It's obviously to set up a match at the next PPV KB. I mean shit, you can't give away Sting vs. RVD on free TV man, that match will DEFINITELY help the buyrate for whatever PPV it's on, that's a bit of a dream match right there.

Also, it was to get Sting more over as a heel by quickly beating down the fucking beloved RVD, if you noticed the fans were just loudly chanting "STING SUCKS! STING SUCKS! STING SUCKS!" about a minute ago, which as you said yourself is a difficult damn task to achieve heat for a guy like Sting.

Logical rationing I think, right?

The match made sense. the beatdown less but that works I guess.

One issue though: after about 20 shots from a baseball bat, shouldn't Van Dam be like, dead?

I hope so. I think I recall reading that Hogan has always been high on him (no pun intended). RVD could and ABSOLUTELY should be a main eventer in TNA. RVD vs. Styles, damnit, set that shit the FUCK up I will buy that fucking PPV five times just for that match.



Man, I'm a bit of a TNA mark usually, but this has just been a fucking awesome show thus far. A little bit too much Hogan maybe, but if you really stop and think about it and the fact that Hogan is easily already one of the most over people on roster with ease, it makes sense to get him involved in the big angles. Well that and it makes sense for him to come out after Sting after the attack earlier tonight.

Eh, it's wrestling, waddaya want? Can't have perfect logic all the time. Fairly sure John Cena should be absolutely dead considering how many times he's been thrown through giant electric lights and sheets of glass or been attacked with pyro by Randy Orton.
