of you.

Whose idea of a dream match is this? A guy who hasn't wrestled for almost a decade carrying someone incapable of putting on a decent match? This would be an absolutely horrible match, but I don't think we have to worry about seeing it. I truly believe Austin is done in the ring. He's probably had plenty of opportunities to come back over the years & he's never done it. And if he ever does come back, surely he can draw a better opponent than The Miz. I mean, really?

This is How my WM 28 Dream card would be if all the stars alligned :)

I added timings for each match. The amount of time given to the matches is about 3 hours. which leaves 1 hour left for promos, video packages, entrances, backstage vignettes

The WWE sorely needs to push younger talent. With an entire year to go and Wrestlemania now being built around Rock / Cena, there is plenty of time to build up some of that younger talent and phase out some of the older talent. How about a new push for Chris Masters who has been underutilized since the Master Lock Challenge days. Reunite the Harts. Push Jack Swagger back into the title scene. The man is huge and has an awesome presence. Push Sheamus again. Ted DiBiase Jr is nearly forgotten about after they seemed to give him a push against Orton before that group broke up. Face turn and give him a push.

So we have Rock / Cena. How about adding:
*New Hart Foundation vs Corre (C) for the Tag Titles
*Daniel Bryan vs Ted DiBiase (C) for the U.S. Title (stipulation, if DiBiase wins he retains title and gets Gail Kim for 24 hours....shades of Rick Flair / Baby Doll).
*Undertaker vs Jack Swagger for the Streak and it ends here, the torch is passed to a new generation.
*Sheamus vs Wade Barrett in a grudge match. Sheamus cowers to Corre the same way he did to Nexus and Barrett calls him out for being a coward. Instant feud / rivalry.
*Christian vs Punk. Just seems like this could be a good feud, pretty evenly matched. Best of 3 falls.

Can probably come up with more match ideas or ways to push a youth movement instead of burying the youth under old talent.

I would be pissed if Swagger beat Taker to end the streak. First off, while decent in the ring and what not, I think if the streak were to end it needs to be someone big and brutal and strong. Swagger is not all of those things. It needs to be someone who can tap into their inner Triple H and become a cerebral assassin, a heartless man who would put Taker out of his mystery. I can't see Swagger having enough arsenal to end the streak, it would just be so unbelievable if he was the one to do it.

1. John Cena vs The Rock Wrestlemania Headliner Icon vs Icon 2

2. The Undertaker vs Triple H 3 Hell in the Cell Match The Match that the two icons revolutionized and dominated in

3. The United States and Intercontinental Title Match Title vs Title Winner gets Both Titles Shemaus vs Drew Mcintyre

6. Awesome Kong vs Beth Phoenix Lumberjack Divas Championship Match

7. Edge vs Christian Last Man Standing Match (Edge's Retirement Match)

8. CM Punk vs Stone Cold Steve Austin

9. Alberto del Rio vs Randy Orton The World Heavyweight Championship

I have Randy Orton winning The Heavyweight Title but wait just after Wade Barrett cashes in Money in the Bank and Defeats Randy Orton to become The New World Heavyweight Champion

10 John Morrison vs The Miz vs Chris Jericho WWE Championship

I'd like to see at WM28 (apart from Cena v Rock) -

Orton v Punk (wwe)
Punk punted Orton at HIAC. Whilst Orton's out Punk says he's a legend for ending Orton's carear. Orton returns week before RR after a Punk promo and RKOs him sayin The Legend Killer is back, but his character is also mixed with the WM25 Viper character but as a face. Orton wins the RR to set up this match.

Taker v HHH
Because the last match was epic. But play on The Last Outlaw & Cerebral Assassain gimmicks.

Jericho vs Barrett (whc)
On Smackdown after Barrett wins title at EC Jeriho returns as Y2J. During Barrett promo Y2J tells junior to "shut the hell up" as he'll never e-e-e-ever be a's good as he thinks he is.

Miz vs Bryan
No1 contender match. Teacher vs Student.

Edge vs Christian - TLC match
Edge turned heel when he lost title in a fatal fourway at NOC. Christian was pinned by del Rio whilst Edge was out the ring fighting Barrett. Edge attacked Christian after the match setting up this feud.

