Intriguing Draft Updates

The official website of WWE apparently has John Cena, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio earmarked as changing brands during tonight's WWE Draft—in addition to Alberto Del Rio and Beth Phoenix. The website has created pages on the aforementioned WWE Superstars denoted as members of their opposite brand.

John Cena to SmackDown?
www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/johncena

Randy Orton to SmackDown?
www.wwe.com/superstars/smackdown/randyorton

Rey Mysterio to Raw?
www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/reymysterio

Alberto Del Rio to Raw?
www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/albertodelrio

Beth Phoenix to Raw?

The pages are legitimate because an error page would otherwise be displayed. For instance, an error page is displayed for Melina on SmackDown and JTG on Raw.

Regarding Cena possibly joining the SmackDown brand, it's worth noting that he is advertised to appear at tomorrow night's SmackDown taping at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

This is worse than them posting an article on Daniel Bryan returning, going into detail about how it "had happened," five minutes before he did.

Wouldn't be shocked if they were doing this to swerve the net after someone legitimately fucked up in regards to Del Rio and Beth's profiles.

If both Orton and Cena go to SmackDown I don't know what I'll do. Probably make a brief post expressing my surprise, I suppose.

Main site said:
I reported earlier that WWE.com had moved Alberto Del Rio and Michelle McCools' profiles to the Raw roster section, potentially spoiling tonight's WWE Draft. However, a source I spoke to today said that the recent changes to WWE's website are in no way "spoilers" or "red herrings" meant to give away anything about tonight's show. In fact, they are simple results of WWE testing their website. It's understanding as it wasn't long ago WWE.com underwent a major overhaul in design and functionality.

:lmao:

Shows still on somewhere.....

Dark:

*Johnny Curtis pinned Alex Riley with an inside cradle. Before the match, Riley cut a promo saying he was now on the Smackdown brand and would show he didn't need The Miz.

WWE NXT:

*They held a "How well do you know your Pro?" Jacob Novak won a pretty bad segment.

*Titus O'Neil defeated Darren Young with a sitdown spinebuster. Young pulled out a figure four leglock in NC so there were lots of "Woos."

*JTG and Jacob Novak comes out. Novak calls out William Regal. Regal takes the mic and rips on Novak, then challenges him to a match right now. Novak says no because he has a match this week and says he'll face Regal next week.

*Jacob Novak & JTG defeated Vladimir Kozlov and Coinnor O'Brien after a boot to O'Brien. The crowd was very much behind Kozlov & O'Brien. Novak was made out to be the star of the match, fighting off a double team for the win.

*The Greensboro crowd was super hot during a video package on the Draft from last night. Very Pro Cena crowd.

*There was a backstage segment where Maryse says her purse was destroyed. She tells Yoshi Tatsu that Lucky Cannon did it. Byron Saxton told Tatsu that maybe he should be paying better attention to being Saxton's Pro.

4/29 Smackdown Ongoing

The new roster members are already in the new open.

*Announced for the show is WWE Tag Team champs Kane & Big Show vs. The Corre and Mark Henry vs. Rey Mysterio.

*The World title is hanging above the ring.

*Smackdown opens with Randy Orton coming out to a huge pop, introducing himself to the Smackdown fans. Drew McIntyre, wearing a Raw shirt, comes out and interrupts. McIntyre goes for his DDT but Orton slips out and drills him with the RKO. Alex Riley tries to interrupt but before he can say a word, he eats an RKO as well. The crowd loves all of this.

Kofi Kingston comes out but Sheamus attacks him during the pyro pose on the entrance. Kofi was wearing a Raw shirt. Sheamus destroys him and poses. Kingston is carried out by officials. Great way to leave the brand, eh?

*There is an in ring promo by a heavily bruised Michael Cole, who brings out Jack Swagger. Cole does a pig call to mock Jim Ross.

Swagger vs. Sin Cara. Cara nails the entrance! The match is being wirked with old school Kane style mood lighting with blue and orange lighting. Cara dominated and won with a victory roll after Cole landed Swagger a weapon that Swagger never got a chance to use. Cara was over.

Continued
Backstage segment with Rey Mysterio being wished well on Raw by The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh. After Rey leaves, a large man of Indian descent appears. Khali and Singh treat him like a big deal and they all speak in Hindi together.

There is an in-ring promo by Rey where he talks about how it is hard to leave Smackdown but he promises he would beat Cody Rhodes at Extreme Rules

*Rey Mysterio defeated Mark Henry by DQ. Not a bad match. Rey nailed the 619. Cody Rhodes attacked Rey in the crowd. Henry walked out laughing. Rhodes put a paper bag over Rey's face

*WWE Tag Team champions Big Show & Kane defeated The Corre with double chokeslams

Michelle McCool vs. Layla El goes to a double countout. There is a big "Let them fight" chant after they are held apart by officials. Layla issues a challenge for a No DQ, No Countout match. McCool accepts and adds a Loser Leaves Smackdown stipulation. Layla accepts.

*Matt Striker interviews Christian who discusses his title match at Extreme Rules and Edge's retirement. Christian says it's HIS destiny to earn the right to be called World champion.

Henry vs. Mysterio has me all boyaka.

They did actually have an awesome match on Smackdown years back after the 06 Rumble. Or maybe it was before it. Not sure, but it was one of the absolute best little vs. big man matches I've ever seen.

I don't see this being anywhere near as good. In fact I'm certain it will suck and be about 3 minutes long.

I just do not understand this Mark Henry heel turn. It didn't work the last five times you tried it, it's not going to work now that he's even older and worse in the ring.

Jinder Mahal? Remix would know more so than me considering he is the FCW mark. Mahal is the only guy of Indian decent I can think of in FCW.

Mysterio fought Henry quite a few times in 2006. Some of them ended up being really good and put me on the Henry bandwagon. I was thinking about going through some of those matches again.

You're right. There was another guy but I believe he was released.
