I'm getting sick of this "it's a fake wrestling tournament why do you care?" shit everyone keeps saying.

I stand by what I said, Deal with it, a week or 2 after this is over no one will even remember or care who won.
...Well that's horseshit, most people who were here during the first and then the second tournament remember damn well who won. Infact the fact that Taker won the tourny last year has been used more then once to justify people voting for Edge.
So yeah, people do remember. And we're not getting pissed so much that the better wrestler is loser, but more so that SO MANY OF YOU ARE SO FUCKING INCREDIBLY STUPID. It's not the losing that angers us, it's a shitload of you flaunting your ignorance in our faces as though you knew what the fuck you were talking about.

To me, if you're going to vote for Edge fine, but the reason they are voting is what got me mad.
"I like Edge better", "It would be funnier if Edge won to see people's reactions", "Will asked me"
Alot of people took time in that matchup debating why to vote for Edge or Undertaker and people didn't even give it a look. Why are we wasting our time trying to convince people who don't want to be convinced? The whole point of a tournament has been lost on the posters here. Like I said, if Edge wins, fine, but we'll all know it wasn't for any real reason at all. The only arguments I've heard for Edge are, "you can't count one-on-one matches between the two, so Edge wins" (which BTW is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard on here), "It's not Wrestlemania so Undertaker won't win" and "it's a tournament so Edge will win". Seriously I've heard nothing else.

I'll be voting Edge over Hart simply because I can't bring myself to vote for a douche like Hart. All of Edge's e-fans make him really unbearable IMO. But after reading Bret's book I could never vote for him.
Yeah, and the only reason I heard as to why 'Taker would beat Sting in a 1 hour Iron Man match was because he sits up after taking a move... so what's your point? There are stupid arguments all throughout the tournament, and there doesn't need to be a logical reason why someone votes for someone. That's how the tournament was set up. If Shocky wanted it different, then there would be no poll and people who have to vote for Edge by posting and explaining why.
X, even you know how ******ed the arguments for 'Taker have been. Remember the Terry Funk match? You had some fantastic posts in that thread, and 'Taker still won because he fucking sits up after taking a move. Man... fuck that motherfucker. I'm happy as fuck he's not winning this thing again.

Oh hell yeah JMT I'd go with Terry Funk over the Undertaker all day and all night god damnit, but that could be because I'm such a hardcore Funk mark (his heel work in the 70s/80s is pretty much the gold standard for heel tactics in my book).

People criticizing him for not having great matches in the beginning....hello people, do you remember the insane level of awful wrestlers populating the WWF during that time? Edge on the other hand has had the chance to work with technical Gods like Benoit and Angle.
