Survivor 32: Brawn vs. Brains vs. Beauty II

The countdown to the show has begun! Tomorrow is the start of the new season and the hype is that a lot of people get injured.

New idol rule is in play for this season. I'm not sure if idols are hidden at the challenges like Second Chance because this was taped before that season took place. I suspect that it's back to the normal thing of putting the idol in the most obvious place around camp. Ugh.

Hidden Immunity Idol: While the current format still applies, there is also the option to combine two idols to create a "super idol" that can be played after the votes are read to save any player still in the game.

And because this comes up every season we should get it out of the way now.

Greatest of all tiiiiiiiiiiiime.

Russell Hantz still fucking sucks at Survivor.

He's really bad. Possibly the worst to ever play.

And he didn't deserve to win his first season. He sucked all the way back then before Sandra wrecked him in his second time around.

The time between seasons feels like it's getting shorter and shorter. Really reminds me how we're circling the drain of existence as death comes ever closer with each passing day.

Anyway, I'm going to put my money on someone from Brawn winning (again). The Brains will be paranoid and overthink every move, while the Beautys will do the opposite and put too much stock in their alliances instead of playing strategically.

I haven't watched since Heroes vs Villains. Not because it's bad, but I just didn't feel like watching anymore. This seems pretty interesting, and injuries make for good TV

Do people actually think Russell is one of the best? If you haven't got the million dollar cheque you are NOT in the running to be the best. Getting to the end twice and still managing to lose puts him amongst the worst from some perspectives.

I don't have a weak stomach, but the entire saga with that bug in that girl's ear was the most disturbing thing I've ever seen. I had to mute the volume and watch through my fingers.

A couple of those guys had some serious looking sunburns.

Gardener guy's energy seems like it will be pretty cool to watch or really irritating this season.

Bug in ear was amazing TV. I was pretty amazed that it really was a bug and that we got to see it.

Trainer dude seems like a putz.

Army Caleb was far more tolerable than I expected.

A fantastic helping of women with great figures.

That Chatty Cathy is seriously annoying. Hopefully she doesn't drag down old FBI guy with her.

Big Scott seems like he'll be entertaining.

Blonde girl or Darnell could have gone and I wouldn't care either way.

I want to see body builder girl get physical in some competitions.

I found myself really attracted to the Quantative Analyst and not because she had anal in her title.

The mental freak out lady scene was tough to watch.

Cool challenge. I like how they transferred the boat to land.

Categories don't mean much. Blue, White, and No Collar seemed way more distinct.

Old dude is jacked for an old dude.

I like a good voting tie.

I want to buy live chickens so I can put them on leashes.

Overall a really good first episode. Even dragged out for an extra half hour didn't feel that long and most everything felt like it was either entertaining or had a purpose.

Yeah, I was gonna say, Kyle Jason (Jason Kyle?) has a clear Russell influence, in that he's a giant dick. Some people are saying he's getting a Tony edit. But people forget that Tony was likable.

Also, I get that Alecia is hot, but there's something inherently unattractive about a woman who seems completely useless.

Lots of stupid on the Brawn tribe. I mean Darnell screwed up, but you can't vote the guy off because of one mistake. He is a young physically fit African American. They vote him off over a dumb blonde girl with no challenge potential whatsoever. I don't like the big guys or Blondie on that tribe at all. Don't mind the black girl.

Joe is my favorite. I'm always bias towards Law Enforcement players. I don't mind the guys on the Beauty tribe either, but don't like the girls. The Asian guy is pretty cool.

Brain tribe is stupid too. They immediately single out the older players, who are actually the ones doing all the work. I think Joe might be the best challenge competitor on that tribe, and Debbie is strong too. I don't mind Obama, but hate the rest on that tribe. Actually, the panic attack girl won't be bad if she ends up going with Debbie and Joe.

This season is full of batshit crazy players. I kind of like Scot he seems level headed and take no bullshit but I cant see him lasting long because of his tribe and big tall and strong leads to being voted out

Last night's tribal was hilarious. The one who went home (forgot her name) deserved it for being an idiot and saying how she thought about blindsiding the guys. Still hope that tattooed guy on the Brawn tribe is gone soon, can't stand him.
