However, Yagami would most definately be Class 2 material, where Batman would be Class 1. The two most likely wouldn't meet.

I wonder just how much youtube and wikipedia will be used in this thing. I'd figure that it wouldn't take much effort to sway people's votes for an unknown, or for fencesitters.

Just show examples of people blowing up cities and planets; that'll get votes.

It wouldn't be in his character to change his mind that easily. He'd more likely surrender a Death Note to someone else, then manipulate them into making the trade and finding Batman's identity.
