Daggers & Dragons: Ask me stuff

I like the idea of a face stable, and I think Logan could work in a group like that..... But I gotta be honest, I hate that name as a name of a stable. That in itself would make me withdraw myself from consideration lol

With a name like that I'd expect the stable to be social outcast like...aka jobbers

It's inspired by Lord of the Rings, and Theron's own gimmick. If you don't want to be in it that's fine, but calling it a bunch of jobbers was unncessary.

EDIT: Logan could still be seen as an ally without actually being "in" the group, because I see why in-character the name may turn him away just as much as you dislike it yourself. We can agree to disagree.

Keaton is still a heel though. Cooper is a face.

Keaton may have to go tweener.... Your only challengers at this time appear to be Reynolds and Abel. Then again a face/heel alignment disagreement storyline could be an interesting read for your match(es) this cycle when you're back. Theron's got a "no heels can join my party" policy though :p

We were already playing up the veteran rookie dynamic so Keaton being a heel actually works really well with what we have planned. You've got Keaton who walked into the couple a few months ago and is already a champion, thinks it's easy to do, while Cooper has worked six years to get the tag titles.

Do I win a prize?

You get.... a victory fanfare! Everybody strike up a victory pose!

Actually, the fanfare was for everyone. You'll get some rep once it reloads though.

Wasn't calling the ppl in the stable jobbers. Just what comes to mind based solely off the name
Granted wwe has had stables with worse names lol... But the stable is a good idea

My party in DnD aren't as dumb as I'd feared (hoped) they deftly sidestepped the Mummy Lord, but I think if they had fought weaker mummies in advance (there were nine, all of them optional) they would've gone for it

What races and characters are in that party again?

Dwarven Life Cleric
Halfling Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer
Elven Battlemaster Fighter
Half-Elven Assassin Rogue

Nice, you got all the four main archetypes. Mine currently has....

Sun Elf Samurai
Moon Elf Favored Soul of Bane (Me)
Orc Monk
Gnoll Dread Necromancer
Gnoll Wizard
Human Hexblade
Dwarven Marshal
Halfling Scout

Wow. Only 2 PHB classes and 3 PHB races. Your DM must have a nightmare balancing encounters for you guys as some of those classes are much more powerful than the others

The Gnoll Dread Necromancer was the DM, for what it's worth lol and yeah he loves us using the non-traditional classes. When I asked if a spontaneous version of a Cleric existed his eyes lit up and thus my Favored Soul was generated. Summer Rae is her image rep, but with a personality more like Paige.

I thought about buying an old PS2 but it seems freaking costly for me that I decided to use Pcsx2 emulator for my Laptop. I don't know if it's the place to ask, but do you know what's the system configuration I would require to use the Pcsx2?

It's gonna depend on what your operating system is and how up to date your computer itself is. I have emulators for NES, SNES, GBA (which in turn is compatible with classic Game Boy), and N64. So I haven't really gotten much experience in use with more advanced emulators. You'll for sure need Windows Vista or better, and 2 GB or more of RAM.

For more technical details beyond that, you may want to try asking Ty. He is likely going to know a whole lot more about that than I do.

So I level up for about an hour in order to prepare for the Challenge sidequests in FF4 The After Years, only to find out the hard way that they got removed from this version of the game. :banghead: So much for that....

Think that's bad? I'm playing FF4 and I'm kind of stuck on where to go next, I have the airship so I can fly anywhere. I park the airship and go inside this cave. At the end of it, I make the bone headed decision to jump in that river, it takes me across the ocean for awhile until I'm years away from my airship. Now I don't have a clue how to get back to it, the airship isn't marked on the map either.

Take the Hovercraft and fly left from Damcyan south to Kaipo in the desert then go north to the Watery Pass and keep going through the cavern until you get back to the airship.

Ugh, DMPCs give me palpitations, doubly so if there is already a large group of players.

Currently working on the next campaign for my players (the current one is 'out of the box' so to speak)

Looks like we're getting a cool group of adventurers for that too.

Currently got
A Ranger (race TBD)
Tiefling Warlock
Human Paladin of Kord
last player is TBD but it's going to be either a bard, rogue or sorcerer

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for the rep! It doesn't go unnoticed, and it's good to know the hard work is recognized :)

You guys deserve it for all the work that is put in and I know my rep is worth more than 90%+ of the forum members so that and helping with edits/moderating is the least I can do. :)

It's funny you've ranked Gau pretty low. I take him wherever I can. In fact, he's the first character in my playthrough to inflict 9999 damage. I find him MUCH better than Strago, Cyan and Relm. I dislike Setzer too if he doesn't have the Genji Glove. I've not recruited Locke in WoR and that's the reason why Setzer has the Glove. I'd pass it on to Locke once he gets recruited. Is there any way I can get more Genji Gloves, in case I want to use Setzer again? I have one from the Secret Gate dungeon. Missed one at Returner's Hideout.

Because I hate Berserker types. Even though you can sit there having him use Stray Cat literally the entire game, I prefer being able to input character commands. This is also part of why I dislike Mog's Dance. The only way to get Genji Gloves in the second world is to use the Ragnarok esper on a Retainer enemy and they don't show up until Kefka's Tower. Give Locke the Genji Glove when he gets back equipped with a Sniper and the Valiant Knife. If you have the Coin Toss give Setzer that because Slot sucks. If you dislike him then leave him on the airship. The game allows you to ignore two people out of the full 14 (or only one if you didn't save Shadow) because the final Tower is set up for using three full parties of four, which is 12 of the 14.
