He, along with King Vegeta, proved that the Sayian race were more than just the barbarians and cowards they were thought to be.

I haven't seen to many of the movies, but seen every episode of DBZ...just forgot a little bit since I haven't seen them in almost 4 years.

Yes that Broly version really sucked.

Both of them destroyed countless numbers of planets; however, Buu is still on a competely different level than Broly. He nearly destroyed the entire Universe with one of his attacks.

Broli was interesting for a while until Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks and Gohan ascended past Super Saiyan. Then he just became another enemy left trailing in the dirt of the Earth-influenced Saiyans.

As much as I liked Freiza and Cell, Buu is easily my favourite villain of the whole DBZ run. Although Akira Toriyama must have been smoking some serious mary jane when he came with all Buu's transformations
