WWE SD! LD On 5/6: Christian!, Christian!, At last, You Are World Champ!

Mark Henry is the man. Remember when he won the ECW Championship with that huge splash on Big Show?

I did enjoy the Triple H/ Khali program a few summer back; but nowadays he's anything but a realistic threat to the title.

Yeah, back then he was booked like an absolute monster. Now...well, now he's a sideshow.

As for my man Sexual Chocolate, I was in Oakland.. Or was it San Jose.. I don't really remember, but what I do remember is Henry going over Orton, Cleanly... Like that'll ever happen again.

Probably when Orton was a heel and Henry was a face. That's my guess. No disrespect to you or your man Miz-Ark, but a main event spot? I'm hoping not.

It's not like any of the great wrestlers who where drafted to smackdown are going to be in immediate line for a main even push

You could be right, but I hope not. I'm hoping this spot goes to Christian (if he's turning heel). Also, they have guys on SD with a lot of potential to be big-time heels (Christian, Alex Riley, Cody Rhodes, Big Zeke, Sheamus, Ted DiBiase, Wade Barrett). Not sure who they will pull the trigger on, but they have options.

it's more than likely going to be Orton going through the motions against opponents he's obviously going to win against.

I have no idea how they plan on booking Orton. I think Cena is about to go on a major run, beating just about anyone and everyone, building up to Mania 28. Not sure they would do the same on both shows.

Hell yeah I do, if I remember correctly it was a triple threat with Kane as well, I was making out soo hard after Henry got mad air on the Big Show. His reign was epic as well, and with Atlas in his corner he was a legit ECW Champion.

You know, a Mark Henry/Christian feud over the number one contendership spot could be pretty good. Both men are winding down their careers and both men want the big one since both either haven't won world title gold or haven't had a real reign. They could pretty much be playing two sides of the same character - Someone who wants to fulfill their dream of being the world champion, one who does it through hard work with the support of the fans and the other who does it through being a monster and his own strength.

If played right it could be an emotional ride, and Christian put on some good little man/big man matches, as evidenced by his fights with Brodus Clay just a few weeks ago.

Am I alone in thinking this all (losing the strap) leads to a Christian heel turn? Interesting.

I could definitely see a Christian heel turn, or at least a darker Christian than we're used to. They should base it on this song:

Have Christian just be angry and sick of how nothing is working for him, or something.

(Really I just wanted an excuse to post this song because it's freakin awesome)

Exactly what I was thinking. Personally, as a Christian fan (as well as an Orton mark, obviously), I hope Christian turns heel. He is easily the #1 heel on that brand coming off this loss, if they go with the whole "I'm insane after losing."
