Insert Pithy Name Here........An Impactful LD!

Well at least not since the early to mid 90s. Hogan killed that man's career like nothing I've ever seen in my wrestling life.

Pre 1995 Flair was incredible, but he's spent nearly half of his career being a walking joke. Hogan is pretty damn near, and I'm a hogan fan.

The last great in ring Flair moment I can remember was HH 95 where he reformed the Horsemen and they beat the hell out of Sting. Just perfect Horsemen.

Let me think.

BATB 94
Halloween Havoc 94
Slamboree 95

All times Hogan pinned Flair on PPV in less than a year.

He's the Al Pacino of wrestling. Like Flair, he's an icon in his profession who also fell off a cliff in 1995 after Heat. Since then, he's made one box office bomb after another and he's a walking parody of himself at this point.

Huh? Flair was still solid until atleast 1998. I'd consider his last great match from his golden years to be against Bret Hart at Souled Out 98.

Not really. Have you seen that match with Bret? That was an awesome storyline and an awesome match.

...Umm...what? Are...are you implying that Ric Flair isn't one of the greatest professional wrestlers to ever live? Does Eko need to smack a bitch?

Until about 95 yes he was. Then he became a raving idiot dressing in drag to beat up Hogan. They turned him into Hogan's jobber and all that mattered was Hogan beating Flair. You took a guy like Flair, the greatest character of the 80s, and had him jobbing to Hogan every chance they had. They buried Flair for Hogan.

That doesn't mean he couldn't still put on a damn good match after 1995.

Sean Waltman put on a damn good match against Bret in I think 94 and a damn good one against Owen in 94. Other than that...not so many.

And no I'm not saying Flair was on that level ever. I'm saying he had zero credibility and was turned into an old crazy man that was never a real threat to Hogan.

The Waltman hate is ridiculous. KB I could find you great Waltman matches from almost every single year of his career. His first and second TNA runs were just this past decade and he put on more than one great match during that time.
