It seems to me that the writers don't give a flying shit about Aces and Eights having a story. They just think that if a biker gang is on TV, people will flip the channel and think they are watching Sons of Anarchy.
Until they realize they're watching wrestling and don't care.

That was another of my thoughts... I actually think that would be a VERY interesting twist. D-Von as TV Champ? Roode as the World Champ under their thumb?
I immediately wanted to hate that angle... I don't know, I'm pre-dispositioned to hate shit TNA does when it's ridiculous. But I actually enjoyed it. It's a little weird seeing D-Von bury his face in a big ole' pair, but I think that segment gave them a little depth. Kind of like when Evolution and the NWO had their chicks. I like it. If they're not going to have any trace of intimidating talent in their club, they might as well have money and hot chicks.
Please God, don't let Kurt Angle be a key component of the Aces and Eights faction.

APA was comedy. If Aces and Eights became a comedy babyface team, whatever. They are supposed to be this huge threat to TNA but nobody knows why and they really don't do a whole lot.

Ya know, as badly as this Aces and Eights thing is panning out, it's great seeing Cash in TNA. How/why this guy was fired is beyond me — he's great. He's one of the guys who truly looks the Aces and Eights part, too.
Don't think I ever saw Samoa Joe run so fast before, someone must have told him the last cheeseburger in the building was in the ring.

Like I said, I thought TNA took some good steps with Aces & Eights tonight. The hot chicks and random money might seem ridiculous, but at least it's SOMETHING different than we've been getting for the past six months. Not a great match between Angle and DOC, but a good set-up for the 4v4 at Final Resolution. I think it's very possible we see the anticipated turn of Bischoff, and maybe Wes Brisco. Maybe we'll even get lucky and see an unmasking while we're at it.
