Raw LD 7/20 - So an old enters a bar.....

Unbiased :lmao:

Unlike the people that just shit on Cena no matter what, right?

I give Cena credit where credit is due. He's been great this year in the mid card, delivering match of the year candidates and putting over the U.S title big time, on top of fresh, new feuds. I like him as a performer; i just hate his stale as fuck character. The main reason why I get ticked off so much is because of his damn fans, who think everything good comes from Cena. Ryback and Wyatt have momentum right now? Oh thats because of the Cena feud, it did wonders for them. If Cena fans were a little more realistic and opened their eyes, then I wouldn't be as hateful. Cena's marks are the main problem, not Cena

Be Okay with the occasional dip in Cena's merch sales and him losing feuds occasionally. He is someone that can take a couple of losses and lose a feud and then come back in a couple of weeks to where he was without hurting the person he is feuding with. Rusev is one where he could have lost and Rusev would end up better off. Wyatt is another one.

WWE is not going to do that unless they had someone that could generate the merch sales, publicity, and marketing stability that Cena has. They don't. I do agree that having Cena in the position that he is in will hurt the WWE eventually, but that has nothing to do with the man himself or how he is booked.

And for every Cena mark that exaggerates his greatness there are about 50 haters that exaggerate his weaknesses.

You don't think Cena vs. Rollins will be a great match? You don't think that was a good promo that made perfect sense?

I am never gonna take you seriously again after you just said that Wyatt and Ryback have their current momentums due to their feud with Cena.

Its definitely gonna be a great match but its gonna end with Cena beating Rollins for his 16th title reign. Its gonna be super cringey, but at least its going to be over with. Gonna try to look at only the bright sides on this feud.. can't handle stupid shit any more :banghead:

You're not going to watch anymore after SummerSlam anyway so don't worry about it. Just enjoy your last match.

Does that not sound like he should be kept far away from uprising talent then? After Cena lost against Kevin Owens his merch sales went down, more specifically his champ is here shirt (fucking stupid Shirt) but Kevin Owens shirt sales went up. Does that not seem like a situation where they set themselves up to fail there with a stupid shirt in the first place and then not allowing someone that could generate good revenue to actually be able to do so? There is so much anecdotal evidence that there is more Cena merch than anyone else at venues, as well as certain list of people who have had their shirts pulled because they were outselling Cena. There was a time when Christian was outselling Cena and then he got cooled off. Its actually a case of self sabotage so they can be right about Cena rather than making the most possible money

They have their current positions on the card because of their skills. Their feuds with Cena put them on the proverbial map and gave them the chance to use those skills in order to get to their current positions. You don't even take the time to read and understand people's arguments before you jump to conclusions, do you?

Excuse my ignorance here, but as long as the fans are buying shirts who gives a shit who's shirt they're buying. Shouldn't it be when they stop spending on the merchandise the WWE should worry?

Wait wtf.. if Cena is competing for the world title, shouldn't he have lost the US title to kevin owens? doesnt that make MUCH more sense than losing it on a random raw?

He could lose it in a multi man match on Raw rather than taking a pinfall loss.

He'll probably drop the title to Owens at SS and then enter the main event scene again.

That is the point, but WWE doesn't see it that way

Owens is fighting for the NXT title so same difference. Also, who the f says he's losing the US title?