Money In The Bank
Kofi vs del Rio vs Ziggler vs Rey vs Sin Cara vs Rhodes vs DiBiase vs Morrison
Scrap the PPV and have it here.

KOTR final
Sheamus vs Drew
Both as heels but both won their respective brands KOTR's and they have an cross brand match final.

Uso's vs Ryan & Otunga (champs) vs Bourne & Tatsu Kozlov & Santino vs Henry & Truth
Tag match for the titles. Elimination match, but only person pinned goes out.

Apart from The Rock and Cena I am basing my matches on pure fantasy..

The Rock Vs John Cena
The Undertaker Vs Ted Dibiase Jr with Ted Dibiase as guest referee
Triple H Vs Micheals - If HHH loses he has to retire
Edge(c) Vs Christian - World Heavyweight Championship - Ladder match
Sin Cara (c) Vs Rey Mysterio - US Title
CM Punk (c)Vs Randy Orton Vs Wade Barrett- WWE Championship
Sheamus and Drew Mcintyre Vs Dudley Boyz(c) - Tag Team Titles
Bryan Daniels Vs Alberto Del Rio(c) - IC Championship

Winners...

1. The Rock beats Cena and finally..finally...goes back to Hollywood I guess.
2. Micheals beats Triple H allowing The Game to retire (hugs all round afterwards or something)
3. Christian finally becomes Heavyweight Champ by beating edge..I would like to see them both have a long tag team title run before the road to wrestlemania..then Edge turns on Christian and they lose the belts..setting up this match.
4. Sin Cara retains the US Championship in an epic battle.
5. Wade Barrett becomes WWE Champion.
6. Sheamus and Mcintyre win the gold as the celtic warriors.
7. Alberto Del Rio holds on to the IC title in this one of many great matches in the fued between the two.

I don't understand why some people here treat Wrestlemania as a "springboard" to push talents.. Wrestlemania is for ESTABLISHED stars! if we want to push somebody us the other MAJOR PPVs especially Summerslam (Brock Lesnar won his 1st WWE championship at SS, Randy Orton as well)..

having said this, this is my prediction and realistic scenario for WM 28 (let's be realistic here SCSA and Sting WOULD NOT WRESTLE):

The Rock vs. John Cena - need I say more...

The Undertaker vs. Triple H III - career vs. streak
*I truly believe this is where Triple H will hang up his boots and let the younger stars take over and just be in Corporate WWE

The Miz (C) vs. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho - WWE Championship
*Chris Jericho will come back... and this will be a good match with CM Punk and Chris Jericho having GOOD mat skills.. They will bring this match..

Edge (C) vs. Christian (RR winner) - World Heavyweight Championship
*this is long overdue.. awesome promo and hype for this match.. Either Edge or Christian will turn heel.. besides both are MUCH BETTER heels than faces..

Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio
*this will just help ADR elevate himself more

Batista vs. Sheamus - battle of the big bodies
*here me out... Batista will come back as said in reports and what WWE insiders and superstars feel as well..

Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara - need I say more as well..

Beth Phoenix vs. Awesome Kong vs. Laycool (if they don't split) - WWE Divas Championship

Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre vs. Kane and Big Show - WWE Tag Team Championship

Cody Rhodes vs. Daniel Bryan - WWE US Championship

Dolph Ziggler vs. John Morrison vs. Kofi Kinsgton - WWE Intercontinental Championship
*ladder match - I really feel these 3 are just midcarders but on the upper tier

this is a very SOLID SOLID WM that can keep up with WM 17 & 19..

Usually, I don't indulge in fantasy booking. However, the WWE has already announced the main event for WrestleMania 28..and I'm bored

AND, remember, this is what I would like to see happen, not what I think will happen. No predictions here, folks.

Nick's WrestleMania 28 Card

1. The Rock vs. John Cena
Obviously.

2. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon (Street Fight)
This match, at WrestleMania, is a dream match for me. It's happened before, but this can bring absolute closure to their feud, and also make Austin apart of the Mania card, along with The Rock.

3.Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho - WWE Championship
Jericho has one run left, and he and Orton have great chemistry. With Cena tied up with The Rock, Orton is almost a lock to be the babyface carrying the strap at Mania. Great feud, and a great match to boot.

