Good episode of Impact, not overly entertained by this whole "Championship Series" stuff but much like Gut Check I'll give it another try before ridiculing it further. Jeff Hardy beating Samoa Joe has left me baffled to be honest, the ending to that match is the sole thing of tonight's show that was sour for me, doesn't detract from the overall value of the show which was pretty good, as stated.

Not excited for No Surrender though. Storm isn't winning BFG, I don't see Joe winning it (I hope I'm wrong, I want him to, just don't think he will) nor do I see Hardy. Ray is probably sticking with the company so I imagine it's him. After that we've a card full of matches sans a rematch between Daniels/Kaz and Angle/Aries with little to no build-up to make you feel as though you have to order the pay-per-view; not that I'm complaining, I get it for free either way but thinking from the perspective of a paying consumer.

It reminds me of a Ring of Honor card. Great matches on the card, but only three have legit meaning, two are meh and the others are just there. Much like ROH, TNA have to deliver from an in-ring perspective now.

I'm not on the up-and-up with who is or isn't under contract with WWE, man. I just hope like hell it ain't Junior, because he's got about as much charisma and talent as an Al Gore speech at 4AM.