4. CM Punk vs. Triple H - Grudge Match
Another match that could turn out an absolute classic.

5. Edge vs. Christian - World Heavyweight Championship
If they ever plan on making this happen, it needs to be next year. I would like to see Christian as the heel, and Edge as the babyface.

6. Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio - I.C./U.S. Title/ or Grudge Match
I think WWE is hoping Sin Cara can be the next Rey Mysterio (appeal to the Latino community, etc.), so I think this is a great idea.

7. Money in the Bank Ladder Match
I'm really, really hoping this makes a return to Mania. Without this match, we are bound to get a few more multi-man, garbage tag matches, and even with those, some guys just won't make the show
Participants- Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, John Morrison, Trent Barreta, Alex Riley, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett and Kofi Kingston.

8. Random Women's Title Match
Didn't have one this year, so maybe that's a sign. I hope it's a dark match, because in all honesty, no one cares.

9. The Undertaker vs.....
This is the most interesting match of them all. Who now? I would love to say someone like Brock Lesnar, Sting, Kurt Angle, etc. But I don't know if any of those are possible, so I'm sticking with realistic possibilities.

I would say it's between Miz, Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus. Whoever isn't chosen, can take the place of someone in the MITB match (Riley, Barreta).

However, Miz is a pretty big deal at the moment. If he isn't facing Taker, MITB isn't for him. I would probably make him apart of the Jericho/Orton feud, and make that a three-way dance for the belt.

Who didn't make my cut? The Big Show and Kane. It's time to ride off into the sunset, guys. Just not enough room.

Dream Card

Opening Match
Tag Championships/Tag Elimination Match
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money vs. The Hart Dynasty At the biggest wrestling ppv you need the best tag teams of today to be on the card fighting for gold.

Sin Cara vs Rey Mysterio It wouldn't be right if they didn't do this match at Mania IMO

Champion vs Champion Match
Sheamus vs Wade Barrett The best two rising stars in WWE clashing at Mania w/both undercard titles on the line would make for good ppv watching.

Womens Championsip
Beth Phoenix vs Natalya Two of the WWE's best divas going at it in a nice 10 to 13min match would be good for that division as a whole.

Best 2 out of 3 falls
WWE Championship
Randy Orton vs Kurt Angle Seeing as Kurt was posting nonsense about Randy using his move well what if Angle came back & told him to his face just how much he doesn't like that & he will take Randy to school in the ring & take the title away from.

StoneCold vs Undertaker Epic

World Heavyweight Championship
Y2J vs A.J. Styles vs. C.M. Punk I think these guys could come together & make one hell of a match.

Main Event
The Rock vs. John Cena

Now that is what I call a Wrestlemania card!

Real Card What I hope happens

Opening Match
Tag Championships/Tag Elimination Match
The Hart Dynasty vs The Corre vs Uso Brothers All these guys are good so this could be a fun opener to the view.

U.S. Championship
Sin Cara vs Rey Mysterio

Womens Championsip
Beth Phoenix vs Natalya vs. Awesome Kong Adding Kong to the mix of this already good match could be epic for there division.

IC Championship
Cody Rhodes vs Drew Mcintyre I don't think either guy will be ME by this time show a I think they could pull off a nice match worth watching.

MITB (It shouldn't be it's own PPV)
Sheamus vs Wade Barrett vs John Morrison vs. Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler vs Christian

WWE Championship
Y2J vs The Miz vs. C.M. Punk If WWE is indeed building Miz up to be the future then he needs to be M.E. again at Mania & Punk w/Y2J can put on a good program w/him.

Hell In A Cell (It shouldn't be it's own PPV)
Undertaker vs HHH vs HBK Vs Kane I feel like if Hunter gets a 3rd try then every1 thats 2/0 should get a 3rd try & a Hell In A Cell w/all these guys in there together should be a Blood Bath.

World Heavyweight Championship
Randy Orton vs. Edge I think this match is Mania worthy.

Main Event
The Rock vs. John Cena

I take out all the advertisements, recap of the week videos & the backstage comedy segments cause there not needed at this view. The only backstage stuff that would be shown is ppl preparing for a match or a quick backstage interview w/Rock & Cena.
